I got the month of unlimited classes at RI Hot Yoga in PVD. Overall I had an okay experience. I enjoyed my classes. Gretchen, Honore, and Kelly were really nice instructors and did great. I enjoyed their classes. Unfortunately the policy of locking the door was a bit frustrating. One day I walked into the lobby at 7:02 (class was at 7) and I was denied entry. The receptionist (Luca) had a passive aggressive demeanor that wasn’t empathetic to our circumstances whatsoever. The fee was waived but overall the service provided felt very standoffish and my mom and I didn’t appreciate that at all. Unfortunately due to this policy and lack of a small grace period, I decided to move forward with a different studio. I hope this policy can be shifted a bit in the future for people who are within a five minute window or so. (Life happens!! Two minutes shouldn’t cost me my hour of yoga!)

Yesterday, I had an amazing experience of red light therapy in the fire room, followed by a fun, upbeat yoga class to music with teacher demonstration. I have not been that relaxed in a long time. The combination is phenomenal. I was almost too relaxed for yoga after the red light therapy, so you may want to go to the fire room after a yoga or pilates class.

I recently discovered hot yoga on vacation and immediately searched for it home in RI. Rhode Island Hot Yoga jumped out at me and I decided to do a trial month. It did not disappoint! From the instructors to the space, it is a great place to do yoga, whether it is heated or not. I look forward to my practice and am so happy I found this studio!

I had been struggling to find a studio that I enjoyed and that had classes that fit into my schedule. I attended their Maine retreat last summer and now I am there several times a week. I love this studio! Great selection of classes for all types of levels and the instructors are all very helpful and accommodating of different bodies.

What the world needs now is love…and Rhode Island Hot Yoga! The community is diverse and inclusive. People of all shapes and sizes, aged from teens to seniors, and all levels of ability come here.
2 studios in Providence and Bristol offer a variety of classes…heated or non heated from 6am- 8:30 pm, 7 days a week, 45 minutes-1.5 hours long, with or without weights, with or without music. There is plenty of free parking.
The Rhode Island Hot Yoga Boutique located in the building has a great variety of super cute yoga clothes and gear and gifts. Local artisans are featured. Stop in before or after class to peruse the goods.
Ok, now for the yoga.
Heated classes include Original Hot Yoga (Bikram) which is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The intermediate class has more postures and fun stuff like arm balances.
Core Fire Conditioning is a high intensity, low impact workout that will change the shape of your body. This class is also offered with weights and resistance bands. Don’t be afraid to try it…it’s so fun!
Hells Bells is a core fire class with kettlebells.
Be afraid.
Yoga sculpt is a vinyasa flow class with weights. It is offered heated or non heated. Especially good for toning flabby arms.
There is a full schedule of nonheated classes.
Brian’s bootcamp is cardio and strength training with weights and kettlebells. This class is next level butt kicking.
Bring it down a few notches and try
Ghoosh yoga. It is one of the yogas that Original Hot Yoga is based upon.
Slow Burn is a flow that generates internal heat.
Yin yoga is a series of stretches and poses held for 3-5 minutes.
Yoga For Hips and Back focuses on releasing tension in those areas.
Stretch and mobility loosens up your body and gets your stiff body moving.
Rhode Island Hot Yoga also has an amazing Wellness Center in the Providence location.
Massage therapy, Infrared sauna, & Red light therapy are what you need to take a break and take care of YOU.
Rhode Island Hot Yoga has all you need to be your best self. Come check it out! 🙏🏼❤️

Rhode Island Hot Yoga has truly been a game changer for me. The instructors are not only incredibly inclusive but also so well-trained, always prioritizing the holistic health of everyone in class. I never would have guessed that I'd become a “yogi,” but now I can confidently say I find myself craving the hot room! The experience has exceeded all my expectations, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found RIHY.

Rhode Island Hot Yoga is a great studio. The community is supportive. The instructors are caring and helpful. The one thing I will say is that the classes are not as hot as they used to be and the temp is inconsistent (depending on how many students are in the room and the weather/humidity outside). I definitely don't sweat like I used to. But if the class is full, you can burn some calories. There is a lot to choose from when it comes to class offerings, especially with both locations.

As I'm approaching my 2 yr Anniversary at this studio, I cannot believe how long it has taken me to write a review! This studio, with all of its wonderful teachers and students, has changed my life. Plan and simple. It's like a second home to me, and I'm always finding ways to work it into my crazy schedule with a toddler. Since the addition of yin and inferno hot Pilates being a regular on the class rotation- it makes it that much easier. It's hard to explain how the heat and the meditation changes you in the 26 postures,b it just does. Everyone should try it at least once! Even if you hated it (like I did the first time 6 years ago) you have to go back and give it a second chance. I did and never turned back! I had been in 2 car accidents where I was rear-ended back in 2011. However after countless chiropractor visits that did help, my consistent hot yoga practice is what truly healed my back in the end. I am pain free to this day. Please go check out Rhode Island Hot Yoga, the community and awesome positive environment is worth it every time! Thank you Juliana!

