I loved this gym the past 4 years. Most of the staff is awesome, especially my main man who keeps the gym clean every morning. Another who works the desk early mornings with glasses is a close second. Over the course of the four years, they have increased the price of the membership three times, with the most recent increase going from 160 a year to 350 a year. In those four years, the only new equipment has been two squat racks With dead lift platforms. Machines will go unfixed for weeks or months at a time, with rips in the material sometimes almost a year. No justification whatsoever for the cost increase.

I probably would have gotten over the price increase if it were not for what I heard the manager say after I tried to inquire about being grandfathered in at my current price. Another member overheard her telling a coworker that she was going to “get me“. As in she was going to convince me to pay the 350. For me, that was the last nail in the coffin. I had spoken with this manager for years prior to her receiving her managerial role. I would extend advice and even counsel her when she was breaking down in tears over some personal matters. To say something like that just revealed her true nature. Fake. I’ll never step foot in this gym again.

This gym is ridiculous. You pay $30+ dollars a month , far more a planet fitness or similar gym. Yet, they have the audacity to not once in the years ive been going there turn on the ac once. So if your looking for a large sauna facility that you can literally just drip sweat standing there all summer this is the one for you. Its not even they don't just turn the ac on they are too cheap to power on any of the regular ceiling fans that there is like 8 of. As I stand in here sweating in 100 degree weather staring at them all off.

Further, nearly half of the equipment is in some state of disrepair with all the cardio machines out of order, grinding, slipping, knobs missing , no grease on anything. Like get it together or sell the franchise to someone that will upkeep it.

Planet fitness is literally the same price and you get access to massage chairs, hydro massage beds , half off drinks. The drink vending machines here also both never work at all so good luck if you forget water bottle.

They dont allow you to just cancel. You have to literally cancel your membership by mail only after paying it for the month because you have to do it within 30 days. Horrible business. They continue to bill you until the received the mail. Better off going right across the street to planet fitness. FAR BETTER GYM.

I would not recommend this gym due to their unfair billing practices and lack of accountability. I was on a month-to-month membership (no contract) and submitted my 45-day written cancellation notice in July 2025. I also stopped using the gym before my cancellation notice was even submitted.

Despite this, they tried to charge me for an additional full month of dues for time I would not be using the facility. I offered to pay my past due balance in good faith, but they refused and demanded more. Their billing company, ABC Fitness Solutions, kept pointing the finger back at the gym, while the gym avoided addressing the issue altogether.

I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau — but WOW/ABC did not respond within 30 days, showing they are not interested in resolving disputes fairly.

Consumers deserve transparency and honesty. If you’re considering joining this gym, please be aware of their strict cancellation policy, vague billing terms, and unwillingness to work with members when disputes arise.

This will be the most honest review about this gym you will see. I’ve been going to this gym for about a year now and I will say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best gym in the country. Very very clean, Dan goes out of his way to deep clean everywhere and he always says hello when he sees me. All the employees are very friendly. They have every machine you could ever ask for. I’ve lost over 50 lbs and I will say if I did not switch to this gym I would not have had this much success. I constantly see the employees working out on there off days which is cool to see. I’m very introverted so I don’t talk a lot to people and I keep my head phones on but I always get greeted when I come in and when I leave. I’ve never had one issue with anyone in the gym no gym bros no egos just people who want to live a healthier life. I know most people will not read this whole thing but I will say this again this is the best gym anyone could ask for.

3 stars because I’ve been coming in for two weeks and not one day have they turned the fans on. Not sure if they don’t work or what… a gym NEEDS fans.. I overheat everytime I’m in there. Also please enforce the rule of not slamming weights because I’ve seen several men do their entire workouts slamming the weights so far onto the ground they could easily hurt someone. One of the most frustrating parts is not being able to adjust the equipment because it’s so old it’s either rusty or just stuck. So men can easily grab and move them but as a woman, I can’t.

