You Need to show up 20 minutes before class to get a decent spot. Jam pack 25 people in a studio that's smaller than my bedroom. The instructors are all pretentious, so many better studios in PVD.

I attended an all levels hot vinyasa class and felt so comfortable being a beginner surrounded by such talented yogis! Would highly recommend any class with any teacher! The atmosphere is so welcoming and positive.

This is my church. This is my sacred space, where I go to see people who see me back, hug me when I’m happy and hug me harder when I’m sad. So much more than a yoga studio - I can’t believe I haven’t written this review sooner.

I’ve been going to West Side Yoga for a few years, typically once a week to Danielle’s sculpt class. She brings depth, kindness, and FUN to my life. I’m eternally grateful. Thank you for existing, Danielle and West Side Yoga. I love you.

By far my favorite yoga studio I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. I’ve tried almost every class offered and they’ve all been phenomenal. I came here when I first EVER started my yoga practice and every single class I began with (beginner/all levels/restorative type) were perfect and the instructors are incredible at allowing everyone to follow along and understand what’s happening. If you’re new to yoga or are more advanced, this studio will be a great fit

What they advertise as “beginner friendly” or “all levels” yoga is definitely NOT friendly for people just starting out. Super frustrating and embarrassing going in and having to leave class because I couldn’t physically keep up with the instructor. Do a better job of labeling your classes!!

I am a new customer and tried a flow and reset class here and it was just amazing. I was intimidated by the heat (this class was heated to 92°), but it was a very enjoyable experience. My instructor was super helpful and put together such a great flow of poses. And it’s super moderately priced for a high quality yoga studio. I highly recommend.

I joined West Side Yoga in October 2024 as a complete beginner, having never tried yoga before. Since then, every single class I’ve taken has been absolutely brilliant. No matter who you are or what your experience level is, West Side Yoga is an incredibly welcoming space with knowledgeable, kind instructors who are truly passionate about yoga and building a supportive community.

It’s also one of the most affordable memberships in Providence, offering a great variety of class types and times in both heated and non-heated studios. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a beginner looking for the perfect place to start your practice, I couldn’t recommend West Side Yoga more!

*West Side Yoga or nowhere*

I can't thank this place enough for the incredible experience I've had. Walking through their doors felt like entering a world of tranquility and positivity. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also radiate a genuine passion for yoga that's truly inspiring. Moreover, each class feels like a personalized journey, helping me not only physically but also mentally. My flexibility and inner peace have improved in ways I couldn't have imagined.

For anyone seeking an authentic and transformative yoga practice, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I’m a very active person and I love venturing out to all different local yoga and exercise studios. I’ve even visited places in other states and nothing compares to West Side Yoga. The instructors, the clients, the area, the space, the owners are literal gems. 100/10. Five stars isn’t enough. They really embody true meaning of yoga practice and what is it to provide a safe space!!! If you’re new or experienced, great space.

I came to West Side Yoga with the typical expectations of joining a new yoga studio-- a good workout, some nice people, and peace of mind. Not only did I get ALL of that, but this space and community has somehow become the foundation for an incredible transformation in my life.

Being a part of West Side Yoga is so much more than just taking a few yoga classes. It's like discovering a second home where you're welcomed with open arms every time you step through the doors. The people in this community are like no other. From the instructors to the fellow practitioners, there's an unparalleled sense of warmth and support that radiates throughout the studio.

The instructors at West Side Yoga are not only knowledgeable and skilled in their craft, but they also have an uncanny ability to create an atmosphere that encourages growth, both physically and mentally. They tailor their guidance to various skill levels, ensuring that beginners feel comfortable while challenging the more experienced yogis. I've never felt judged or inadequate here; instead, I've been met with patience and encouragement every step of the way. So much so, that they inspired me to get my own teaching certificate!

But it's not just the instructors that make West Side Yoga exceptional; it's the fellow practitioners who truly create the magic. The sense of community here is tangible. Strangers quickly become friends, and it's no surprise to find yourself striking up conversations with people who share the same passion for yoga and personal development. The support that flows within these walls is something truly special. Whether it's a challenging pose or a tough day outside the studio, the West Side Yoga community is there to lift you up.

This studio has become a sanctuary for my mind and body. The serene ambiance, soothing music, and carefully designed space all contribute to an environment where I can truly let go and connect with my inner self. The moment I step through the doors and onto my mat, the worries of the world fade away, and I'm reminded of the power of mindfulness and self-care.

West Side Yoga isn't just a yoga studio; it's a haven of positive energy, personal growth, and unwavering support. It's a place where I've not only enhanced my physical well-being but also found a tribe of kind-hearted individuals who have become friends for life. If you're looking for more than just a workout, if you're seeking a community that uplifts you in every way imaginable, then West Side Yoga is the place to be. This studio has exceeded every expectation, and I'm beyond grateful to have discovered such a gem. If I could give more than 5 stars, I'd give a million...

I absolutely love this studio! The teachers, staff, and owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and there is a unique focus on community building.

When it comes to the yoga, the caliber of the classes is unlike any other place I’ve been (this includes studios in much larger cities). The teachers are all well trained, carefully selected, and enthusiastic. They show knowledge and respect for yoga as a practice as well as a deep understanding of the physical body and the mind body connection. I’ve done a variety of the classes they offer with many different instructors and always leave this studio feeling both physically and mentally refreshed.

