This Anytime Fitness is closed. It is no longer open for business --all exercise equipment is gone and doors locked!

Very clean, good selection of equipment/machines, open 24/7. I especially like the helix and thigh machine (does it both ways!).

They had all the equipment needed for my lower body workout. Especially like the weight lift section. Method to clean equipment was unique however, environmentally friendly. Site was cleann, except for one piece of equipment out of order. Wish they had a room for classes.

One late Friday I saw a woman with a dog inside the gym. Nothing against animals but I'm allergic and it's not sanitary. Never gonna go back.

Great gym. Staff is very nice and it's fairly affordable with not crazy long contracts. Also it is never crowded, and I barely ever have to wait for anything. Only issue is the machines and equipment are a little outdated, but still fully functional. Overall very satisfied.

Kelly, the gym owner, is very welcoming and thoughtful. The gym was almost never busy when I attended, early morning or late evenings. Nice mixture of equipment and free weights. Clean Gym. Friendly Staff.

I love Anytime Fitness in Clemson. I can go early, late, and even on holidays! It is refreshing to support a business with a local owner! AND, when I have to be at my Greenville office early, my fob works in Greenville too. I find the owner, Kelly to be very responsive and always eager to help me.
My husband and I have tried other gyms, and ALWAYS come back to Kelly. Because when you buy local it quits being the franchise and instead Kelly's gym.
Try it, you will love it too!!!!

Decided to join this gym on a monthly basis. I met with Tim to discuss the terms under which i'd be joining the gym. Tim informed me that a monthly membership would be $99 dollars to join and that would cover my first two months. He also told me that the following months would be $34 dollars a month and that if I wanted to cancel my membership I would just have to pay the $34 dollars for the month in which I was going to quit. I explained to him that I would like a monthly membership and he quickly put papers in front of me to sign, insuring that I was agreeing to everything we had spoken about. I thought everything was great until a month and a half later I get an email after leaving a voicemail with anytime saying i'd wish to cancel my membership. The email told me that I owe $59 for the first two months of which I had not paid for. When I explained to them that I was not aware of why I would owe any money I was spoken to very rudely and told that I had signed the contract and that I would need to pay or risk incurring severe debt through the credit company. I had withdrawn all money from the previous bank account I had signed up with as I have moved across the country and am with another bank. I asked to speak to the person in charge at the establishment, her name is Kelly Cox. I was told that she was on the treadmill and i'd have to wait another half an hour and they would call me back. I agreed and waited, half an hour later she called back and I explained to her the situation and why I felt like I should not have to pay the $59 dollars, she rudely told me that this is what I had signed up for and that if I didn't want to do that then I shouldn't have signed the contract. While I tried to elaborate more on the situation I was cut off and told that she needed to pick up her child from school and she didn't have time to "repeat herself". I was then passed off onto another employee who had not the slightest idea of how to handle the situation. Before I was passed over I told Ms. Cox that I would like to cancel my membership regardless, the response I got was "I don't think you want to do that because you'll owe around $430, another astonishing revelation in this whole situation that I wasn't aware of. Previously I had been told by Tim that if I wanted to cancel then I would just pay an additional $34 and I would be fine. When asked if I could speak to Tim because he would know what I am talking about, I was informed that he no longer worked there. Ms. Cox provided me with the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Not only was there no understanding coming from her side, but I was treated like I was just a tool for Anytime Fitness to collect money from. In order to not incur anymore debt which would harm my credit, I decided to give a new bank account number to settle the $59 dollar debt. I am currently in talks with the Better Business Bureau about resolving this issue. On another note, the shower smells extremely bad once the water starts running, it's unbearable. I hope that Anytime Fitness Clemson hires new staff and learns how to treat customers better that are spending their hard earned dollar to do business with them. I would also advise their staff on how to practice better business ethics. When I verbally agree to conditions with a staff member I expect that to be honored on the paperwork. I would strongly suggest choosing a different gym if you like to be treated well and fairly by staff.