I came here and bought a one-day pass. This gym does not have a steam room, which was disappointing to learn since that was why I came, and the sauna it does have is not great. But, I was really impressed with the size and equipment in the main area, and the front desk employee was really helpful. I would sign up here before Planet Fitness across the street, but that is based on many nights there and only one night here.

Been scammed by this gym multiple times. I cancelled my membership here and was still charged a $60 annual fee, and two months of membership at $20 each. So much for no contract and no commitment. It’s all lies. They hide behind this billing company ABC Financial services and the the billing company gaslights you by saying to talk to the club. Nobody takes any responsibility or cares about customer service. I called the location and asked when the last day I could cancel was due to me moving out of state. They told me it was on december 18th. I went into the club to cancel on that day. They told me I should have cancelled on the 16th to avoid initial charges. Do not sign any of the contracts or anything (there’s about 20 pages of them) without reading every line. Absolute scam and there’s better gyms in the area for around the same price.

I haven’t used this gym in well over 3 months as I have moved out of state and I’m still getting repeatedly charged. I called into cancel and then went to the gym in person to cancel as well. I filled out some paperwork I was told my membership was canceled and that I will no be charged however I’m still getting charged… I called them and they play stupid and tell me that I still owe the remaining balance. WOW gym itself isn’t bad however after dealing with the company they use for personal training I’m having major issues. Redwood Personal Training does SHADY business. I advise anyone who is considering it to not. It has been so difficult to get in touch with someone who is in charge at Redwood to get resolution. The trainers come and go as well as the managers. In the past few months I’ve encountered about 6 different staff members. There is no consistency. At this point the company owes me money and I’m still seeking resolution. Again I advise against signing up with this company.

Will be ending my membership here because members complain too much. You can’t do anything here might as well call it planet fitness and have a pitty lunk alarm. I’m an individual that literally comes in, plug in my headphones and focus on my training, don’t really mingle and the manager has now brought up sooo many issues to me that involve my presence at the gym. Canceling is too much of a hassle here, and their personal training program isn’t worth the money at all. I invested a lot of money into the personal training program and my goal was to develop education on how to work out in a healthy way so I don’t hurt myself trying to change my lifestyle, and I honestly don’t feel like I learned much in regards to how much money I invested. There were also times where I started late with my trainer because they were running late with another client and I didn’t get the full time I had paid for due to poor time management on their part. After they reopened from the COVID quarantine there was no communication of that and by that point I had totally forgotten about my membership. I noticed a few weeks ago I was still being charged so I tried to call and cancel. I was given the run around and spoken to as if I was a burden. Zach Krulik was super phenomenal, took me through an intense 30 minute work that was super difficult to get through ! We had an developed conversation with many goals and objectives to overcome. Very clean gym. I've been a member for over 7 years. I love the women's workout room and the new personal training room. My trainer Ryan Handlin is hands down the best trainer I have had (I have had 5 over the years). Don’t ever get a membership here if you think you’ll cancel. I was told I would be signed for a single year contract because it’s mandatory even if I was going with a friend. Two years later, I’ve only gone the ONE TIME and have been trying to cancel ever since. I called another location about cancellation because I was still being charged and have tried canceling since I can’t afford the gym. Turns out, they lied and told me that I was on the monthly membership and that this location is known for doing this to people. I was then told to send and email and upon doing so and waiting for a reply, I was charged AGAIN and told I’d STILL have to do the paperwork even though I was informed I wouldn’t have to if I sent an email. This is the second time I have gone through the cancelation process with WoW. The first time it was because I had moved and it took over 6 months to finally have my paper work filed and be refunded the money they CONTINUED to charge me.
This time I'm cancelling because I have not USED the gym AT ALL for roughly 3 YEARS! And I am now a fulltime student with no income to pay for the membership. I have made several attempts to cancel my membership and I have even gone to the extent to cancel the card it was automatically charging.
Now they are calling me every day-when I told them months ago I want to cancel my account. ABC financial gives you the run around. And NOW I have just been charged the annual fee of 49.99 while in the process of canceling.... so I'm expected to pay the annual fee even tho I'm canceling- explain that to me.
Also I signed up in 2014 so i was given the wrong information from multiple people because the agreements have changed since then.
Also because I cant pay it off in fill I will continue to get late charges until its paid in full.
Never again will I sign up with them.
Sad because it was a nice gym- I liked the ladies only section.
Also, the people you speak to on the phone from ABC financial- dont care.
WoW should change agencies.

