I absolutely love the Exercise Coach. The workouts are super challenging, while being extremely efficient and safe. The coaches are great. My 54 year old body is feeling quite strong without having to spend hours in the gym!

did not offer me 2 free days like there ad said. their location is horrible unless if you live close by. they would not give me a refund and I never took a class that i paid for. i had two classes that should have been free. even after i said i was not going to come to any of the classes for that month, they did not refund me. they would not let me speak to the manager/owner even though I asked to. if you are thinking of signing up, demand getting 2 free days (if their ad still says that) before making up your mind. i really did not have any time to make my decision. they had me sign up the first day i went, which was supposed to be one of my free sessions and I did not know or realize how difficult it would be to find parking or that i had to pay for parking. also, they were not accommodating to my work schedule. I told them a time and they gave me a different time, which i would technically have to be still working in order to come. very expensive for only 20 minutes two days a week. they have a group schedule but i was not able to make any of them because of my work schedule and my husband's work schedule on Saturday. Since we have a young child, I was not able to attend any classes on a Saturday. When I told them I wanted a refund, they did everything in their power to make it seem like it was my fault. I never even had a "paid class" but yet I could not get a refund of my $300. They obviously do not let you have the opportunity for a return policy. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know. They literally got $300 from me for doing absolutely nothing. I hope your owner enjoys it.

I have been going to the Exercise Coach in Shadyside for about a month and have had about 8 one-on-one coaching sessions. I needed to jumpstart my strength training after being out of the gym for a looooong time, and the efficiency of the 20 minute workouts really attracted me. Alexa and Allison are amazing coaches; both are knowledgeable, experienced, and provide the assertiveness that I want in a coach. It’s nice to just show up and not have to think about what exercises I’m going to do or what weight to lift at. The workouts are legit! The location is very convenient, the gym is clean and the app makes scheduling sessions super easy. For anyone considering a new strength training program, try the two complimentary sessions and see if it’s for you.

If you have been stuck behind a desk for 15, 20, 30, 40 years, and wondering where to go to get back into shape, The Exercise Coach-Shadyside/Mt. Lebanon is THE place to start and THE place to go. Terrific people, great program, one-on-one attention; encouraging not intimidating. They make it very easy to stay motivated. Truly for every body. I can't say enough good things.

I love love love The Exercise Coach in Shadyside. I hate to get hot, sweat, and I typically never felt well when I worked out so I had never stayed with any routine more than a two or three weeks.
I was very skeptical when I saw their ads and even after my first complimentary visit I walked away thinking "This isn't going to do anything"...the next morning I woke up sore and after my second complimentary session, I got hooked.
I typically go between client sessions dressed in business casual and do the workout in my bare-feet. Twenty minutes later, I'm out the door and headed back to the office. I have lost 14 inches and gone down three dress sizes in the six months I've been going and never broke out into a sweat or got overheated!

I just had my 11th training session today, and I'm loving how I am feeling after a little over 1 month! I am a 57 year old female worried about muscle loss. I am gaining muscle now every week. I'm feeling stronger, sturdier, and more balanced overall. I love the one-on-one training sessions. Each one builds upon my personal results from the previous session. I feel challenged, strong, and self confident. I will recommend to anyone. It's pricey, but worth it!
