I am moving away from the city, and I can genuinely say, T&N is the thing I will miss the most. From the first time I came in, everyone, from the trainers to the other ladies working out, made me feel welcome.
I trained with Julianna, who is truly one of a kind, and has had such a positive impact on my fitness journey, both in and out of the studio. Training here has empowered me to become more confident, and transformed me into a version of myself I didn’t know I could be.

This is exactly what I needed to get the confidence to start going to the gym. My personal trainer Julia made the exercise fun and answered all of my questions. I feel like all exercises were tailored to the goals stablished in the beginning. I’ve been working with Hannah for 8 sessions now and have had a really positive experience coming to this gym! This was my first time signing up for a personal trainer and Hannah did a great job assessing my current fitness level and curating a training program each session for me that was just the right amount of challenge (and novelty!) The environment itself is also very clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
I’ve also been working with Karley in the Nourish Program for 6 sessions now and I deeply appreciate how holistic and compassionate her approach is in getting to know your personal relationship with nutrition and catering the program to my personal goals and struggles. It’s helped me so much in reframing a lot of mindsets I’ve had around food that I had never thought so deeply about before but the program.
Would absolutely recommend T&N to anyone else trying to develop their weight lifting skills and nutrition habits!

I love Train & Nourish! I decided to invest in training to support my hyper mobility over the summer. I’ve since noticed a lot of improvement with my strength and stability! I work with Alex who is super knowledgeable and uses a full body approach when creating my plans. She is super awesome, funny, and kind! Scheduling and communication is super easy. I recently started training at Train and Nourish with Brenna and have been loving it! Even though I’ve previously lifted and worked out plenty on my own, I’ve had a lot of trouble getting back into it consistently after a lower back issue. I love that I don’t have to think, everything is programmed for me, and Brenna is beyond sensitive to how I’m feeling and makes adjustments whenever necessary. As a Muslim girl, it’s really hard to find a women-only gym, so I feel lucky to have found T&N—especially since it’s close to my house. I love T&N! I’ve been going for about a year and a half and typically join weeknights with Brenna and weekends with Hannah. I love both of their personal approaches: Brenna for STRENGTH training and Hannah for full-body combo exercises. I’ve also taken classes with Julianna and enjoy her focus on strength, proper technique, and cool downs (lights off!). It’s great to meet other women in the neighborhood, and I’m always eager to hear their life updates. It’s a truly wonderful community! Highly recommend.

I attended three group classes (from the intro pack deal) and then switched to personal training once a week with Brenna (Art Museum location). I'm really grateful that I finally decided to take steps to improve my health/fitness and highly recommend Train & Nourish for all women, especially beginners. Brenna is super nice and flexible with her schedule. She also adapts my training to my fitness goals and ability level, encouraging me to push myself without going overboard.
I am extremely unfit (like, "unable to do a squat" unfit) and I've already improved within a month (ten squats, lol!). The once-a-week schedule is good because I can apply the exercises into my workouts in my apartment gym. During personal training, you will see other trainers/clients but everyone is extremely friendly and non-judgemental. T&N is especially good for people who feel self conscious in regular gyms.
The group classes are great and exhausting, but I think individualized personal training can help someone who truly has no clue what they're doing in the gym. One-on-one is helpful in correcting posture and learning how to use equipment safely without hurting yourself. As my fitness gradually improves and I become more confident, hopefully I will be able to transition into group classes and keep up with everyone else.

I had been doing strength training on my own without a lot of consistency or direction until I started working with Alex at T&N. She knows just the right amount to push to get me stronger. I feel better about my body and feel stronger.
I ran the fastest 10k this weekend I have in a long time- I truly credit this to my strength training.

I started my journey with T&N Fitness in July 2024. I had already stopped using my cane, but wasn't getting any stronger from just walking. My trainer, Alex, listened to what I wanted to accomplish, and my strength and mobility have greatly increased. At that time, I had a goal of wanting to help my family load and unload the car when we went on vacation at the shore. That was 2.5 months in, and I surprised everyone. Now, I'm able to more easily navigate uneven city sidewalks, curbs, and getting on and off city buses. And, it's all because of Alex. The atmosphere at T&N is welcoming and non-judgmental. They accept all female body types, abilities and ages. The trainers are knowledgeable, and will design exercise programs specific to your needs...and that challenge. I look forward to continuing my exercise journey with the ladies at T&N!

My experience has been 10 stars! I've become strong overall and am very proud of what I've accomplished with Anna's excellent coaching. With her close attention to form, I've learned how to recruit muscles I did not even know I had! I have balanced strength for the first time in my life. Anna also incorporates a little bit of "sneaky core" into most moves (which means a strong core and abs without crunches - yes!). The atmosphere is fun and you'll look forward to your workout!

Working with Julianna at Train and Nourish has truly changed my life! I have POTS and need personalized training depending on how I am feeling on a day-to-day basis. Julianna spent time with me to understand my limitations and my health and when it's appropriate to push me and help me improve. I love that this studio is for women because I have so much anxiety about going to the gym! Julianna ensures I understand WHY each workout will help me. She doesn't just make me do it; she educates me. I live in New Jersey and would rather drive 30 minutes and pay the toll to come to Train and Nourish than go to the gym 10 minutes down the road. During the peak of my seasonal depression, when I wanted to cancel and rot in bed, Julianna made sure that our workouts were consistent - I didn't have to think about it! She would push me if I said I "didn't feel like moving today." If I had to do this journey alone, I would've given up a long time ago. Julianna is compassionate, funny, and caring, putting her all into each client. I recommend this location to any of the women I encounter, especially those with some medical challenges to overcome.