Am I a teacher? Yes, but did I start as a student? Yes. This studio is incredible. Becoming a student here changed my life - after years of practice, I decided to get certified to teach several styles and change my entire career so I could be more involved with yoga, fitness, and the community that Rhode Island Hot Yoga has built at both of its studios. It's taught me so much about my mind and my body, and there are so many styles and classes offered that the learning journey will never end. Also, I'm a little biased, but the people who work here also make it the safest and most comfortable place to start or continue your wellness journey. No pressure. No judgement. No expectations. Just happy people doing happy things.

I love this place! Not just a yoga studio, I feel like a part of a community when I'm here. This studio has been a place of deep healing and growth for me since I've started attending classes regularly over the past couple years. Very lovely and diverse set of folx who come to take classes and the staff are friendly and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the best things about this studio is that you can show up exactly as you are. Truly welcoming to newcomers, the teachers are all very kind, flexible, and offer up multiple versions of poses to fit different bodies and abilities, and are always happy to give 1:1 assistance with poses or modifications.
When I first started coming here for non-heated classes about two years ago I thought I would try to make it to maybe 1-3 classes/wk, but now I am hooked and go almost every day! I can really feel the difference in my body since before I started attending classes regularly. I feel so much stronger, more flexible, and I have fewer aches and pains on the day to day. I'm in my 40s so this has been an enormous benefit for me!
Good to know:
-It's more than just yoga and more than just hot yoga! They also have non-heated yoga classes, a red light sauna, massage, and a cute boutique in the front with yoga clothes, supplies as well as art, crafts, jewelry, tea and other goodies made by local vendors! They even host community events like sound baths, open mics, karaoke, and more!
-They offer a "warm welcome" package that is an amazing deal for first-timers or anyone who wants to try out the studio. There are different versions depending on whether you're more interested in the classes, wellness center or both, but I did the one that offers unlimited classes for one month at a significant discount and was immediately hooked! It also helped to push me to try out different classes I might not have otherwise and helped me build relationships with the teachers and other students.
If you're on the fence I highly recommend coming in and giving it a try!

I started coming to this studio a couple of months ago and love it! They have a nice variety of classes and I go for the more fitness focused ones (core fire, yoga sculpt, hells bells). The instructors are excellent and the overall studio is very welcoming. I like that you can buy packs of classes as I travel a fair amount so prefer that option to a monthly membership. My only regret is not checking out the studio sooner!

I've been attending RI Hot Yoga for the last month enjoying one of their generous trial memberships, and I think I'm hooked. Try this studio; you won't regret it. I started going in 2019 because their class schedule fit my busy schedule, ranging from 6AM-730PM. Even better, they offer remote classes for when I'm traveling. I quickly saw improvements in my strength and flexibility. Unlike other gyms I've been to, there is no aggressive sales, no unhealthy standards or pressure - the message they put forward all the time is to do what you can with the body you have today. It is a very diverse, welcoming, and encouraging atmosphere. Better yet, they added a wellness center with sauna, massages, and reiki. Also, there are many payment options to fit any budget. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for a supportive fitness environment

I have been a member since 2019 but my attendance was not consistent, only managing to come once a week at best. That was UNTIL July 2023, something clicked within me, and I made a commitment to fully immerse myself in the practice. Since then, I have been attending classes at least five times per week, exploring a variety of offerings such as Original Hot Yoga, Core Fire Conditioning, and Hells Bells.
The dedication I have demonstrated over the past four months has been truly transformative. Not only have I experienced incredible physical and mental benefits, but I have also managed to shed some weight. Rhode Island Hot Yoga has provided me with a supportive and motivating environment, propelling me towards my health and wellness goals. Every instructor adds their own flare to my practice, and I love them!
Another aspect that I appreciate about Rhode Island Hot Yoga is the flexibility in class scheduling. With both the Bristol and Providence studios offering ample parking, it is convenient for individuals to find time to attend classes. There is a wide range of classes available, starting as early as 6:00 AM and extending until 7:30 PM. This ensures that regardless of one's schedule, there is always an opportunity to participate.
The Providence studio offers additional amenities such as massage, sauna, red light therapy, and a hot room for personalized, one-on-one instruction. These features truly elevate the overall experience and contribute to the holistic approach of Rhode Island Hot Yoga.
I wholeheartedly recommend Rhode Island Hot Yoga to anyone seeking a transformative and supportive yoga experience.

I love doing yoga at RIHY because this form of yoga suits me really well for both mind and body, and RIHY is a really well-run studio with welcoming, helpful and professional instructors leading the yoga. The original hot yoga series, aka "26 + 2" is the best way I've found to quiet an overactive mind and it's physically challenging enough to get a great workout. I've recently started taking the yin yoga classes which I love for the extreme relaxation I feel after taking them. Core Fire Conditioning is a serious strength workout that is fun and high energy. The studio is immaculate and staff always helpful. The studio has many additional services that I hope to try soon like red-light therapy and massages! They have a nice store to get high quality gear as well. I highly recommend RIHY -- if you are thinking of trying hot yoga, give them a try!

