A must visit place when in Rhode Island. The grass courts are a beautiful site. The museum has special memorabilia from many past and present players.

Enjoyed a great day at the Tennis Hall of Fame watching the Men's ATP finals. Beautiful grounds and an amazing set up - pulls you back in time a bit for sure...
Paid parking lots nearby and some street parking too.

The stories within the grounds of this museum. Where it all started in 1881 first US tennis tournamentβ¦ that eventually became the US Open. These courts are open to the public for a fee of course. If you ever wanted to play some lawn tennis what better place to start than here. Itβs a great museum for any tennis fan or Newport/RI history πΎ

Very interesting place to visit if you have interest in tennis. Many displays of racquets, balls, outfits, and the evolution of the game. Lots of history on the greats of the sport.
They have 13 grass courts that you can rent. The courts are in great condition.
We spent over two hours in the facility.
There is an admission charge.

Lovely cute museum with a lot of historic artifacts and details about the history of the game and its evolution. There are videos and VR station and nice gist store. It's all situated really in a nice presentation in a beautiful place around the historic grass court in the middle. If you like tennis don't miss it.

If this place has Andy Rodick as an inductee, I am never going there even though I love the sport of tennis. You lost me there. I guess anyone can enter the hall of fame of tennis. Just one major tournament and a few weeks as world's number one. True. Andy Roddick had the misfortune of playing in the same era as Roger Federer, otherwise, he could have at least 7 majors, but numbers are numbers and merit should not be given on what ifs.
