Recently got in some Hammer strenght equiptment and a preacher bar and bench. Wish the dumbbells went higher than 60 lbs. Moving in the right direction with the equipment though. Staff are nice, people keep to themselves. Often cleaning and vacuuming the floors and clean the equipment. Planet Fitness has just recently added new equipment that has made it even better. Some free weight equipment 2 squat racks with bars. Some total body workout machines. I'm impressed they keep making changes to keep up with the customers needs that's why I moved you from four to five stars.

Club is clean. Jordan, the manager is very good. Corporate needs to understand the one television that works in front of the treadmills is on Fox News, the other, off to the side is on some sort of ad. The other three slots are empty or broken.
7 TVs work on a variety of stations in front of the bathroom and rowing machines. They need to move them to a place that visibly can be shared. The treadmills are full of peopl with no one in front of the seven televisions. We only have Fox News to watch down here like it or not

Where to begin, few things the club can’t fix. So firstly some of the patrons forget its planet fitness not old school clubs like golds.it isn’t the place to try to be tough. You aren’t tough you’re going to planet fitness that says enough. Secondly you have come to work out not text or make phone calls. For the love of all that is holy work out so someone doesn’t have to wait 45 minutes for a squat rack/smith machine. Now as for the club it self, the equipment is dated. The size of the bench area is too small, along with the fact the benches are too close to the dumbells and this goes hand in hand with the issue of waiting for benches. There is by far too many issues with the treadmills there’s no issue or reason this club can’t get the new ones similar to the Warren pf. Lastly the floors, I suggest fixing them before someone gets savvy that if they fall on the torn rubber mat especially near the smith machines and leave in an ambulance they’ll have a nice settlement. I also do not suggest going between 4-8 it gets packed to the point of zero enjoyment.

Will probably be reporting this franchise to corporate. This is the only planet fitness that closes and reduces house over every little holiday, it’s the Monday after thanksgiving and they closed at 2pm 🤦‍♂️. They reduced hours from 24/5 to closing at 10pm on weekdays because of Covid but never brought back the old hours but most other ones in RI did that too. But the men’s bathroom is unbearably smelly at all times, there aren’t any air freshener sprayers or form of ventilation. The staff is great though, just a terrible franchise owner.

I have been a member of this location since 2010. A few months ago, while attempting to find a way to report bad management, my rights were violated. Management decided that I “broke policy” by calling 2 other locations (to find a way to get help with the issue that I wanted to report) and they cancelled my membership. PF policy states that members are allowed to report/complain about issues without retaliation. This was clearly retaliation. Apparently PF does not believe in upholding their policies nor do they believe in holding bad management accountable. Extremely disappointing to say the very least! I have always loved this location until this happened!

I have been taking my clients here for a year now. On Friday February 3rd the ‘manager’ James decided that I was not allowed on the floor with my client. I am there to assist them only not work out. I was trying to get my own membership and James was fully aware of that. I was even trying to get a free pass for the day as we could not get the membership to work. My client is special needs which is why I am there. James apparently has an issue with that. The other guy Alexander was trying to help me every way he could. That’s your job James! Instead the ‘manager’ decides that he can be rude to me. I had him speak with my boss and he said that it was written in the rules of the company and he would send a copy to my boss. Where is it James? I was told that I would be called back by the district manager and again nothing. Alexander asked me again if I would like to join. I politely declined saying that I would not pay to go to a place where they were discriminating against special needs people and also that James is not qualified for the job. James if you can’t work with people professionally (and you clearly can’t) then go find a job where no one else has to deal with you. You won’t be missed. I signed up at a different PF where my clients are welcome as well as myself. Alexander did a great job trying to help me but the ‘manager’ sucked at the job. No judgement zone means that you can’t decide who to judge. I will never go back there again and I am better off for it.

My Planet Fitness location is very clean and well-kept. Something is always being cleaned, they don't mess around in that department. The staff is friendly and helpful and always welcomes me when I arrive, and they acknowledge me on my way out as well. Machines are plentiful and there is rarely a wait for a piece of equipment unless you're there at peak busy times, which is easy to check with the app. Unlike a lot of places, they will help you if you need help but they won't bother you if you prefer to be left alone while you work out. I always feel a lot better after my workout even on the days I don't feel like working out!

I’ve been coming to this gym since opening day. I love it here, it is huge and clean and The staff is very friendly and pleasant. My only gripe is that I’ve witnessed on several occasions( more than 20 times), while in the locker room how many people relieve themselves in the bathroom and don’t wash their hands! And now they’re going back out onto the floor to use the equipment. I know there’s no way of enforcing this and it happens everywhere I’m sure. It’s just disgusting how many people do this. Maybe they could put a sign inside the stall for those people who don’t feel that they should wash their hands after using the bathroom.

The faciltiy is well-maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The equipment is kept in decent working condition. The clientele is mostly older, respectful professionals from the surrounding neighborhood. I do have to wear headphones to drown out loud conversations some of them have with each other and on their cellphones while working out. But that's my only criticism. It's really a fantastic gym all around.

Great place to work out! It’s clean, well maintained and the staff are always friendly. As I’ve heard people say, a workout routine is what you make of it. I have weights at home and like to run outside as often as possible. But my “go-to” machine is the arc trainer and I use the treadmill when the weather doesn’t cooperate. PF provides everything I need to stay consistent, and I’ve lost about 60lbs since I joined in early 2020.

He's some big shoes to fill at PF, let me tell you. None of the 5am weekly staff that I see when I'm there engage or talk to gym members or clean equipment like he did. (The equipment and place is clean, however. COVID cleaning regulations are surely met.) They mostly stare at the computer or hide in the back. Hopefully, that will change...

Great fitness club. It's clean, cheap and the staff is very friendly. It seems like the staff is always cleaning something. You will also see staff members move the machines and equipment to clean underneath them. There is plenty of equipment especially when it comes to cardio. When I go it seems like there are no muscle heads there. Just regular people trying to get into or stay in shape. It also seems like it is always open no matter what day or time.
