Om Lounge is simply the best yoga studio if you are looking for a challenging but fun yoga workout and to expand your yoga practice. I started going here on ClassPass this past October and fell in love with how rejuvenating the classes are. I am moving soon and didn't want to leave Pittsburgh without sharing how great my experience has been there!

When they started running a special for ClassPass members to buy the membership through Om Lounge instead, I jumped on the opportunity. They were so accommodating and worked with me to find a class package that worked for my budget and yoga needs.

I love their vinyasa flow classes and their sculpt classes and love how these different classes offer a variety of workouts depending on if I want a more traditional yoga flow or a more challenging sculpt classes. The teachers here are real professionals, and I have never taken a bad class. Their classes are truly an all-levels class, and I've never felt intimidated. The teachers do a great job ensuring that everyone gets a judgment-free workout. I've truly been able to push myself without embarrassment in the classes here.

The atmosphere is top tier, and I feel like I'm stepping into a cozy oasis when I come here. I highly recommend Om Lounge for anyone interested in yoga!

Amazing atmosphere and great team! I’ve already gone to a few classes but they certainly aren’t even close to being my last classes here ! Love this studio :)

Despite being on the 1month unlimited explore package for which I paid $134, their late cancel policy and missed class fee is ridiculous $20, sometimes charged wrongly even if I did make it to last few classes. They will charge you at any time. I will be canceling the remaining classes. Also their website can be glitchy tough to sign up or cancel, sometimes you get double booked.

Edit: In response to your comment, you certainly know how to twist facts to suit your needs and to make yourself look like you are right and the customer is wrong. I was late on 3 occasions all within 5 minutes. Not my fault if I'm just waiting outside and the door is locked and no one is available to check me in because 3-4 minutes late. I already paid for the Monday's missed class (jul 29) as it showed up on my account right before Wednesday's class so you were double charging me today again.

I have been interested in getting into a yoga practice, but to be completely honest, have been turned off at a couple of local studios where everyone already felt advanced and the instructors didn’t feel especially interested in helping beginners get off the ground. This time I arrived with the added challenge of being a few months into recovery from a major accident, yet wanting to challenge myself. This is hands-down the most welcoming yoga studio I have visited to date. Stephanie took the time to show me around, from the prop room, with explanations of how each could help during class, to a relaxing room with a selection of personal care products if someone is going straight from, say, yoga class to brunch downstairs at Kaya. The namesake lounge when you enter is beautifully decorated, relaxing and a place where people gather before or after class. It’s clear that there is a sense of community and friendship here. It’s a beautiful space with lots of exposed brick and that industrial Strip District feel.

As for class, I went on Sunday morning and it was full! A great way to start the week. I really liked their Vinyasa Krama method of adding pieces to the sequence so that by the time it starts to flow, you’ve seen it all before and nothing feels overwhelming. You also have a sense of whether you needed to modify anything to suit your particular needs along the way and what worked for you, so that you can do the same throughout the flow. I have never been to a yoga studio that felt so genuinely welcoming and happy to meet everyone just where they are, whether that’s the most basic beginner or someone who wants to push the edges of their capabilities. Lots of diversity among class participants shows you this is a place that is welcoming and inclusive. Just come as you are with an open mind and ready to work on whatever you hope to get from your practice. I will be back!

Best yoga studio in the city. Every instructor is kind and welcoming. Sculpt is one of the best classes in the city as well but every yoga class I attend is phenomenal.

I have tried a variety of classes at Om Lounge Yoga and love them in their own ways! Yoga sculpt was super fun for getting a good sweat in and the other are great for mind and body connection. The studio is very welcoming and you can feel the positive energy. If you are interested in seeing videos from the classes check out my reels on @alaina_wodarek !

I’ve practiced yoga for nearly 20 years at over 200 studios internationally. The Om Lounge is in a league of its own. While recovering from a disabling injury a few years ago, I decided to try a new studio in my neighborhood, The Om Lounge. When I walked in the door, I felt immediately at home. It is the most welcoming community of talented teachers lead by the heart and soul of the Founder and Owner. Every single class is thoughtfully designed to work with every body, while you become in-tune with your own body. That is the essence of yoga. Since joining two years ago, I’ve attended 25-30 yoga classes per month at The Om Lounge. I’ve watched how new students are treated when they enter the studio. Teachers and staff guide them through the studio and ask questions to set expectations for a meaningful and safe practice. Teachers always offer modifications for poses and flows to make yoga accessible to everyone. They also encourage students to find modification on their own because no one knows what is happening in someone else’s body. That seems like a pretty obvious statement to most mentally competent adults. Segue to next paragraph….

I never write public reviews. I was inspired to write this one because of a recent review by a new student claiming to be a disabled fitness instructor. It was a bizarre attack on a studio beloved by the Pittsburgh yoga community. I was in class with this student. I saw her strange behavior and I observed her interaction with the teacher and staff. She made other students feel uncomfortable. Her review is more than inaccurate, it’s dangerous nonsense. Claiming that people could be harmed by attending an Om Lounge class is the furthest thing from reality. The Om Lounge was my recovery and my physical therapy. I’ve watched countless students experience similar physical triumphs at the studio. I’ve watched the owner devote time, attention and genuine care for every student in her classes. Please do not allow the nonsensical ramblings of one odd person dissuade you from experiencing this incredible studio. Just read all of the other reviews.

