My two children went to Empowered Movement for the first time this week, and they absolutely loved it! Miss Jordan is so sweet and welcoming — she made them feel comfortable right away. We can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

I attended a creative movement class today with my 2 year old granddaughter. It’s a fantastic class to get them started in a group activity. The teacher was fun and positive and the kids really respond. A parent participates making it fun for all. I highly recommend this class for “littles”.

This is the most amazing place in Barrington for little ones and their parents to play, dance, and socialize.

I moved to the area last summer, and had a hard time adjusting until bringing my daughter to classes here. We both felt so comfortable from day one and fell in love with the community that Ms Jordan and her staff have created here.

Watching my daughter flourish socially, and strengthen both her self awareness and motor skills has just been incredible. 10/10 recommend!!!!

My family and I went to the grand opening event and it was full of adults and children of all ages interacting and having fun. This new space is owned and operated by the talented Jordan Rodrigues, who is extremely talented and has tons to offer the community. Jordan, a mom herself, also holds a degree in dance and movement therapy, and has years of experience in teaching dance and various exercise programs such as Zumba, barre and conditioning lasses. Empowered movement will offer opportunities for adults and children to connect, form relationships and growin a safe and supportive environment.
We can’t wait to attend classes and open play !!

Loved walking in to empowered movement and being welcomed by the multi-talented owner Jordan, and over a dozen toddler smiles! What a great space to promote social and emotional learning for your littles and also connect with other families!
Empowered movement offers dance classes, play groups, mommy meet ups and it is also a space that can be used for family events and birthday parties! So exciting!
