I joined several months ago specifically for the pool since this is not an option in most other places. Over the past 3-4 weeks the cleanliness has drastically declined in the pool area as well as the bathroom and locker room. There are drain flies all the time in the “ required “ shower in the pool area . I will not shower w flies. There is obvious mold in many spots .I did report it there and really hope it improves very soon. Facilities should not be dirty at 5 am upon opening . Bathrooms should be checked routinely and prioritized .With the amount of people using the facilities, professional cleaners need to be contracted. I hope to update my rating if things improve .

Grossest gym ever! Pool rails have rust everywhere. The locker rooms have mold in the shower, and tons of flies coming out the drains. Morgan is a terrible manager and not too nice either. I mean with a gym that looks like that just head to the one in Cranston!

Sauna was under 150 with the temp control snapped off the wall. Hottub Jets have been broken for over 3 months. Hottub surrounded by same used bandaids for weeks at a time. Nobody is cleaning. Nobody is fixing. Nobody cares.
This place needs to do something or offer customers some money back until all amenities are fixed. I go for the hottub and sauna after a workout because that's what I'm paying for. If I wanted to just workout and shower I'd pay $10 at PF

I have been going to LA Fitness in more than one half dozen locations for more than one decade. There has always been a great variety of equipment in the Central Arizona, Dallas and Providence metropolitan areas. They have adduction and abduction machines as well three squat racks with "spotter bars" on both sides (to prevent the barbell from falling all of the way to the ground). They have over one dozen treadmills at many of the locations that I have visited, in addition to two incline benches with barbell rack, four flat benches with barbell rack, three lat pull down machines, two leg press machines, three seated benches without barbell rack, and at least two flat benches without barbell rack. The staff has been very friendly and informative, fixing what they can and at the same time, letting me know what they can't.

Ok so this is going to be a long review. I've been coming to this gym since the start of this year with the goal being losing weight and gaining muscle. I have to say the selling point was the awesome staff. Aaron who runs PT is cool and very informed on what you need to reach your goals. My personal trainer Jesse is crazy with the circuits and making me cry sweat on the regular. Jim the manager listens and always has some great advice for staying on point with your fitness. My two favorites are Morgan who runs that front desk and is so welcoming and really never leaves, if she's not there it's chaos. Then my guy Jeff who does the sales/mgmt and always remembers my name and motivates me to work even harder. I love the variety of machines and the ability to stay sanitary. I do wish the gym would get better machines and some of the facilities were cleaner but overall I love this gym it gets the job done. Being able to see my regular gym people who I don't speak to, but acknowledge the drive in all of us. This gym is dope if your there to work out, but for those that want to complain rather than workout keep it moving.

I had to update my card ( rcvd a new one) , payment due on the 17th- they called me , I updated it and paid it on the 17th before 9am and they charged me a late fee anyways , spoke to the manager who couldn’t even give me a reason why and exact words being “ I don’t know why that happened” a manager should always have a reason or resolution , and if he doesn’t he should attempt to find one, so I’ll be canceling my membership since it doesn’t seem like they really care about their customers anyways.

I am a 7 year active member here. While staff may come and go, equipment is plentiful. The pool is usually dam near sparkling, and the vibes in the air are bumping

The muscle heads here are a gaint kiosk of information just waiting to help idiots like me with a wealth of information.

As for kids and young adults, well, they are often kept in check.

There is a beautiful pool....athough there is a sign informing members to shower before they enter the pool/hot tub... they don’t and management/employees don’t enforce this rule despite numerous complaints. Members don’t clean off machines after working out, nothing is done about this as well. I’ve gotten sick numerous times from the pool due to members not showering before they go into the pool as well as the members going into the pool when they are sick.

I had a membership here for a year and a half. All I can say about this place is that it is DIRTY. All of the machines are filthy. The bathrooms are horrid, ESPECIALLY the showers. The curtains have mold, there is scale on all of the shower nozzles, I’ve found hair and other things on the floors… so gross.
The pool is way too hot to swim laps in. They definitely prioritize the comfort of the aqua fit class.
The weights in the personal training area are always strewn about. I got a workout just putting everything back into place one morning… it was so messy I could not concentrate.
I tried a yoga class a few times, I went twice in a day (morning and evening) the instructor asked everyone to come back later that day at the end of the morning class. I thought why not! I have the energy and i’ll bring my husband with me. Well, it turned out to be the exact same class… weird since she made it a point to tell the people earlier that day to come in the evening, but I figured maybe they just do one flow per day and I stuck it out. I really wanted to try a new flow so I went back another day to try it out one more time and I kid you not, it was the exact same class. I almost left out of frustration, but the situation became so funny to me so I decided to stay. I needed to know if the instructor was going to make all the same jokes and quips for research. Not only was it the exact same class verbatim, I thought I was being pranked. She said EVERYTHING the same… it was so weird. I never went back for a yoga class, it kind of creeped me out.
Don’t go to this gym if you’re looking for a long term place to workout. It is not worth it. You will be disappointed. If you just ride the bike or the treadmill and leave, it will get the job done, but at that point just go to Workout World.

I honestly was going to try and give this place a 3 star rating because of the cleanliness of the locker room and gym. The showers curtains need to be replaced, the bathroom is never clean. The reason I’m giving this place a 1 star review is because my wife and I both complained to the manager about problems we had with the gym and the response we got was enough to make me want to explore better options.
One morning I was working out and a ceiling panel fell from the gym and crashed right next to me, I told the front desk and we worked together to move it, I called
Later that day to report it and the person who was on the phone with me was not too professional about it, they talked about the movie “Final Destination” and to count my blessings. He said that corporate would be notified. When I told the evening shift manager why I didn’t want to renew my membership, he said he never knew about the ceiling panel and that if I stuck it out, I could get one free month for me and a guest. Why would I bring a friend to a place that almost killed me? When he asked my wife what problems she had with the gym, she said she was tired of people taping Christian propaganda to the equipment. She would find things like “Jesus Saves” or “Don’t live in Sin, Find God.” He told her that there was nothing he could do about it. She also wanted to go to this gym specifically because she misses swimming but there are swim aerobics Mon, Tues, Thursday and the instructor tells everyone they have to leave the pool for 5 people, on top of the fact that they crank the pool to 83 degrees. It can take up to a day or two for the pool to get back to an appropriate temperature and I never knew sweating while being in water was possible until I tried to swim with my wife on a Monday before being kicked out for a very underwhelming amount of people that could clearly just do the class in one lane of the pool. When we went to yoga at the gym, people would still use the room to do aerobics and were not there for the class, there was room for them, not sure why the water aerobics instructor was fixated on having things her way or the highway.
All I can say is my positive experiences can be relaid to the 5am opener who was very undervalued and under appreciated by both the staff and gym members. He made that terrible place just a little bit better and I hope he finds me at the new gym I signed up for. Stay very far away from Esporta.

it’s a great gym like my workout here however, is extremely hot and unbearable conditions. I can barely breathe here in the summertime there is no air conditioning that is efficient ,which really makes it difficult to focus on my workout.

I went to Esporta with my friend who has a membership, she thought she was paying $60 a month to bring 2 guests with her, when we came in and she checked in the guy at the front desk was extremely disrespectful, rude, and not welcoming nor professional at all. He continued to inform us that she was paying for only herself in a very disrespectful manner. And when we were confused he started to belittle us and make us feel very uncomfortable.