I would give zero stars if possible. As a new student who bought a package I followed the instructions to arrive early. I had assumed I would be shown around the studio, asked about fitness level, yoga experience, injuries etc - especially given that new students are told to be there 15 minutes early. I arrived and said that I was new. No one asked about injuries or showed me around. I didn’t know where to find the equipment or put my stuff.

I have taught a number of fitness modalities in group fitness settings and it’s not rocket science so I figured out where to go and what to do.

When the instructor finally came into class she didn’t ask if anyone was new or had injuries. Once she got into the room I recognized her as the woman chatting in the lobby. Class was whatever. It was fine. It wasn’t very challenging or athletic like I’d expected but it was fine. And this isn’t a complaint about the class. The end of class was a goofy running/jumping/dancing/make the rain go away thing and while that’s a million percent never my vibe, I was surprised that there was any impact involved at all because typically fitness studios mention that bc it’s vitally important to know ahead of time specifically if there’s impact bc some people can’t handle it at all. I have two torn ACLs but do Pilates, strength training, lifting, boxing, solidcore, and spinning so my fitness level is high but I always check a class description for impact - the description for the class (yoga sculpt) mentions Pilates (cool - I’m a Pilates instructor!) and cardio - but those things do not equal impact. When the class was supposed to be over at 10 the other students were still running and skipping - I was just sitting on my mat bc no modifications were offered. Then I left at 10:06 or so bc class was supposed to be over at 10 and it’s a weekday morning.

I became a fitness instructor bc of my own experiences feeling excluded and intimidated and unwelcome in fitness spaces. After thousands of hours of training and teaching, Om lounge took me right back to the bad old days of feeling out of place and unwelcome and when I emailed the owner who was also the instructor and offered a non apology apology about being understaffed, “other people like it” “it doesn’t usually run long” “having these limitations must be hard for you but I can’t tailor every class individually”

She tried very hard to apologize but couldn’t help to add a lot of blame shifting - to her staff and to me.

If I had a disability or a limitation I was embarrassed by or if I hadn’t been in a fitness space in awhile and finally worked up the courage to go to a class and this were my experience I’d be home with big hurt feelings and feeling like I didn’t belong. How many people does that happen to? Who don’t even send the first email? (God forbid they do and get the response I got)

Om is apparently very popular. I just can’t help but think of how many more people would be harmed by the experience I had today.

I'm usually not one to write reviews on things that I like or don't like, but after taking a class with Emily at 5:45 on Wednesdays, I felt like I owed it to her. Emily is probably the best teacher I've had. I struggle to find a class that is a good balance of workout, complex poses, meditation, and good energy-- and her class is exactly that. She seriously knows what she is doing and I love that she starts each class with an intention, it makes class focused and gives you a new take on yoga each week. As an aspiring yoga teacher I have learned so much from her about sequencing, intention, and alignment in the last like 3 weeks I've showed up to class. Thanks Emily!!!!

Loved Suzanne's instruction and playlist. There's a special right now ending in February for unlimited classes within a 60 day window that I'm definitely considering.

Visited PGH as a digital nomad from CMH. Took 2 evening classes to keep up with my practice. Both sessions were great, Paige and Lauren. I recommend to any visitor wanting a drop-in session(s) to get your flow on. Great location, friendly peeps, calm environment, and no ego’s. Cheers.

I've been attending classes at the Om Lounge for a while now, and I typically go to their East Liberty studio because it is a shorter commute for me. However, a handful of recent workshops at their Strip District location finally gave me the motivation I needed to visit for the first time. This space is just as beautiful as the original studio, and many of my favorite instructors from East Liberty also teach here too, in addition to many others that I'm excited to eventually practice with for the first time! It also doesn't hurt that I can walk out of class and be in the middle of all the fun that the Strip District has to offer!

I highly recommend taking a class at the OM Lounge in the Strip District. The studio is absolutely gorgeous with the perfect mixture of edgy, calm and spiritual. All of the teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. After only going to a few classes, I was greeted by name and they do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. The way the classes are structured make them suitable for all levels from beginner to expert. Each teacher has their own vibe but the classes follow the same structure so you will gain familiarity with the direction of your flow that is different every time with challenges and surprises along the way.

This space is absolutely amazing. There is something truly spiritual about practicing in this space, from the second you walk through the barn doors you feel like you are in another world. The classes are always different, creative and fun. This is hands down the best studio group in Pittsburgh.

I went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed my class with Rebeka. I'm working through some injuries and felt much better after the class and appreciated the modified movements. Very relaxing space too.

Not only is this space absolutely GORGEOUS, the perfect mix of industrial and zen, but the entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. Quick to greet you, remember your name and assist with any issues or concerns you might have.

I first started practicing at the East Liberty location and when The Strip opened, closer to my home, I was ecstatic!

When I moved into the city I was searching tirelessly for a new yoga studio and then I discovered The Om Lounge. The style of yoga that The Om Lounge offers is unlikely any other that I’ve taken in Pittsburgh and I’ve taken A LOT. It is hands down my favorite place to practice. Every class I have ever taken there with every teacher has given me exactly what I’ve needed - the perfect mix of a workout and meditation.

I would highly recommend checking out all the various instructors, both studio locations and their kick a** workshops!

Om Lounge’s Strip District location is beyond beautiful and provides top-notch Vinyasa Krama yoga. To start, the space is warm and inviting - just the type of vibe you want for a yummy Vinyasa class (there’s even a tea station in the lobby!). I took Tai’s Wednesday 7pm class and he is simply divine. His presence is nothing short of entrancing and he led us through a very creative and well-thought-out flow with options for every experience level.
