Nice class. Used class pass. The only complaint is that it was very noisy outside so hard to relax

I had a wonderful experience here today dropping into a class. Julie led a Yoga Strong class which was a perfect balance of flow, strength-building, and calming poses. I really enjoyed the light, spacious vibe of the studio. My only feedback was my yoga mat strongly smelled like bleach - might be good to switch to a greener cleaning option for wiping down mats and blocks. Otherwise everything else was great.

They have some very talented instructors at Yoga Love, they are all so dedicated, creative and helpful. It's a small studio, and they work you hard, but you learn a lot.

Parking can be challenging at times, but I don't have a problem with on street parking, especially if the class is after 6 pm or on Sunday.

The space is inviting and comfortable. The other students are friendly. The staff is welcoming, encouraging and well trained.

Yoga Love quickly become my weekly routine after trying out for the first time. The space feels authentic and intimate (unlike the bigger more cramped up commercial yoga studios around the same area). The instructors are creative in their sequencing and very nice. Favorite spot for my inner yogi.

I visited Yoga Love through Class Pass, and I loved the first class I took (Yoga Strong with Tatum) so much that I was considering buying a Yoga Love membership. However, after my experience in the Yoga Tone class on Thursday, 11/11, I refuse to give Yoga Love my money or my Class Pass credits, and I cancelled the two other classes I had scheduled for this week.

When I entered the studio, there was a woman having a conversation with the instructor (Juls). I took off my shoes and jacket and headed into the actual studio space, but I popped my head out to ask a quick question and to compliment the woman on her glasses. As I did, I caught the woman whispering to the instructor (hand covering the side of her mouth and everything!), and both women seemed surprised and caught off-guard. I went back into the studio space, and both women were quiet for about a minute before continuing the original conversation they were having at their original volume. That made me extremely uncomfortable, and the situation was in my head during the entire practice. To make matters worse, the same woman decided to place her mat directly next to mine.

At the end of class, the instructor asked how class was and I let her know that I was uncomfortable because of what happened before the class began. She seemed shocked that I said something/that I felt this way.

I know that yoga in western society is a predominately white female space, and it is not uncommon for me to be the only black woman/person in a yoga class. However, this situation was unlike anything I've ever experienced in a yoga studio or any other exercise facility for that matter. There are several other fitness options in this area that are actually welcoming, inclusive exercise *communities* (Zenergy Cycling, Level Red Boxing, Club Pilates). I will not be returning to Yoga Love.

I just cannot describe how amazing this place is. I took Joanna and Meghan’s class, and both instructors are very welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate. I especially like that every instructor has their unique style so you can really learn different things from each instructor. I have been to many Yoga studios, even in different cities, but I have to admit that Yoga love Pittsburgh still stands out! I always felt good as I left. Definitely give it a try and you will not regret!

The growth I've experienced since joining YL is unparalleled. I originally joined to aid my healing after two surgeries and have continued to consider the studio as the "home" of my practice. The teachers are unique and knowledgeable and go above and beyond with adjustments, aromatherapy, and creativity. Highly recommend for all levels. Plus the price is unbeatable!!

When I moved to Pittsburgh 3 months ago, I decided to try their 30days for $30. I fell in love! Yoga Love is such a beautiful and inviting studio! All of the instructors are extremely knowledgable and keep the classes fresh and exciting. Its also the best value i have found around the Pittsburgh area, way more affordable than other studio, but it is absolutely the opposite of a cheap experience. Moving to a new city can be a little hard, but finding Yoga Love has made a world of difference. Namaste <3