The worst experience I ever had! Let’s just starts by saying their staff is terrible! My very 1st time in I had to tell them to give me a tour. Long story short I ended up canceling my membership because it was just more affordable stay at Planet Fitness. I was under the impression $20 included babysitting, however it does not. So I been there ONE time and that same day I cancelled. APPARENTLY they wasn’t doing their job and my paperwork was NEVER SENT over and I been charged repeatedly since then. The employees care more about talking to their friends in this place. I asked for 1 favor and the employee completely forgot because she was too busy talking to her friend. I didn't even bother reminding her.

I've tried different gyms and this feels to me like the best bang for my buck. Since some ratings compare WOW and Planet Fitness, that's what I'll do. WOW is WAY better than Planet Fitness if you actually want to get fit. The machines at Planet Fitness, and the whole place in general, is mostly designed for beginners. It promotes feeling comfortable and happy. WOW focuses on empowerment and self-improvement, and has a higher diversity of machines and weights. It's a judgement free zone and people are approachable.

Gold's Gym and Anytime Fitness are great if you want to spend the extra cash, but I find WOW to be less expensive and less overwhelming.

Finally, and I hope the owners of WOW see this, but Chelsea is a manager there and is super helpful, down to earth, and she really cares about her customers.

The only place truly available 24/7, therefore the gym being closed to holidays or bad weather wont be the excuse.

Wonderful gym with a fantastic staff. They work with you to meet all your needs and are very personable. The gym is clean, with several machines, a top notch women's gym and very good prices for the monthly membership. 12/10!

The women's area is great if you need a little privacy while exercising, there are a variety of classes and they're all fun. The kids babysitting room is amazing, my daughter calls it her baby school and cannot wait to come every morning. Couldn't be happier.

Blast Fitness transferred the membership to WOW after they closed. So far from what I've seen it's a little cleaner. The women's only area needs more equipment. What can I say about some of the staff I have encountered? "YOUR FIRED!" No personality, didn't offer to show me around the gym when I transferred over & when I called the woman on the phone couldn't wait to get me off the phone. If I were the Manager I wouldn't tolerate this.

Big plus it's 24hr gym they got old school plates which I really like they have new and old equipment which I hope it doesn't change.. also they have a hack squat machine that's another plus ... need more racks and maybe a bigger gym besides that it's worth the money one more thing.. they have a clean bathroom

Terrible, place looks clean but watching members not wipe down machines spreading possibly MRSA gross. Some equipment is broken. There are times of the day you can't get on a treadmill. Heard stories people having their cars getting broken into or damaged in the parking lot. Tried to cancel called and was told to send them a certified letter to them only be called and told to send it to someplace else even after speaking to them. Googled it to find that address only to find wow's own instructions a PDF file on how to cancel and it says to send a certified letter to the place you signed up with. Worst gym experience I ever had.

Got to be illegal to allow you to sign up on the spot but put you through holy he'll to opt out.
Do not need these turkeys.
Planet Fitness is light years better.
Update: in response to WOW response. Yes, I filled out a form and called the tel # provided and remained on hold for 20 min. before I hung up. Tried again another day and hung up after another 20 min.
Total scam.

I love that this gym is affordable, has lots of machines, and Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I only drove by the place and it says I was here but I know this place is open late and it's clean the price is good the only alternative gym I see is Planet Fitness