If you’re looking for a welcoming community, this is it. I joined RIHY in 2020 with zero experience or flexibility, and the Providence studio has become my second home. Everyone is so wonderful. The instructors are very down to earth and encouraging. There is zero pressure to be perfect here. All the classes are awesome, but I especially love Hot Yoga Mixtape (Original Hot Yoga set to music) and Core Fire Conditioning (a mix of HIIT and Pilates). The heat feels amazing, and you can sweat out all the stress from your day. RIHY also offers lots of fun events (sound baths, Pride parade, etc) and retreats. The Costa Rica retreat quite literally changed my life. I am forever thankful I stumbled upon this gem of a studio. The staff and my fellow yogis have become like family. Highly recommend checking it out whether you’re looking to practice yoga or just be a part of something and improve your mental health.

The hot yoga mixtape class is great if you already have a strong hot yoga practice. Would not recommend to first time visitors because there is limited verbal instruction and it will be hard to follow. The Yin Yoga and Slow Burn non-heated classes are my favorites, especially when led by instructor Brittany Carroll, who has a gentle but focused approach. Her classes are meditative, but challenging and she’s a warm and welcoming instructor. Only 4 stars because the hot yoga classes on weekdays are at inconvenient times. 5pm is a tough time to make if you work regular business hours and 7pm feels too late (for me) to be vigorously exercising.

Went to “original hot yoga” class and I have to say it was the least original hot yoga I have ever done. It was not a flow, we just held poses for 10 seconds then moved on to another random pose that did not connect. We also did mini savasanas in between each pose, which I really did not like made me feel like I was going to pass out at the beginning of each pose switching from laying done back up to a pose was very weird. Not sure who’s class this was, or if this is the style of all classses, but it was not for me.

Despite the inclusive marketing (BLACK LIVES MATTER/PRIDE Flags), the studio is a white supremacist establishment (look at their team). I was the first and last queer nonbinary BIPOC of the studio. When I brought up racism in the establishment to the owner by other staff, Juliana minimized my experience and told me I was not the only queer person in the place. (She doesn't see race?!) Being the only 'Hot Yoga' (26+2) studio in the state, I thought I would just keep my head in the sand. It only got worse. I was bullied by Juliana herself. I received an email stating that MY sweat, no one else's, was the problem regarding her floors (I have the receipts). That my sweat was a problem, in a Hot Yoga studio?! When I quit because my other job, 12hr night shifts in the Emergency Department at a local hospital, didn't allow me to be on RIHY's schedule, I was asked to not return. I asked to be placed on the sublist, since I have worked there since 2018 and developed a huge following with many students. Her response was to return my keys. Think twice before supporting RIHY.

I can’t say enough good things about RIHY and the staff. The yoga itself has had so many great benefits for my mind and body. The staff are not only kind and friendly, but they are supportive, engaging and challenging - truly great teachers.
This is my favorite yoga studio.

Was traveling and stopped in. I’ve been practicing hot yoga ten years. This studio was very welcoming. Excellent teacher and prettiest and cleanest studio I’ve ever seen. I was in awe of the studio. I’ve been to about a dozen studios around the US and this was by far the best.

I was visiting from Texas when I attended classes on a 21-day pass and I enjoyed every moment of my experiences here. The Hot Pilates classes were my favorite and also a killer (in the best way imaginable), but the Yin Yoga classes are an excellent follow-up. After an hour of high intensity muscle contractions in the Pilates class, the opening up and lengthening of the muscles in the Yin Yoga class will be needed and highly beneficial for your body's recovery. With two locations and a group of beautifully dedicated instructors, you will not regret attending anything that RI Hot Yoga has to offer.

The studio is very welcoming, the space is very clean, the staff are all very pleasant and friendly. I have practiced a few years ago in the Philippines where I originally come from, but had to stop for cancer treatments. Going back to it, after a few years of non-practice is like starting all over again. Today was my 3rd class, and so far, all the instructors I've had (Alice, Liza and Zabi) were awesome. They are very skilled at teaching, very encouraging and very patient. I feel blessed to have found a perfect studio. It feels good to be there.

This is such a wonderful studio. It is large and clean, offering plenty of space for changing/showering. The staff is always pleasant and polite and the classes and instructors have been awesome and motivating! Not to mention a great selection of classes/times which means you are never practicing in a jam packed class with no room! So peaceful! ❤️

This “boutique” studio is situated in a neat, refurbished mill in Providence. You are warmly welcomed upon arrival in this peaceful place. Bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms as well as common area are neatly appointed. The studio reflects the antiquity of the mil with white painted brick and strings of little lights. The environment is serene and student centered. Verbal instruction and explanation of the function of the pose was appreciated. As a beginner, I watch the more proficient students to process the information. The instructors are willing to give helpful hints to individuals for best results. You will leave feeling mentally and physically empowered!

I am loving my time at RI Hot Yoga. It has been challenging but so well worth it. I love all it is teaching me about being present, being good to my body and ultimately myself. So much wisdom is gained from this practice. I am loving all of the teachers but in particular Bill. Bill has this amazing energy and love for yoga and each student that you can't help but want to keep coming back.