And I can’t forget to mention that the space is beautiful with lots of natural light and excellent heating elements for the heated classes. It is also kept extremely clean!

I am in love with everything about this studio — the teachers, the ambiance, the location — EVERYTHING! This is the type of yoga studio where you feel immediately welcome and like you’re a part of the community. The teachers have always created a safe space, where I’ve felt like I can set my mat down, practice and unwind; they always allow for personal variations and are constantly aware of students’ different needs. Did I mention the studio is heated? The way my muscles relax and stress melts away during class is unmatched! I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Love this sweet community!

There is no yoga studio more special than WSY! It brings such an incredible & welcoming community to the west side of Providence. Every class and instructor is unique, thoughtful, inclusive, and fun while helping students grow in their practice. Plus, there are so many types of classes offered that there is always something new to explore! I joined the studio when I moved to Providence and have made so many great friends because of WSY. The absolute best yoga studio in Providence! There is an instructor for everyone. If you are looking for more of a strength based work out, check out yoga sculpt, if you are in need for a more relaxing flowy class, check out slow flow (Caitlin is AMAZING), and my favorite is West Side Flow! West side flow focuses on a different chakra each week and the flow focuses on area of the body/mind. You will not be disappointed. There is nothing better then when a business owner shows up and clearly puts everything they have into their business.

I have been a community member and teacher at a number of yoga studios in RI & MA and it NEEDS to be said that West Side Yoga is by far one of the most welcoming, professional and supportive studios I have ever had the pleasure of entering. Every teacher is incredibly knowledgeable and has their unique style of teaching and the class menu is outstanding. Whether you’re looking for a gentle space to rest your head or a vigorous class to challenge you, West Side has something for every student. I feel like it also needs to be said that the yoga studio industry can be incredibly exploitative of its teachers and WSY stands OUT by paying their teachers a fair and living wage while also providing community support beyond anything I have experienced elsewhere. I love this studio and this community with my whole heart- but that’s just me. Come try it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

I can't imagine doing yoga anywhere else! All of these teachers go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, welcome you into the space, and give you modifications so you never feel like you're over-extending yourself or don't belong in a particular class. Each teacher is candid with the class and really makes you feel like a friend learning from a friend. If you haven't been, this is your sign to go! So many different class formats (my personal favorite is Slow Flow with Caitlin/Maria and Power Vinyasa with Corey) but you really can't go wrong with whichever class/teacher you choose.

The space is decorated SO nicely, local artists have done murals, plants hanging in the corners and infrared heat are such big bonuses. Run, don't walk to go here!!

West Side is one of my favorite spaces to be in. Yoga can be intimidating sometimes and here it’s not the case. The instructors are all beautiful people who make the room so much warmer and welcoming. Danielle telling us the story of the origin of some poses or Shireena singing to us are my favorite experiences. The different levels and variety of classes offer so much if you’re just trying to stretch it out or conquer your next pose. You won’t catch me on my mat elsewhere.

If you're looking for a studio that has something for everyone... come here. The best part about WSY is being able to take a challenging class when you want, a slower class when you need, or something in bewteen. I am almost 50 classes into being a member here and I wish I had started sooner. It's given me such a routine and really helped me move my body! Can't recomend it enough!

Amazing instructors and in a great part of West Providence. Would highly recommend the power vinyasa classes or if you like a little more of a workout, the sculpt classes are amazing as well. Just be aware that parking can sometimes be difficult, but that is not the businesses fault. There’s some on carpenter street and the studio also has access to the lot directly across from it. Just be careful of parking remotely close to the driveways of some of the neighbors…they will yell at you.

I am a big fan of the power vinyasa and weights/cardio type of classes; a really good work out. They give you so much attention (they ask if you’re cool with it first, they’ll leave you alone if you don’t like being touched or corrected) but it’s practically like having personal trainers. There are slower classes if you like a more relaxed pace but I’m a huge fan of a good calorie-burning kinda class.
I’m obsessed. I had been walking by for a while but was feeling too shy to sign up but a friend told me it was a cool spot owned by nice people and the 30 days for $30 intro deal got me. A great way to try every instructor to find out who’s right for you. I love pretty much every person I’ve had so far and mostly just figured out the types of classes I like to attend instead.
There’s Wi-Fi available, filtered water bottle refill station, a restroom (with little amenities in there like body wipes for post-hot yoga, feminine products, hair elastics etc) and a private changing room as well as storage space for 18 and there are some things for purchase as well like kombucha, t shirts, hats, sage, crystals and little odd gifts like puzzles(?) and stuff. They seem to have yoga mats available you can borrow (but I bring my own so I never asked about them)

I don’t drive so I never have to think about parking but it’s a mostly residential area so there always seem to be a couple of spots in front and on the sides of the building.
I literally love it here. The intro deal is 🤌🏻💋
If you’re thinking about it, you should definitely try it.
I felt awkward coming in here to sign up at first but I checked the website to see the class times, showed up ready to go 15 minutes before the class time and was all taken care of.
There’s an app you can use called Mindbody to see the class times; you arrive a few minutes early and everything is very easy (the door to the front desk entrance is not the front glass door but rather the door on the left side next to the apartment entrance)
