Trainwell (formerly CoPilot) is ideal for people who have exercised before and know the right form to safely exercise but need an attentive coach, guide and accountability partner. You can pick your coach based on a selection of coach profiles. From what I hear, they are all well-qualified in fitness and nutrition coaching and very committed to this process. (Everyone commenting on the apps and social groups seems to love theirs as much as I love mine!) Mine has really listened to my goals and helped customize my app experience — checklist/exercise/wellness assignments, how frequently we touch base with messages (almost daily!), what kind of support works for me, and how often we do video checks. I lucked out as he’s such a great person and also fun! I receive more attention throughout the week than I’ve ever had with past personal trainers. The exercises are changed weekly and never get boring. He also adjusts the number of reps and intensity and the recovery time between each one. We prioritize free weights, body weight movement for balance and stability, and stretching and yoga. The app uses my coach’s voice so when each weight set or move is announced it’s like he’s there as I work out. We also check in and focus on things important to me — walking, nutrition and sleep habits. He added tasks to the app for me to check off as i love a checklist! But he’s also keeping me realistic with achievable goals. It’s more than just weight training and fitness, it’s about making healthy choices and finding balance. My coach has been personally invested in my wellness and it’s so encouraging! And it’s very affordable. It’s the motivation I need to stay consistent and enthusiastic about my health.

This app has changed my life. The transformation inside and out has been unbelievable. Nate's support, expertise, and personalized programs have been perfect for me. He has helped me through so much and as much as he likes to say it's all me, I couldn't have done any of this without him. Nothing has worked for me before this. I've tried nearly everything. Taking the chance on this, was the best thing I've ever done for myself.

I like a lot about it but I really wish there was a way to link a calorie counter app for the coach to access. I also think it would be great if it included themed video workouts in addition to the ones made my the coach. For example, an occasional dance cardio or kickboxing cardio workout if you want a break from the serious custom workouts. I like it overall though!

I love my trainer! I was able to choose the best one for me.
The app show you the moves and muscles you should be using so you can adjust.
I had to travel on one of the day of the workouts and was able to use one of the bonus workouts that I could do inside my hotel room, I feel it's been very successful for me!

Amazing. Nothing has ever got me to work out so consistently. The blend of technology and personal support and accountability from my coach is game changing. As someone in my late 40s having a trainer who can help me get and stay fit while also addressing mobility is really great. I also love that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do. I just follow the workouts and communicate to my coach if something was too hard, too easy etc and he adjusts the program accordingly. And every few weeks the program is adjusted to reflect my progress and it keep things intersecting. Great value for money. Highly recommend co-pilot.

Been a client for about a year. It's comforting to have a coach to bounce ideas off of and tailor a workout program. My coach and I came up with a strength routine to keep me honest and push me in ways that I don't push myself. Every couple months when the workout feels stale, I'll ask for a new one and boom, there it is. The app absolutely removes hurdles that keep me from doing my best.

As a person who has always hated working out, I can confidently say, CoPilot is a game changer. The app allows me to adapt my exercise to my life, not the other way around. If you've historically been an "all or nothing" fitness person, but nothing has ever stuck longer than a few weeks/months. Because you burn out? Give CoPilot a try. Accountability from a live coach, with progressive training, adapted to your personal goals, limitations, and preferences is incredible! Founders & developers are consistently making updates to improve functionality and UX based on feedback of the actual people using it - something sorely lacking on most platforms. There is real heart, community, and humanity behind this program.

I am so glad I discovered this program! My coach has customized my workout to push me, without me feeling like I am going to die, and since I started 3+ weeks ago I am stronger and my body shape is changing. If I can't make one of my scheduled workouts, she helps me reschedule so I get the workouts in I want during the week, so it is flexible, while still holding me accountable. She put in extra workouts, because I want to increase my flexibility, but since I have kids, I don't have large chunks of time, so the extras are 10-15 minutes. After our initial talk, we set the strength building workouts to 15-20 minutes because I was so out of shape, plus having a toddler doesn't allow for large chunks of time. This is a much better investment for me than a gym membership that I could easily ignore.

I've used CoPilot for several years now and it's excellent. You can work with your coach/trainer to customize how many workouts you want, how long they should me, what to target, and other things. It really helps by ensuring your workouts target your whole body and what you need. if you are involved in a sport, work with the coach to have the best exercises to supplement your sport.

I could not be more pleased with the app and my trainer, especially my trainer. We text daily, we’ve face timed a number of times, and he’s been responsive to my body situation. I’m 66 years old and he’s tailored my workouts as I’ve progressed, or sometimes regressed. Tremendous value for the money. Can’t recommend more highly.
