I had a 1-on-1 training session with Coach Adam. Time and money well spent. He geared the lesson to my ability level and packed a lot of learning into an hour. Note to Google and other users: the location on Google Maps as of this date is INCORRECT. The correct location is actually two blocks away at 19 E. Spring Ave. (corner of Spring and Sheldon Lane).

Love Washington Boxing Academy!! I initially started going here when it was owned and operated by Alden Washington. It is now owned and operated by his son Adam who is equally as amazing as his dad! This small but mighty gym is great for children and adults. Seriously one of the best workouts ever! And it’s FUN! Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family took a class with Coach Adam this past summer. As we left, our daughter asked to continue taking classes. Nine months later, she boxes 3x a week (and is truly upset if she has to miss a class). A treasure, this place and this coach. Adam has all the skills, a growth mindset as a teacher and leader, and he brings out the best in his many students. My daughter, now 16, has attended classes and has been a private student for many years now. My 11 year old son has been going to this place 2 times a week for at least two years now. He gets upset if he has to miss class for any reason. Adam and his team truly love what they do. I notice his adult classes have consistent attendance by both men and women. Training for the body and the mind!

How awesome to have this place in my neighborhood!!! Not only is it a KILLER workout for adults AND kids, but Adam is a treasure for the community. He takes pride in his work, and his life, and shares that with so many. Sending my son to him was a no-brainer. If you’re looking for something for your kid to do for exercise or confidence or safety, especially if s/he is not “into” sports, they will find a home here and it won’t break the bank.
My husband and I LOVED our time there. It’s a no-frills place to get out the aggression, burn a ton of calories, and have some laughs. Adam is the real deal - an actual BOXER who is now YOUR COACH. Can’t say enough good stuff about it.
