I have been going here for almost 3 years and loved every second of my training. Brian has become not only my personal trainer but my family. He has been there and supported me as trainer and friend through all my life transitions from moving, to getting back in shape, pregnancy, and recovering and has helped me achieve my fitness goals through it all. Once you join here you will never want to leave and love the entire experience. He’s hardworking, kind, encouraging, and everything you are looking for in a personal trainer. Brian is a natural born sensei - he does not impose his will on you, but he helps you find the strength of will within yourself. He listens first, and then he’ll figure out how to meet you where you are and help you grow from there. His technical mastery of his craft is superb - the attention to detail in every stance and movement, the implicit understanding of when to push and when to ease up, his focus on the work outside the gym (diet, sleep, mental health etc) - all makes for an invigorating session every single time. The workouts are diverse and engaging, both in exercise selection as well as in studio music and conversation. I ALWAYS walk out in a better state of mind than I walk in.

I’ve been training with Brian since I was 8 when he taught me my brother and sister karate. I reached out to Brian later in life to help me get back into working out. Found out he had blueprint fitness down the street from my house and started coming in for personal training. Since I’ve came back to Brian to train I’ve greatly improved my physical health, lost a lot of weight and started learning combat sports. Brian will push you to do more than you thought you’d be able to, is very knowledgeable, and cares about you on a personal level.

This isn't where you go to just work out. Brian will work with you to achieve your specific goals and make sure to believe in you as much or more than you believe in yourself while you're at it.

This is the kind of training and support that helps people transform. I've known and trained with Brian for more than a decade and I've seem him help coming back the worst things that have happened to them physically and mentally and they're now happy, healthy, and mobile. Walked in out of curiosity one day and met Brian. First impression was the energy level he had, it was motivating without working out. Talked to him for a few minutes and told him what I do for work and what I was looking for. The positivity and passion he has for what he wants to accomplish was unmeasurable. After our discussion I decided to try it out so we scheduled a session.

The first session I showed up for he told me to stretch while he finished up with another client. There was no down time, no BS, it was time to go to work, so we did. Checking forms and making sure I was doing the routines properly he had that same energy from the day I met with him. He wasn’t just a trainer he was also a coach. We powered through our session and I was exhausted but felt great.

Every additional session that we had/have is the same energy and fire. If you’re looking for someone who motivates you and is zero BS I highly recommend going to see Brian at Blueprint Fitness.

Brian is great - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, experienced. He is truly what a trainer should be; focused on function, form, and variety. He pushes you to work hard but also to listen to your body. Brian, the owner and personal trainer has a keen ability to know when you can do one more rep or add just a little more weight which leads to growth and progress with each workout. I’ve known Brian Mcdoughna owner of Blueprint Fitness.for 17yrs. He is probably one of the most dedicated trainers, Boxing, weight lifting n general fitness and nutrition.
