This space is sacred and filled with energy that uplifts you and grounds you at the same time during yoga practices. This studio is an oasis, providing an opportunity to step out of the busy world and into a safe place to let go and get in tune with your breath and body. The teachers are well versed in their yoga teachings and excited to share that with fellow yogis. Jala has built a beautiful community to join. And the heated floors make for a cozy practice!

Jala’s new studio over in Pawtucket is so wonderful! It is perfectly located at the North end of Blackstone Boulevard (which is such a relaxing drive or scenic walk over) AND in between my 2 favorite vegan places (wildflour and garden grille) which are ideal for grabbing a smoothie or juice or dinner after class! The teachers are so knowledgeable on various styles of yoga and so welcoming, crafting mindful and empowering series and staying open to questions or suggestions! The class schedule is full of so many convenient times throughout the week and weekend - making it possible to practice before or after work and to mix things up with vinyasa or yin or whichever style calls to you. Also convenient is the parking situation- there is a big lot with free parking right outside the studio!! The space itself is so beautiful, especially near sunrise and sunset- I love the intricate tables and the heated floors (especially during these cold months)! I am so excited about this extension of the Jala community into Pawtucket and can’t wait to practice there this year. I’m planning to recruit some friends to practice yoga with me with the promise of a vegan cookie to follow!

Jala teachers are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and kind. Every class is put together with thoughtfulness and intention. There are a variety of class styles and intensities to choose from, and are accessible for a broad range of abilities. I have practiced for many years in various places and Jala remains my favorite studio in which to practice as a community. Not to mention that both studios are extremely clean, light, and beautiful. The heated floor in the Pawtucket studio is such a nice touch. A real pleasure!

Jala's Pawtucket studio is impeccably designed and wonderful for practice. There are antique wooden pieces juxtaposing a modern open feel and a heated floor. I am really happy with how this space was transformed and will definitely be going there lots in addition to the S. Main location. Well done Jala!!! Namaste.

Gorgeous space and wonderful teachers. I've taken classes from Bristol, Eve, Lindsay, and David at Jala's new studio. Each of them has a slightly different approach, but all of them are so genuine and thoughtful in their teachings. Jala also has a lightness about it that I've never felt in other studios. Silliness and laughter make frequent appearances-- not in a forced way, but in a way that allows us to take our practice home, while not taking ourselves (and our mistakes) too seriously. Also love the hands-on assists offered (and never required for folks who are less comfortable with touch). And the props! Wonderful! I want to take the yoga blankets home with me!
