I wish I found this gym sooner. Great place for Strongman training. Strongman Saturdays are a lot of fun. Very customizable memberships, including programming for any competition. Always great communication too.

I’ve been working with Sam for several months now. Health goals were my primary motivation and I had tried working with another trainer which unfortunately caused an injury. Sam met me where I was in terms of physical capability and has designed programming that is both challenging and fun. I enjoy my sessions with her and can honestly see results in my body, strength and how I feel overall.

Training with Jess has been an incredible experience. I was new to powerlifting and strength training and we dived right in after discussing my goals and worries about injury. Jess patiently showed me how to do the major movements while keeping in mind my chronic pain from an old injury. I have avoided new injuries and pain flareups thanks to her guidance and have also developed noticeable strength that has translated over to my yoga practice. Best of all, Jess encouraged me to participate in a powerlifting meet earlier this year. Before working with her, I would NEVER have imagined myself to participate in an event like that. It was such an exhilarating and confidence-boosting experience-- I set two personal records during the event and it also motivated me to work out in between training sessions. So grateful to Jess for her supportive, skilled and fun coaching style!

Gyms scared me until I joined Power Plant. I’m a complete gym newbie with lots of gym anxiety but I knew I wanted to start feeling better about myself…and that’s where Power Plant came in. After meeting Katie I knew it was the perfect place for me, and I was not wrong. My confidence has grown so much in just a few weeks , and I actually look forward to working out. Everyone, from the coaches to the clients, makes you feel like you belong and can do anything!

I just finished week 5 of the Power Plant Gym LIFT (semi private training) program. I'm 50 and I neglected my body with competitive cycling for years. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should strength train, but if you are 40+, you MUST. It will pay huge dividends to the quality of your life. It's the best anti-aging drug available. Research Dr. Andrew Huberman and Dr. Peter Attia, to name a couple. What makes this gym a gem is the coaching staff and the members. It's very much a community and this community supports and encourages you to give all of yourself. The members themselves are supportive too and complete this family-like atmosphere. The equipment and space is excellent. My personal criticism is the 30 min drive it takes me to get there. Yet, I do it, because there is nothing better than the Power Plant Gym.

From the first moment I walked into PPG, I felt that perfect mix of "comfortable" and "challenged" that every gym should evoke, but rarely does. I felt accepted for where I was in my fitness journey (not very far!) and also encouraged that I could meet my strength/wellness goals. The owner, Katie, is a powerful person inside and out, and she conveys that in a way that's inspiring (not intimidating). She and the coaches all get to know each person's goals, progress, and challenges down to the littlest detail. They craft your routine and watch carefully as you execute it so that you get outstanding feedback during every session. They also manage to foster a supportive and inclusive community that makes the whole experience feel empowering and enjoyable. I would honestly not change anything about Power Plant Gym!

PPG is amazing. I started working out there before COVID and the community/workouts saved my sanity and health during COVID. Now I use online coaching since I moved across the country and still love it. Katie even structured my training around a bad injury to get me back to normal in a smart and sustainable way. Whether you are local, need online guidance, or want an awesome strongman competition; this is your place.

I have been training at Power Plant Gym for over 2 years, it has been a wonderful experience. I train here about 3 times a week in their semi-private training LIFT program. I find the consistent, knowledgeable and professional trainers a powerful resource to my program. The facilities including location, equipment and awesome music make it a pleasant place to train. Mostly, the community of members create a positive and motivating workout environment. I love that they provide flexible class schedules and open gym, plenty of parking and most importantly the same group of quality trainers who push you in the right way. It’s a hard workout with happy people! And I am seeing results for sure. Increased strength, improved flexibility and no injuries. I highly recommend Power Plant Gym.

I cannot say enough about how great the Power Plant Gym is. After years of knowing about Katie through the local powerlfiting scene and being curious about Strongman, I found myself in summer of 2020 with a mishmash of lifting equipment in my garage, no plan, and knowing I needed someone to help me. I wanted to feel better in my body, get strong again, and find some great people to spend time with.
I hit the jackpot.
If you want to meet your goals, PPG is the place for you. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and they have many options to help you out - no matter your starting point. Brand new beginner? Have some experience? Pro strongman? They got you.
The small group training (LIFT) is fantastic- you get to work and build strength, hang with cool people, and get just enough coaching to help you progress faster than by yourself.
Strongman Saturday is the funnest place to get strong and learn new skills. You can do it! Seriously! Nothing feels cooler than pulling a truck, I promise.
The coaches want nothing more than to help you meet your goals, and if something is beyond their skillset, they will tap into their network to help. I was dealing with some chronic pain and they referred me to a Physical Therapist. I started lifting somewhere else with more specialized machines, and we created an online program (PPG + PT) that kept me lifting and progressing, while getting the right Physical therapy I needed to be pain free.
This is the gym you're looking for.

