I’ve been going TreadHouse for about 2 months now. I started going in order to push myself in the weightlifting department. I’m a marathon runner looking to Boston Qualify and TreadHouse has seriously made me not absolutely despise lifting. Also, they’re one of the only gyms in Lancaster city that has classes early enough for me to go before work. Everyone is very friendly and I love that they make teams for races all over PA!

I LOVE TREADHOUSE! I found TreadHouse when looking for a gym to get my body prepped and ready for some backpacking & hiking out west this summer. I’m 12 classes in and I love the coaches, the work out format (1/3 treadmill & 2/3 weights), the people & the tunes! I can’t recommend this gym enough. Megan - the owner- is AMAZING!

Treadhouse has truly become my second home! I’ve been coming here for almost two years, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. The coaches—JoEllyn, Megan, Mark, and Jennifer—are absolutely amazing! They’re not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, patient, and kind. They genuinely care about each person’s journey and make every workout feel both challenging and rewarding.
One of the things I love most is how they celebrate your milestones every 50 classes, making you feel accomplished and seen. The energy here is unbeatable—there’s nothing like fist-bumping my gym mates between every round, feeling that shared motivation and camaraderie.

This week, I reached a major milestone in my personal fitness journey: my 100th class at Tread House! 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣❗️💪🏃♂️🏋♂️
This is a huge deal for someone like me who was never moved to live a "fitness lifestyle."
I can honestly say this health and fitness journey that I've started in 2024 has been life-changing for me. Since January, I’ve lost over 35 pounds, dropped from a size large shirt to a size small, dropped 2 pants sizes, and have begun building lean muscle while reducing my overall body fat percentage and I'm looking more toned.
I’m already in the best shape of my life—even better than I was in after U.S. Army basic training more than 20 years ago.
The transformation hasn’t just been about fitness; it’s been about eating healthier, staying hydrated, cutting back on alcohol, and walking more. But I truly do owe much of my success to the steady routine I found at Tread House, where I started this past spring. After attending their "Free Week" in May and taking 6 classes in a row, I was hooked. Now, I take 6 classes a week at 6:15am, surrounded by the supportive "6:15 crew" that helps kick-start my day.
Each science-based class offers a mix of cardio interval + strength training, guided by incredible and inspirational coaches (shout-out to JoEllyn, Megan, and Asher!) who push me to go further and reach my goals. With each week, my endurance improves, I run faster, and I lift heavier weights.

Tread House is the best! I have been going to Tread House for almost two years now and I truly call it my second home. If you know me you know I can never shut up about how much I love going. The environment and community here is so uplifting from not just the coaches, but the members as well. It does not compare to any gym I have been to previously. Came to Tread House over the weekend during a girls trip to Lancaster and had a great time! Parking was easily, the studio was clean and centrally-located. We arrived to personally-decorated lockers and just an overall, warm reception. The class was energized and challenging without being intimidating. Fun class, makes you sweat! Nice facilities and ample space for the class size. I would personally prefer longer intervals times so you aren't switching from tread to floor so many times. Just comparing it to similar classes I’ve taken in the past, I prefer 10-15 minute intervals in a 1 hour class.

I have been coming to Tread House for over a year now and as a runner who needs help with weight lifting it is the perfect workout! The instructors are energizing and fun, the music is a blast, and the community is great. I find other workout classes are all cardio or not enough cardio for me and Tread House’s combination of running and weight lifting is just what I need. They do a great job planning different workouts throughout the week/month so you are always working on something different!

Visited Lancaster for the first time and found Tread House while walking around town. Signed up for a drop-in class the next day (Full Body Friday) and it was a GREAT workout.
If you’ve done HIIT workouts like OrangeTheory, Equinox’s Precision Run or Life Time’s GTX, you will love Tread House.
Definitely one of the toughest HIIT’s I’ve ever done and exactly the butt-kicking workout I needed during a wedding weekend full of food and drinks.
Staff and other members were awesome, welcoming and encouraging. The studio was super organized and clean. Just a great vibe all the way around.

The work out is great but parking is a constant issue. They do have a parking lot, but it is frequently full. People linger in the parking lot a lot after classes which keeps the parking lot full for people coming in for the next class.

Great combo cardio and strength workout- overlooking Penn Square in downtown Lancaster. The instructor was encouraging and helpful for a first-timer. They had a spin bike available for me, which was a life saver since I had an injury keeping me from running. The 1 hour class flew by.

This is my favorite group fitness studio in Lancaster. I love all the instructors, the music, and the vibes of the space. Sometimes when I go to group fitness classes I feel like either I get ALL cardio but no strength, or it's all strength with no cardio, but Tread House is the perfect mix of cardio and quality strength training. 10/10 stars!

I took my first class 10 months ago for a full body workout. Tread House has definitely become my house! It’s not just a workout- this place has a huge heart! Something about the structure of these classes is super motivating and it never gets boring. A place like this is a second home! I had my first class here today (12/21/2022) and it was a fantastic experience. The facility is well thought-out and very clean. The equipment is in great shape - and the Woodway treadmills are a smooooooth ride. Megan was a dope coach - very attentive to each members' form and input. This place…what can I say?! This place is seriously the best place you can workout at. Every single person here is so kind and welcoming. The coaches here are top tier and they know their stuff. Treadhouse is incredible. There are so many things I love about it. First of all, I love the layout of the class. It's a great combination of cardio and strength training. Every day you are working a different part of the body so you are able to work out everyday without over working one muscle group. They have great equipment and their Covid guidelines make me feel safe while working out. Treadhouse is seriously the perfect place. You need to try it out!! The combination of using Treads and completing floor exercises is the best of both worlds. No two workouts are the same from the tread blocks to the exercises. This is a gym where there is absolutely no judgement. You can come as you are. Think you can’t push harder, think you can’t run faster- take a class. The music selection is awesome and helps to keep your tempo up. It’s in a great location downtown, and you can grab a snack or drink at another locally owned place nearby. You’re not a number here, you are a name. I’m Emily, but they have stations with names like Savage, Warrior, and Champion. Pick the spot that calls to you. Rotate between the treadmill and floor station (weights). All the while, one of the trainers is there to guide, support, and encourage you! Even with covid when you can’t meet in person, their online classes still beat classes I’ve had IN PERSON at other places. So, sign up for a class. Buy a pack of classes. Sign up for a weekly membership. Bring a friend. Tell a friend. You won’t regret it.

I moved to Lancaster April 2019 from Philly where I had all sorts of fitness classes to choose from and have been looking for my place for fitness here in Lancaster. I caught wind of these awesome ladies opening this studio and couldn’t wait for it to happen. So now that it’s rocking let me tell you- I LOVE IT! It’s the best thing I’ve found in the area, all the workouts are fun different and seriously you don’t have to love to run to come, if that’s what you’re thinking. I don’t love running but the blocks on and off the treadmill keep things exciting and they have thee best treadmills ever! This is by far the best workout experience you are going to get in Lancaster or anywhere else in the area for that matter. Total body workout was the perfect mix and treadmill intervals were spot on!
