I absolutely love The Om Lounge! They provide complimentary water and tea, which is a nice touch before or after a relaxing session. The waiting room is stunning—beautifully designed and filled with sunlight, making it a perfect place to unwind before class.
They also have a great sales rack with a variety of yoga gear and apparel, and if you ever forget your own equipment, they have mats and blocks available to borrow. The instructors here are truly amazing—knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about yoga.
If you’re looking for a welcoming and serene place to practice yoga, The Om Lounge is the perfect spot!

I have been an on and off patron for many years. I have always loved this studio. However today I had a very bad experience with the owner Patti. I misread the schedule so I showed up for a community yoga class when there was not one scheduled. I must have walked in on a private teacher training by mistake. The owner came out and said “are you supposed to be here?”. I said I am sorry I must have missed the schedule. She replied the community yoga says TBA on the website. Honestly she was borerline hostile. I felt totally ashamed for making a mistake. I will absolutely never visit this studio again! Patti you really need to treat your customers with more respect and decency.

Great class enjoyed Paige's instruction (a bit of flow and a bit of core strengthening and toning which was nice) and would definitely return. The music during class was new for me and a bit off putting but I did enjoy the meditative sound and bowl ding at the end of class.

This is a beautiful space and overall a nice yoga studio. I think the class I took was not what I had hoped for, and the teacher was very nice but overall the class that was taught did not meet my expectations.
I think it’d be nice for the studio to audit their teachers classes and give some feedback just to keep up the quality of the classes. The flow felt disjointed and the teacher spoke extremely fast and colloquially, which didn’t seem to match the tone of the space or the tone of Om.
Having music with lyrics added to the chaos, so I’d recommend: a) music without lyrics, or b) prompts but less talking. I loved some of the songs, but when songs with lyrics are used, the teacher isn’t talking over but simply guiding through a prompt or letting the students flow on their own for a period of time.
I have taken yoga for 15 years and I followed the flow and adjusted as needed, but because of the way the flow was structured, I saw many other students potentially injuring themselves. I’d recommend simplifying the flow and focusing on balance, focus, and making sure the students are able to integrate the poses in a way that protects them from injury.
This is all personal preference and only my opinion, but it was not a class I would want to come back to. I wished there could have been a more intentional warmup and cooldown, and overall led in a way that is clear and sacred rather than frantic and casual, as I left the class feeling a bit less zen than hoped. (I’m not saying it needs to be extremely spiritual, but the calming music before class was in contrast to the class itself.) It came off more like an exercise class than a yoga class, and I think with some feedback and improvement, it would benefit the yoga community and this space.

Not going to lie, I decided to try yoga on a whim. Om Lounge has a studio in the strip district a block from work and I had a yoga mat laying around, so I said meh why not? Im roughly 30 days in to taking yoga practically everyday at both studios and I really enjoy it. It’s a new, different kind of challenge for me. It’s definitely not easy, and I come out of it drenched in sweat but I love the challenge. I really appreciate how the instructors somehow know my name even if I’ve only taken one class with them. It’s impressive lol. Im also a fan of being able to completely fail at trying a pose and being able to laugh it off and try again. I’ve taken, and continue to take from a variety of coaches, but so far I’ve really enjoyed morning classes with Olivia! I’m always mind blown when the instructors demonstrate challenging poses with ease and then think “yeah I can do that” psshh nope lol.
Anyways, if you can come to class with a smile and an open mind… this is the place to be. :) You can literally show up with nothing, they have rental mats, props, everything you need. You just have to bring a good attitude and try it out.

I took a class in the Strip District and when I arrived the space was beautiful and inviting. Everyone attending the class and the teacher were welcoming. I enjoyed the class itself and got in one heck of a workout. The only drawback for me was that it was quite hot in the studio. I'm going to try another class because I really want to love this studio.

Tried an initial class at a few different yoga studios in the area and liked the Om Lounge the best! The staff is welcoming and the studio is really nice and calming. They also have $5 classes on Thursday evenings (at the East Liberty location) for non-members.