I joined Power Plant Gym because I knew that women need to lift weights in order to stay healthy as they get older, and I couldn't get motivated to do it by myself. The staff is amazing, always super supportive and body positive. They have worked with me to create a program that keeps me motivated and meets me where I am. The members here really feel like family. I have been a member for years now, and belonging to this gym has changed my life in so many positive ways, I feel really lucky to have found it.

Power Plant is an awesome gym with amazing people! I started at the gym coming to the strongman Saturdays the coaches and atmosphere were so welcoming and everyone there is so supportive and motivating. I did not know much of strongman lifts but coaches Katie, Brian, Zach, and Kelly were so helpful and gave great instruction and cues. The crew on Saturdays are a lot of fun and everyone is just supporting everyone. I have since started with power plant strongman programming and have seen my lifting improve even that much more. It’s super convenient because I can do the workouts at home or at the gym. They provide great feedback and I feel like I am constantly progressing. I am really thankful I found such a great place to train.

First experience with a power lifting gym, and it has been AMAZING! I came knowing very little and everyone from the trainers to the members has been super helpful, positive, encouraging. I have been going for 8 months, this is probably my most consistent streak of strength and fitness programming ever. My program is tailored towards my goals and the coaches are really awesome at teaching/improving technique, tapping into your motivation and helping you build confidence.
Overall, eclectic, supportive fitness community with good vibes. Would highly recommend for athletes and lifters of all levels looking to learn and get get stronger!

I started my powerlifting journey at Power Plant Gym in Aston a year ago and I could not have imagined back then what a great, life changing choice I had made. Aside from great equipment for lifting and Strongman, Katie Feeley (the owner) also puts a lot of work into creating a positive gym culture. We're more than a gym, we're a community. Aside from training together and supporting each other while working towards competitions and personal goals, there are ample social opportunities such: as our annual Chili Cook-off, Yoga & Mimosas, impromptu pizza parties, Phillies games, volunteer opportunities with the surrounding community, fundraising opportunities for the Special Olympics Powerlifting team, and more! I'm also proud of how inclusive we are and it's really environment that's united by a passion for lifting heavy things and encouraging each other.
I should also mention the coaching has been great! My coaches, Katie and Aaron Schott, really understand movement and are great at giving corrections in a way that not only explains how but WHY. The plans incorporate accessory exercises that support the kind of strength gains where you need it for your main lifts. I've made huge gains this year and I know with their direction I will eventually reach my goal of being able to caber toss my enemies. :)

Almost a year ago, I got sick.
I got sick of looking in the mirror and wishing things looked different.
I got sick of doing the same things at the gym and not seeing any results.
I got sick of trying new things only to get hurt and have to start all over again.
I got sick of being myself.
It was hard. I didn’t feel good about myself. I didn’t feel confident. I didn’t feel strong. I felt lost. That’s when I decided to invest in myself and join Power Plant Gym.
I didn’t have any real expectations going in. I knew I wanted change that I was struggling to achieve at the YMCA. I knew I wanted to get stronger. But most of all, I knew I couldn’t do it alone.
From Day 1 at Power Plant Gym, I haven’t been alone. Every time I step into that gym there’s someone in my corner, whether it’s a fellow member offering a spot or a coach helping with my technique. I’ve never felt more supported in a gym. And I’ve never had such amazing gains in strength, mobility and confidence.
Three days a week I wake up at 5am, get dressed, eat a light snack, drink some pre-workout, and drive to the gym in the dark. Some days the lifts are easier. Some days the lifts are harder. But I’ve learned the hardest lift of all is lifting your butt off the couch and getting started.
Success starts with self-discipline. And because I’ve invested in myself and the LIFt program at Power Plant, I continue to show up every week. Three days a week. Four, now that I started joining their Strongman Saturdays too. Don’t have time? I used to blame that excuse as well. But a one hour workout is 4% of your day and making excuses burns zero calories per hour.
As I’ve learned over the 40 plus weeks of showing up and putting in the work at Power Plant Gym, your body can stand almost anything. It’s your mind that you have to convince. And when you do, your progress has no limits. I’m not doing this to win any contests, prizes or awards. I’m doing this for me. I strive for progress every day, not perfection. And I’ve got an amazing support system at Power Plant Gym to help my on my journey.
We cannot start over. But we can begin now and make a new ending. Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

This place is more than just a gym- it is a tight knit lifting community that is welcoming of newcomers striving to be the best version of themselves. Their coaches are the most technical and helpful I've encountered in my 20+ years of lifting weights- from general health & conditioning to powerlifting/weightlifting/strongman/crossfit, they are experienced and professional at helping you define and achieve your goals. They also organize trips to watch the Phillies, friendly cook off competitions, and other ways to engage with new friends inside and outside of the gym.

I would of never expected to find such an awesome diverse gym nestled in an industrial park, geared toward exactly what I was looking for!! The community is welcoming and friendly here. There's a range of equipment here for Crossfit, Strongman, Weightlifting, and Bodybuilding. My favorite part is that they are open all day so I can drop in to pump some iron on my own schedule.
