We love this place for our children. It is a great way to burn off energy while learning new fun & challenging skills. As a parent, they have an area where you can sit and watch your child(ren). So fun to watch them achieve things they didn't think they could.
Oh yeah & a shout out to the coaches. Theh are great!!!

My 6 year old daughter tried out the Labor Day camp and I was extremely pleased. The coaching alone is worth the drive and the cost.

My (very) high energy son absolutely loves this program. He's always excited to go and takes pride in the progress he's made these last few months.

The classes are really well structured and there's absolutely zero time wasted. The kids are moving from start to finish with a couple of quick water breaks along the way. The coaches (especially Coach Brian) find the right balance of ensuring that the kids are following instructions while still having a lot of fun and giving them a little space for goofiness.

The website allows for very quick and easy class transfers and also automatically applies "make up credits" when a class is missed. Super convenient and the right way to run a business.

Highly recommend!

This was our trial night. Our son really liked it. It was a great challenge. He most loved the warped wall with the rope! And the swinging rings! We will be back. Both instructors were very engaged and great with the kids. Our son said he gives it 2500 stars!

I met Justin today, he is really pumped to bring this challenge to local kids. Classes, Camps, and Parties are offered to help get kids off the couch and get moving! Going to take the grand kids to it try out.

Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed with the poor sportsmanship of the coaches at this gym. It’s really unfortunate that such strong ninjas would have such a poor attitude to others in this community. Part of training your team should be leading by example. The ninja community is about supporting each other and the coaches, kayla in particular, clearly do NOT seem to care about build a positive supportive team…

The gym produces insane ninjas but coaches aren’t great examples (bad attitude, and lack of support for other ninjas, etc) not a great example for children. Specifically noticing the negative attitude towards other gyms and kids from Kayla.

Let me introduce you to the best thing that’s happened to my energetic, fearless (except when she’s not) three-year-old, River: The Sidekicks class at USA Ninja Challenge Camp Hill.

If you’ve ever watched American Ninja Warrior and thought, “Wow, that looks intense,” but then immediately turned your head to see your toddler scaling the back of your couch like a professional stunt double, this class is for you.

The best part? You, their trusted sidekick (a.k.a. human jungle gym, emotional support system, and occasional crash pad), get to join in on the fun.

Disclaimer: This was a hosted visit, meaning we got to try the first class for free in exchange for our honest review. But let’s be real—I’m under zero obligation to keep going, and yet, here I am, happily handing over my credit card because we loved it THAT much. So, if you see me attempting ninja moves, mind your business. 😆

Our First Class: Nerves, Giggles, and the Monkey Bar Standoff
When we first walked into USA Ninja Challenge, River was hyped. She took one look at the gym, eyes wide like she’d just discovered a magical kingdom built entirely for climbing, jumping, and swinging. But then... she spotted the monkey bars.

Her enthusiasm stopped cold.

"No, thank you." Immediate toddler veto.

And look, I could have tried to convince her, but forcing a three-year-old to do something they don’t want to do is like negotiating with a very tiny, very stubborn lawyer who already knows they run this household.

Especially this child who very much takes after her attorney father.

“Your honor, the evidence clearly states that my client never agreed to a nap.”
“If I may direct the court’s attention to Exhibit A: The Snack Contract of 2024, which entitles me to unlimited Goldfish crackers.”
“Furthermore, your honor, we’d like to introduce a motion to delay bedtime indefinitely.”
And honestly? I would do not win a single case.

So instead, I followed her lead. We focused on the obstacle course, where she climbed, jumped, and had the absolute best time. The coaches were incredible—offering gentle encouragement, celebrating tiny victories, and never pushing too hard.

But the monkey bars? Still a hard pass.

The entire ride home, though, she kept saying, "I try again next time."

Week Two: The Monkey Bars Redemption Arc
Fast forward to week two. River marched into class like she owned the place. She was ready. The obstacle course? A breeze. The balance beam? Child’s play. And then...

She walked up to the monkey bars.

I held my breath. The coach gave her an encouraging smile and said, “You’ve got this, River.” She took a deep breath, reached up... and went for it.

Now, did she suddenly transform into an Olympic gymnast? No. But she held on, swung for a second, and beamed with pride. And that? That was everything.

The way she lit up with confidence, the way the coaches cheered for her small-but-mighty victory, the way I totally didn’t cry but okay maybe a little—it was one of those parenting moments you hold onto forever.

Why We Signed Up Immediately
The class was that good. It’s active, engaging, and positive—a place where kids learn bravery at their own pace with zero pressure and all the encouragement.

🌟 What Makes Sidekicks Awesome:
✔️ Kid-led confidence building – Coaches encourage but never push.
✔️ Parent involvement – It’s quality time and a sneaky little workout for you, too.
✔️ Obstacle course fun – It’s like a playground on steroids, but safe.
✔️ Social skills & teamwork – Learning to take turns and cheer for each other!

River loved it, and I loved watching her grow in confidence (and also the built-in nap that followed every class, let’s be honest).

So, if you’ve got a toddler who climbs everything in sight or just needs a confidence boost in a super fun and safe environment, run (or ninja flip) to USA Ninja Challenge Camp Hill.

When my 11 year old daughter tried out the summer camp this summer she absolutely fell in love and I instantly enrolled her in weekly classes. She has continued to work hard mastering her skills each week and is almost a level 3 Ninja. All the staff is amazing and she loves how encouraging Coach Bryan and Coach Bella are with her. We were searching for an activity for my 9 yr old son who is athletic but not competitive. USA Ninja Challenge is the PERFECT fit for him! He is gaining a huge amount of confidence in his abilities. Each week, the staff sets up different obstacle challenges for the students. The staff models and/or explains each skill, and the students attempt each obstacle. The staff provides individual guidance and encouragement throughout the session. Students are rated on each obstacle on a scale from 1-6. The ratings are color coded and students know their levels because they are posted inside the gym and in the waiting room. As a parent, I love the structure of the sessions. The students are constantly engaged and they get an amazing workout! Bryan is the main instructor in my son's class, and he is phenomenal. He takes a personal interest in each student and he really pushes my son to do his best. All of his comments are so positive - he brings awesome energy to the class. USA Ninja Challenge is truly a great fit for any kid who wants to increase their abilities and gain strength and confidence.

The Camp Hill location is phenomenal. It is clean, the instructors are energetic and all smiles, and the kiddos absolutely enjoy all of the running and jumping and climbing they get to do with their friends. They've got classes for all ages, and the kiddos come home tired. It's a wonderful addition to the community.
