Transformation Training & Fitness (TTF) in Carlisle, PA delivers fast, effective 30-minute circuit workouts that combine strength, cardio, and functional movement for all fitness levels. This is a great gym. In many ways, this is my out-of-school replacement for being on the soccer team or cross country team when I was young.
You exercise with other people, so there is camaraderie.
The coaches plan the workouts so that every workout is a full body workout.
If working out as a team motivates you, this is the gym for you.

I love TTF. Kirk and Leslie provide daily challenging full body strength training 30 minute workouts. I love the community atmosphere and that a challenging workout is provided for me. I also love that it the workout is truly just you against you. You can modify every exercise to cater to injuries or your ability level. It is a fantastic gym for all ages and ability. I have been a member of TTF for well over a decade, and I can't imagine my life without it. It makes all the difference in the world to have a place with so many options for sessions to attend and the ability to just show up and know that I'm going to get a great (and totally different) workout every time without having to give any thought to what I'll be doing or how many. Last year my ultimate frisbee team won the national championship for my division and I owe my fitness level (at age 57) to TTF. If you're on the fence about joining, just give it a try. You'll be thankful that you did!

Caters to your workout needs! Need a quick workout that is challenging and directed so you don’t have to think about what you’ll be doing? They offer several 1/2 hour HIIT-like classes, combining body weight and weighted movements with cardio for a full body workout. Kirk, Leslie and the rest of team TTF do a great job of monitoring classes and keeping you on track.
Want more individualized training? How about the nutrition aspect? They offer that too. Their pricing is reasonable and competitive with other local gyms (and I’ve spent some time looking). Kirk is a great resource for knowledge in athletic training, and can create a workout that suits your needs, given the time and resources you have.
I’ve really enjoyed being part of both aspects of TTF. I currently use both their class work and personal training. The short, intense workout fits my schedule perfectly, and as an experienced gym-goer, I’m able to use my own home equipment for my strengthening focus that they provide a workout for. It’s the best of both worlds :).

I am so thankful for this gym!! I was a TTF member for many years and the I took a break and tried to do my own thing. However God had other things in mind, I had a mini stroke at thanksgiving (2024). I needed to re-implement a course of phyiscal therapy action. I LOVE-the workouts and the People are awesome. The workouts have helped me get back into the game of life. My dr approved my work outs along with my daily walking.

I’ve known the owner Kirk Ream more than 25 years. The life-changing, personalized, and empowering community that Kirk has created at TTF is a natural outgrowth of who he is as a human being. I’ve had the opportunity to personally visit and work out at all 3 progressions of the TTF Carslile locations over the years and the current space is by far the best. I was there in August and got a great workout in. The people were friendly, the workout variations were challenging, and the coaching was dynamic. If you are looking for a local gym home or are just in town for business, I would highly recommend stopping in to see Kirk!

I can not say enough good things about TTF. I have done other gyms in the past, but Kirk and his coaching staff make TTF just better. The workouts are varied so I do not get bored doing the same exercises. They explain each exercise before we do them and give us modifications in case anyone needs them. I have been going for almost a year now and I feel better than I have felt in the last 10 years. I continue to get stronger and pushing myself to new limits with each class. The people in class with me are wonderfully supportive to each other. TTF is the best.

My husband and I love TTF. As a military couple, this gym has provided us with such a sense of community in Carlisle. It feels like family. The fast tempo workouts are challenging and fun and the class times work well for our busy schedules. At TTF you will be given a strength training workout that has been selected by Kirk Ream to give you a balance of exercises that change daily.
There is little repetition with these circuits from one day to another. Kirk and his Staff have created a very good fitness program that is more than just a work out.

This is my favorite place to workout because of the structure of the circuits and the friendly no-judgement atmosphere. We are huge fans of transformation training and fitness. We were ready for a change health-wise and did a trial class to see what we would think. We knew right away that It was special. We both bought memberships and jumped right in.
The best part is the community feel where you get to know people who come in for the same workout slot each week. The people (participants and instructors) are so kind and encouraging and welcoming. We came for the great workouts but we stayed for the great people.
The workouts are also amazing, they are full body and challenge you to get better each time. And there are always great modification suggestions based on injuries or skill levels. Could not recommend more highly!

August 1, 2025 marked 3 years at TTF. I walked in nervous and intimidated. At 60 years old I was beginning a new journey. I quickly realized that this is a judgement free zone. Everyone has been encouraging and supportive. I had nothing to be nervous about and my only regret is that I didn’t join earlier. The 9:15 group has become an important part of my routine. These people have become my friends. I will continue this journey as long as physically possible.

I’ve been going to TTF for about 5 years now. The workouts are as tough as you want them to be & the variety and getting to work out to music is super! The people I’ve met there are friendly and encouraging. The results are that at 76 I’m still able to do the things I love - hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Very highly recommend!!

TTF is a fantastic way to get an efficient full body workout in 30 minutes. You can come as much or as little as you want. They provide group classes and vary the exercise stations and workouts. I've found motivation in the group setting as well as having an instructor present to answer questions and provide guidance on workouts. TTF offers several other services and supplements to cater to an individual. Even though it is a group atmosphere everyone has been very friendly and encouraging. Its an easy one stop shop for all of your fitness needs.

Best gym I have ever been too. (As a military spouse I have been to a few) the workouts are extremely well designed - challenging but variations are always offered to suit beginners and those with pre-existing injuries. The gym is community orientated and members welcoming. If you are moving to Carlisle or currently there I would highly recommend this gym.

This is a review of Medgym which split from Transformation Training (nextdoor to each other). They do a really good job of tailoring a workout to fit individual abilities. Especially good for boomers and those who need physical therapy and strength training. Trainer is always onsite to provide Individual attention. Costs a little more but worth it.
