I’ve been a member of this YMCA for about eighteen months. Two lifeguards enforce the “state rules” and none of the others do which leads to my membership, which 90% of the reason we go there is for the pool, becoming useless and a waste of my time when my kids aren’t allowed to swim.

This ymca is going down hill
The staff are all great but the management made a really bad decision when they let go of the cleaning crew and hired a 3rd party firm to come clean after hrs.. multiple times a week there has been feces on shower chairs and toliet seats the floors are always dirty in the changing areas the bathroom reek of sewage and there is 9ften no toliet paper or paper towels in the bathrooms.
The water fountain has been broken for months and the lockers give you blood blisters trying to open them because the ones that they don't rent out are all broken. I really hope things start to change because we love the swim coaches and don't want to have to switch to a different location

My kids have continuously taken swim lessons here for the past 3 years. Very old building, but the upper level just got a nice makeover. Hopefully the lower level gets some updates soon. Pool is huge and the swim teachers are amazing, especially Kyle & Marlayna! I’m very thankful that they decided to put the bleachers back into the pool room so parents can comfortably watch our children. Thank you YMCA for all that you do!

It is essential to provide constructive feedback instead of criticizing a business in reviews. If you encounter any problems, kindly inform the front desk to assist you better. They cannot read your mind, so please extend your cooperation. It is imperative to note that if you need something, you should go in person. The front desk is manned by only one person, and people are coming in and phones are ringing every minute. Remember, they are human beings just like you and me. Any cancellations must be done in person.

Though the building may be old, the staff is doing an excellent job of keeping it in good condition. It is important to understand that everything costs money. YMCA is a non-profit organization, which means it relies on donations from people like you. Some members may only pay $35 or less, depending on their income. Members can enjoy state-of-the-art cardio, strength, and free weight equipment, pools for all ages and skill levels, initial and ongoing wellness consultations for free, affordable and accessible personal training programs, group exercise for all ages at no additional cost, including aerobics, Zumba, Pilates, indoor cycling, yoga, and Les Mills. With a family membership, you can avail yourself of free kid's care while you work out, early registration, discounted rates on programs, support programs designed to address chronic health issues such as cancer, pre-diabetes, Parkinson's, and arthritis, multi-sibling benefits for session-based programs (with Family and Individual Plus Membership), and nationwide membership at any participating YMCA in the United States. Financial assistance is also available for those who qualify.

Run-down old facility that lacks many features other Y’s have. Much of what they do have still closed due to Covid or has limited hours.

Make sure to tour the facility, and check what hours the things you want are actually available.

Filthy changing rooms with moldy shower curtains. And a lifeguard who isnt following the rules and making sure people are leaving the pool when their session is done leading to over crowding.

My son was just there today. He was drowing and the life guard took her sweet time walking towards him. 🤦🏻‍♀️ smh. He cried so much. Even after getting home. They need to take it more seriously. Even if its a feet deeper, anybody can drown. When you are in panic, you cant think correctly!

Total mass confusion. At a swim meet anyone and.anybody.seems to be allowed on the swim deck. Swimmers wandering around, parents going up to the timers to check their child's time. A total mess. NO control.

Horrible customer experience, called to month ago to froze my membership due to a temporary family situacion was told over the phone than my account was put on hold , 2 month latter I was still getting charge to my credit card called ymca again and they said that informacion i was gave was incorrect I that i was supposed to go in person to cancel , Should be told that the first time and not keep being charge For a mistake of YMCA employees , Will never go back to a business that does not honor their words because they are not interested on providing a good customer service experience.

-A good place, generally. Great that they stay open on days when other places are closed, like 24 December.
-There could be more supervision of teenagers who trash locker rooms in evenings.
-Swim staff are very friendly; all but one front desk staff greet you with a warm "hello."