I’ve been training for over 6 months and am definitely reaping the benefits of an improved state of physical well-being. I am stronger, more flexible, more balanced and have improved posture and endurance. I (and my physician) are quite pleased with my progress. I started at T&N about six months after having an emergency c section with post operative complications. I lost all of my core strength and thought I would never get back to normal again. I was nervous to start classes, but a year and a half later I feel stronger than I ever have in my life. All of the instructors at the art museum location have helped me learn new exercises and I feel comfortable using gym equipment now. I love how welcoming everyone in my classes are and I look forward to working out every week. I can’t recommend T&N enough, especially if you’re postpartum and looking to regain your strength!

I have always had trouble motivating myself to workout, and I often get turned off and discouraged by traditional gyms and the ‘bro’ mentality. T&N has turned that all around. When I started with this fitness center and signed up for personal training sessions, I really enjoyed it and loved my trainer Hannah. Unfortunately, this place has left a terrible impression on me. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and tried to freeze my account a month ago closer to my due date because I knew I would not be able to train in the postpartum period. The owner said she would not be able to freeze my account and explained that I should just cancel and rejoin later which I agreed to. Then I get charged again and essentially told I had 8 weeks to use my sessions! This is virtually impossible in my condition. I am truly sadden to hear a fitness center dedicated to women did not have any sort of pregnancy cause or exceptions. I would expect this behavior from a large corporate gym and not a small franchise. I agreed to their final payment but I will not be returning.

I chose T&N because I loved the focus on strength and the knowledge of how women’s bodies (particularly postpartum women) differ from men’s. I am super non-athletic and intimidated by gyms and have really appreciated the privacy and support of their setup. I’ve been training with Anna for about 8 months and she’s great - incredibly patient, knows when to push me, and makes me actually enjoy training!

I've been working with Anna for about a year now, and it's consistently a highlight of my week. I've been pregnant for 9 months of the year, and she's been awesome about creating workouts for me that challenge me, match where I am in my pregnancy, and fit my personal health and strength goals. I've also just had a lot of fun at the studio and really enjoy the culture of T&N overall. This gym is fantastic. It’s clean and modern, and it’s only women, so I actually feel comfortable working out here. My trainer Anna makes interesting workouts that are fun and dynamic and don’t feel as hard as they are. I’m injury prone and appreciate her knowledge and experience; she always has a modification available if I need it. I’ve also taken the group classes with Hannah and they are challenging but doable (and leave me sore lol). Can’t recommend this place enough.

Took the best class with Hannah yesterday. I was nervous bc it’s different from how I normally workout but Hannah was so attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable in the workout. Cannot recommend her class enough!! Also love that the gym is all women’s! Check it out!

I can't rave enough about the amazing experience I had at the all women's gym group session led by Hannah! From start to finish, it was nothing short of incredible. Hannah's energy and enthusiasm was infectious, making the entire workout feel like a breeze. Her expertise and guidance ensured that every movement was effective and safe. Took my first group class this week with Hannah, and it was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with each exercise, attentive to the details of form, and overall very motivating. Charley is the best trainer I’ve had. I’m encouraged to keep pushing my limits that I’ve set on myself. I am becoming stronger than I thought was possible. The more I push myself, the better I feel. Very pricey, but super effective! I love that it’s a women-only gym with a supportive environment, and that the workouts actually incorporate muscular strength (with heavy weights/machines) instead of just cardio and light weights like most women’s fitness classes do. I unfortunately had to quit after 5 months going 3x a week because I moved out of Philly, but out of all the gyms/fitness routines I’ve done, I definitely saw the most improvement with T&N. Also, a special shout-out to Charley; she’s the best! (And her fun stories and conversations distract you from the pain!!)
I finally started looking into gyms in my new city a couple weeks ago, but so far they’re just not the same as T&N!

I liked their strength training for women concept, so I signed up for a consultation, and that's when I met one of their trainers, Cat! Her friendliness and attentiveness in asking questions to understand my goals and objectives was an immediate success. I have been training with Cat for a few weeks now. She is super personable, knowledgeable, and pushes me at the right level. Her guidance and support in this journey have exceeded my expectations. The facility is in a perfect location and includes plenty of equipment for strength training. T&N is an ideal spot for one-on-one training sessions or small group classes.

This place is amazing! Every neighborhood needs a personal training experience like this. I feel so comfortable in the space (I love that the trainers are all female!). They're super flexible on session timing too. I have been going for two months and am seeing great results already - but I don't feel overwhelmed. Consistency is key, and this place will get you there. Charley Navasaitis is my trainer - and I am absolutely so grateful to know her as a person and get to benefit from her expertise and knowledge. Charley is especially great if you are working through a chronic illness - she is empathetic and innovative while always being safe. I can't say enough good things - highest recommendation.

Carly is an amazing trainer. She makes the classes go by so quickly with her excellent playlists and a lot of humor. I’ve never laughed and done high intensity training at the same time as much as I have in this class.
