I’ve been working out at Summit for about a month. I wanted a personal trainer because I needed guidance and accountability to reach my fitness goals and to ensure I was working out safely and effectively. I chose The Summit because of its welcoming atmosphere, excellent facilities, and reputation for knowledgeable trainers. My sessions with Trevor have been challenging but incredibly rewarding each workout is tailored to my goals, and my trainer makes sure I’m progressing while keeping everything fun and motivating. I would absolutely recommend The Summit to anyone looking to improve their fitness and work with a team that truly supports your journey.

When I started on my weight loss and getting more healthy journey in March 2025, I wanted to get a baseline - so sought out The Summit to get an InBody analysis. I was impressed with the space on Washington Square- and decided to try a Personal Trainer. I’ve been working with Trevor twice a week, and I can see and feel the difference, and the InBody scans have definitively shown I’m gaining muscle and losing fat!
The equipment is new, and I like that I’ve got Trevor’s undivided attention, and we are the only ones there.
They have also been flexible in doubling up appointments when I’ve traveled - so that I get in all of my paid appointments for the month.
Definitely recommend!

I’ve been seeing Trevor at Summit Washington Square since June. It’s been a great experience for me. He’s helped me focus on building strength. It’s been a good level of challenge- not too hard but certainly not easy!

I started personal training with Marshall in December and there's no going back. I wanted to get into shape and he is helping me to do so at a safe and steady pace in a private 1:1 setting with appointment times that are perfect for my schedule. I have become significantly stronger over the last eight months and have already noticed physical changes. The Summit and Marshall are stuck with me forever.

Can’t recommend Summit Washington Square for personal training enough. Great location; personable, experienced and knowledgeable trainers; well equipped and clean facility; and easy to use app and scheduling process. Trevor is an especially great trainer, who is clearly knowledgeable and skilled at working with many different skill and fitness levels. Highly recommend!

Summit Washington Square has great personal training offerings, in a convenient location, close to work for anyone in and around Old City and Washington Square. The space inside is clean, well equipped, and always ready for workouts. Additionally, Trevor is an exceptional trainer, with a wealth of experience and strong background working with athletes and individuals interested in taking their fitness to the next level in general. Can’t recommend Summit and Trevor enough.

I highly recommend coming to the Summit if you’re looking for personal training! Everything there is new and kept very clean! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and truly provide a personalized workout experience. I’ve been working with Trevor Nation, and he has really helped me achieve my goals! I feel stronger, I feel better, and I feel happier! Working out can feel very daunting, but trainers like Trevor make it an easy experience! Definitely recommend coming to the Summit and working with Trevor!

As a beginner with little experience in training, I was a bit nervous starting at The Summit, but Marshall made me feel completely at ease. I don’t have much strength, and a lot of training can feel overwhelming, but Marshall tailored everything to my level and flexibly adjusted my workouts as needed. The studio is always clean, and I love that it's 1:1 training —perfect for someone like me who feels uneasy in big gyms. Brian, the owner, is really kind and approachable, making it a comfortable place to train. If you’re new to fitness or looking for a more personal and supportive environment, I highly recommend Marshall and The Summit!!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at The Summit. I always felt that my goals and needs were well understood and respected. They are very flexible and accommodating to help find times that work for your schedule. I had the pleasure of working with Joe as my trainer. Joe did not simply create workouts or a workout program to help me reach my goal but he took the time to understand what additional exercises my body needed to be strong and successful. You can tell that Joe is trained in exercise science in the way he understands how the body is working together so a weakness in one area can impact your success. He would create the right modifications for me and even incorporate small physical therapy movements. I highly recommend Joe and Summit if you want personalized attention for your body to meet your needs and do not want simply a workout program that could be used for any one.

I completed six 1:1 sessions with Marshall at Washington Square during a short stay in Center City Philly. Would highly recommend him and The Summit. I first met with Brian, the owner, to go over objectives. On my first session with Marshall, I was so impressed with how he crafted the program to complement with my other fitness activities, in particular tennis. He is a gifted trainer. The faciliities are top-notch as well. Wish I was in the area longer.

Marshall is great. He’s been very knowledge and addresses any concerns I have. I specially have a chronic herniated disc and he makes sure we are working on things to improve my overall strength and wellbeing, while being mindful of any conditions I may have and working around them.

I highly recommend the Summit at Washington Square. This is a brand new location, very conveniently located right on the square, and is very bright and clean. Most importantly, the personal training is excellent. Juliana, who I work with, is extremely professional but also very encouraging. She did a thorough assessment, and then worked with me to set a customized workout plan, which is updated frequently, and even gave me customized plans for at-home workouts at no additional cost. And she makes working out fun- I actually look forward to it rather than dreading it. I am amazed by the improvement in strength and conditioning I have made in just six short weeks. Finally, I believe it is well worth the cost, since all their trainers are highly knowledgeable and qualified, and are careful in pushing you, but doing so safely and in ways that minimize injuries. Highly recommend!