The Amansala Retreat was hands down the BEST experience! Traveling to a beautiful resort in Mexico with such an incredible tight-knit community is something I cannot put into words. I feel lighter in a lot of different ways after making so many connections with teachers and students. The OM Lounge is consistently holding space for us whether it be n Pittsburgh or at the beach in Tulum!

Such a beautiful and welcoming community…I’m new to Yoga and occasionally have zero idea what I’m doing which in the past has made me uncomfortable and not return to other studios. However here it’s actually one of the rules that they have up on the wall here so it’s completely okay. I love the Sunday morning start to the week class.

I'd been bopping around Pittsburgh yoga studios for a few years before finding Om. The atmosphere is so welcoming and positive from your very first class. Instructors are encouraging and do a fantastic job of creating a yogi community. If you're looking for a no judgement yoga studio that still works you out try Om!

This place is good. You should go here. Have been going here for almost a year. They have some great teachers like Carla, Olivia, Suzanne, and Timmy(I’m sure there are other good teachers). The classes can be a little inconsistent if you don’t go to a class where you know the teacher is really good. I suggest going to a few classes and get to know the teachers and figure out what style is right for you. Summers are a little hot inside the east liberty studio and as a guy who can’t stand excessive heat, I find it a little uncomfortable. Overall great place, ask about their cancellation policy as it might be a deal breaker for you (other places like Ascend have a 15min notice policy, Om lounge is 12 hours last I checked).

I started with Om lounge 2 years ago. I was recommended Om lounge by my sister who was a student of Suzzane (the owner). It started as rehab for me due to an injury from CrossFit.I started with taking one class per week to 5-6 times a week now. A lot of people think yoga is not intense and I want to change that notion.I have been doing CrossFit 4-5 years now and I feel the classes at Om are as intense as CrossFit or even more on some days. Each of the teachers at Om lounge create such a unique experience/flow with their classes that encompasses mindfulness, mobility and strength. Yoga has grown in me since I started with Om and it continuous to have a positive impact in my life. Everyday, I look forward to being at Om and sharing space with so many amazing omies. Om is filled with such incredible vibe and energy that you feel you are never alone and always part of the community.
I can’t thank Suzzane enough for bringing this community and yoga practice into my life.
Highly recommend this place!

I cannot recommend the Om Lounge enough!! Such a welcoming vibe for everyone, along with a beautiful studio and lobby area! So many awesome teachers, all with their own unique teaching styles and consistently great classes. They also have a variety of workshops available that give opportunities to try expand your practice.
During COVID, they were quick to adjust by creating an incredible online platform, outdoor classes during the warm weather, and in-studio classes (when permitted) with every safety precaution you could think of! Couldn't ask for more in a yoga studio!

In the midst of covid chaos in Pittsburgh, this studio has served as a refuge for normalcy and peace. Suzanne has curated a wonderful team of instructors who all bring unique gifts to the table. The studio is spacious and equipped with large windows that allow fresh air to flow during practice. Capacity is limited so that our mats have plenty of space in between. Temp checks and masks are enforced upon entry (which I appreciate), but on the mat we flow and BREATHE.

This studio is wonderful. There are so many great teachers and a variety of classes available – I’ve been going to Om for a few months and I am still finding new teachers, learning new poses and postures, and enjoying every minute of it. This is what yoga is all about. I’ve tried a few other Pittsburgh studios before finding Om and everything about this place is such a breath of fresh air.
They offer a lot of classes throughout the week – something for everyone - and offer special workshops on occasion. The space is clean, cozy, and radiates positive energy.
This studio definitely feeds my soul and kick my butt every time.

A refreshingly unique yoga studio. The space is simple, intimate, welcoming; the teachers creative and gregarious; the classes rigorous, though without overbearing heat. The time and energy instructors spend designing their classes is evident, as is the Om Lounge's effort to cultivate an environment that fosters mindfulness, learning, and community. Highly recommend.

Om Lounge is exactly what Pittsburgh needed!! Unique, challenging and fun flows without excessive heat! They have assembled a killer group of instructors who are passionate about yoga and go the extra mile to ensure the classes honor the spirituality of the practice while still being physically challenging. It’s the perfect balance of everything a yoga studio should be. Oh, and great music too! I cannot recommend this studio highly enough!
