Deciding to work with Elizabeth has resulted in numerous unexpected improvements in my life. I expected if I was consistent I would eventually loose weight and feel better about myself. However, the most impactful changes I didn’t anticipate. For the last 10 months I have become a better person physically and mentally because of Elizabeth. She changed my life.

I am a 33 year old woman who has been wearing high heels daily for a span of 15 years. Without me realizing it, it caused a negative impact on my stability. When working out Elizabeth recommended, I only wear socks, to have a better grip on the floor. Only then did I see I could not keep my toes flat on the ground. With consistency and different exercises, I now can keep my feet planted on the floor.

I have been to physical therapy in the past for back related problems however I was told if I didn’t maintain physical activity outside of the exercises given; I would lose the progress I made. Since working with Elizabeth I haven’t had any back pain. She makes working out feel fun and not a chore. To think two years ago I woke up one day unable to get out of bed because I didn’t keep up with exercise. Now I never have back pain.

My skin cleared up because Elizabeth not only provides workout routines but volunteers an optional meal plan. I stopped eating whatever I wanted and started viewing eating right as a fun game to maintain. Along with proper skincare, eating better helped my face experience less breakouts.

Lastly the sense of community Elizabeth has brought me is unmatched. I knew I could lift a certain amount of weight and go to the gym somewhat frequently, but working with her brought it to the next level. I would not have been able to make the progress I have without her help. There have been weeks I gave up on myself. Despite me not doing my homework, Elizabeth didn’t give up on me. She has helped me regain trust in my own word.

I am encouraged to move forward. If I don’t deliver on the goals she set for me, we refocus and move forward without shame. I appreciate her being there for me on the easy days to cheer me on and the hard days to pick me up. Elizabeth is one person who I know will never give up on me, I needed it more she knows!

“How much are you willing to change to accomplish your goals?” That question, found on the Peak Physique intake form, took me by surprise and I had to take a few days to pause and think about it. My response ended up being, “I’m willing to work really hard with you for 3 months to see some sort of change.”

When I wrote that response, I felt like I was at the end of my rope with my fitness journey. I came in for a consultation with Elizabeth on May 16, 2025. Oddly enough, exactly 2 years prior, I had broken both of my feet in a freak accident. [An interesting coincidence!] As someone who enjoyed running and cycling, the injury was devastating. After 6 months, I was able to walk again, but my muscles had atrophied and I no longer had a workout routine. I would go through sporadic moments of excitement where I’d try to get back to my regular running and biking like the injury never happened. I failed over and over again. I’d go out too hard too quick. I’d get scared when something didn’t feel right. I didn’t have the energy I used to have. Eventually, a voice in my head began saying, “Maybe this just isn’t for me anymore”. So I stopped.

Life got comfortable. I ate whatever I wanted. I watched as much TV as I wanted. It was all comfortable until a family event or wedding came up. Suddenly, my clothes didn’t fit. A shopping trip had me feeling aggravated because I went up in sizes. And the worst of all was the photographs after the event. They emphasized how much I had changed, and not for the better. At times, I didn’t even recognize myself. Looking in the mirror, my mind felt clouded with the anxiety of “This is bad. Really bad. But, I don’t know what to do. I feel helpless.”

I have worked with trainers before, but never a personal trainer. Elizabeth has become yes, a personal trainer, but also a fitness mentor and friend that is supporting me every step of the way. She truly lives and breathes this stuff, and finds joy in helping you achieve your goals. What’s maybe most surprising is that she’s providing her clients with the same advice she provides to herself. She’s a pro at this point so her reps might be higher, and she might be adding additional challenges in for herself, but her meal plan is the same- and she’s doing this day in and day out just like you are. There is something to be said about going to a trainer and knowing that they’re enduring the same challenges you are. She gets it. She’s on this journey with you and fully knows how hard this work can be.

After almost 5 months with Elizabeth, I’ve changed a lot- and this time for the better. I have a workout routine, I log my food, and I even meal prep to some degree! I’ve lost weight that I never thought I would be able to lose. My clothes fit better, and I look more toned. When I look in the mirror, my mind is a bit calmer knowing that I have a plan to keep me on track. I’m physically standing taller and I have more confidence. There’s no way I would be seeing the results that I am if I was doing this on my own!

I have worked with a number of personal trainers over the years. I have never had a trainer who is as passionate and knowledgeable as Elizabeth.

She exceeds my expectations with every session. I have learned more from her in the few months of training than I have over a decade with other trainers and online sources. She will more than likely help correct your form on an exercise you thought you were doing correctly ❤️ and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.

I started training with Elizabeth shortly after I was cleared for exercise after having a C section with my youngest. I really just wanted that extra push to get in shape for my upcoming wedding. I wasn’t totally new to exercise, but I was relatively new to strength training, extremely out of practice, very out of shape, and had never worked with a personal trainer before so I had no idea what to expect. Elizabeth listened to my fitness goals, asked about my history, and together we created a plan. As inexperienced and out of shape as I was, Elizabeth was always careful to make sure I was doing things properly with the best form to ensure I wouldn’t hurt myself, but was always encouraging me to push myself to do hard things and set personal records I never thought possible. She’s helped me with nutrition - creating realistic meal plans for a busy working mom of 2 that’s always on the go - and always kept me accountable (which I NEED).

Fast forward 3 years… My wedding came and went and I’m still training with Elizabeth - but now with new, bigger, and more ambitious fitness goals. We’ve moved on to competitive body building training, complete with meal plans and posing classes. I have more strength now in my mid 30’s than I’ve ever had in my life. I feel great, I feel strong, I feel confident, and I owe all of that to Elizabeth. She has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone in so many aspects and I really can’t thank her enough.
