reference: Tom and the personal trainers welcome you with outstretched arms. They listen to you to learn what your fitness goals are and then customize an exercise plan designed for you. The two personal trainers that helped me, Victor and Maria, formed the best team I could have asked for. In only a few weeks they created a foundation routine to get me started, modified each exercise and introduced new options, and taught me how to manage a routine that makes sense for me. My wife and I have been training at Weaver for about 5 months. We have worked exclusively with Tom, but have seen Tina and Vic and Nate working with clients as well. We absolutely love the culture and atmosphere that Tom has created. The environment is not a old school iron lifters. It is an extremely supportive environment in all the right ways. Tom pushes when he needs to push and can intuitively identify when you don't need a push. Different workouts every session, it never gets boring! I highly recommend Weaver Personal Training, 5 stars from us.

My Story
A few years ago my daughter and son-in-law felt the need to change the direction of their health. My son-in-law came in contact with Tom Weaver of “Weavers Personal Training “. My wife and I noticed some significant changes in their fitness and they kept encouraging us to give it a try. Finally my wife said “I’m going to give it a try,” so she started. Then, about a year later I finally took the step and joined too. Tom works with the strengths you have and helps creates a regimen through his instructions that will help you accomplish more than you can imagine, but that’s not all. A few months ago he started to notice that I began to struggle with the second set of the workout. There was no chest pain, but I had to pause a lot to recover. He strongly suggested I get with my doctor and see if a stress test would be possible. My next appointment was a few weeks away so I held off till then. Mr doctor seemed more concerned about vaccines than shortness of breath. This process started was turning into months instead of weeks. Tom kept working with me - letting me go at the pace of my comfort and asking “have you heard anything yet”? I told him of my search for a new doctor. Within days I was sitting in my new doctors office. Finally my stress test would get scheduled. I went into the test feeling good, but it didn’t take long for my issue to show itself. When the test didn’t go well, Tom advised against any more workout sessions. Days later I get a call that I had been referred to the Cardiologist and to be seen asap. A CTA scan was needed and finally through that painstaking process with my insurance company, I was approved for the test! Last Monday I went to LGH for the scan, and didn’t know when I would have the results. I went to work on Tuesday. After supper I decided to continue working on a project. I got a disturbing phone call from the cardiologist telling me to “go to the ER asap.” It’s day number 7 after having quadruple bypass surgery. That surgery saved my life. I lay here overjoyed. I am a man of faith and I believe God placed Tom in my life for such a time as this. This review of Weavers Personal Training does not have enough stars to give, but if you want a true personal training experience with the confidence of their abilities to go above and beyond, you’ve got to give them a shot! Tom has a highly qualified staff with, Tina, Victor and Nate, and they will put your best interest in mind.

The entire team at Weaver's Personal Training are "top notch"... whether you desire to lose weight, get better at golf or running, have a goal in mind, they will tailor make your program to you. And they pay attention and ensure you have good form and are getting the most out of your session.

The trainers do an awesome job with continuous ways to motivate. My entire family has trained here and they approach each person to their specific needs and goals. I am a 77 year old retired physician, and have been working with Tom for over 3 years prompted by a serious knee injury. Tom has helped me immensely. I am now able to ascend steps normally, and beginning to descend normally. This has been a major change for me. My improved overall body fitness, which is part of the program has greatly improved my quality of life.

I started training with Tom a couple of years ago. Since then my husband has joined me, and we train together. Tom is personable, knowledgeable, and customizes the workouts with the intent of gaining functional strength. I have noticed a big improvement in my strength and ability to do physical work since training at Weaver’s. Strength is important to maintain as one approaches retirement, as we are. As a client of Weaver Personal Training since 2009, please take my word for it that your time and money will both be well spent here. One 60 minute session per week is all you need to make that first step toward a stronger and healthier you. I can do aerobic exercise at home on my own. But for weight training, I want to train with someone that lives, breathes and eats fitness and health. That is what will you get here. My belief is that for every dollar I spend here, that will be one dollar I will not have to spend at a nursing home somewhere down the road. It's up to you!!!
