We also believe that strengthening the body as well as the mind is the key to living a fulfilling limitless life. So we lift. And we don't believe this process should be grueling and painful. I’ve been a member at B3 Strength and Performance for some time now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. I work with Ian for private training, and he’s been fantastic to train with. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to modify workouts based on where I am physically. Whether it’s adjusting for an old injury or tailoring a session to avoid aggravating something new, he knows exactly how to strike the balance between pushing you and protecting you.
What really stands out is how well he collaborates with my physical therapist when needed—something you don’t find everywhere. That level of care has made a big difference in my recovery and overall progress.
The gym itself has a great atmosphere. It’s a welcoming, no-ego environment where everyone—from long-time members to first-timers—feels comfortable. Highly recommend B3 to anyone looking for knowledgeable coaching, smart programming, and a supportive community.

As a mom of 3 who was extremely out of shape and nervous when I entered I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself! As a physical therapist, I highly recommend B3 Strength & Performance. They do great to ensure their clients know the proper technique to execute the lifts. I’m so happy to have found B3 strength. It’s a friendly place with a very knowledgeable staff who work with all ages. As a senior who is 74 with a hip replacement, I chose the option for individual sessions. My amazing trainer , Sean ,understands my limitations so workouts are carefully planned to challenge me.

Locally owned and better class quality than franchise gyms (F45, OTF, etc.)! I moved to Greenville from a big city with lots of boutique gyms and wish I had found B3 Strength sooner. I like that the strength class includes a warmup, community is diverse and welcoming, and morning times work great with my schedule. B3 is like working out with your best friends. The encouragement and motivation from the coaches and the other members is unmatched. I have had a lot of injuries from previous workouts or sports and coach Kim's knowledge of mobility and how to modify workouts to still challenge me and have an equally great workout is so helpful. I don't feel like its just a workout, but learning form, how to breath when lifting and how to pace yourself to finish the workout.

This is one of my favorite gyms I’ve ever become a member of. The trainers are so friendly and knowledgeable, and the other members are super welcoming. I’ve been training with Abbi, and she has been like a coach to me, teaching me how to lift weights with proper technique and form. I never thought I would learn so much in such a little amount of time, and in such a laid-back and fun atmosphere. This is one of the best gyms in the area. I'm not sure I can say anything that hasn't already been said. Ian and Abbi have created something special here with a gym that's focused towards not just improving your athleticism, but community and having fun while working out. I can't say every class is a breeze, but you always walk away feeling good. Kim and Sean are also great and energetic, especially during the morning classes. Check this place out, you won't regret it. Just don't show up late, they get creative when it comes to helping you burn a couple extra calories.

I started Personal Training with Abbi a little over 3 months ago, after being on a workout sabbatical for 3.5 years! I was feeling tired, sluggish, and unhappy with my body. Abbi was very supportive and encouraging from the start. She designed a personalized workout plan for me, taking into account my goals, preferences, and limitations (I had shoulder/neck issues). She worked with me, and my limitations and I can honestly say many of those limitations have disappeared through strength training!
Abbi is not only a great trainer, but also a great motivator. She always pushes me to do my best, but never makes me feel bad if I can’t. She celebrates every achievement with me, no matter how small. She is always positive, cheerful, and fun to be around.
Thanks to Abbi, I have seen amazing results in my fitness and health. I have gained muscle mass, and improved my cardiovascular endurance. I feel more energetic, confident, and happy.

Where do I start? What are your specific goals as far as health and body goes? DOESNT MATTER! B3 and its trainers are well trained and fully equipped to help you reach your goals and surpass them to the moon! I started B3 when I was just a scronny freshman with not a lot of character. I’ve been at this gym for about 3 weeks now, and I’m loving it. All the coaches are respectful and give helpful feedback, especially when it comes to form. I have a bad back and haven’t had any pain when lifting here, despite the fact that it’s always been an issue in the past. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone who’s interested :)

I came to B3 after tearing my ACL. I worked with Peter, Ian, and Kiapo on rehabbing my knee and overall getting stronger. I have been working with Abbi Becker at B3 & Performance for a year now. I am 69 years old and started working with a trainer when I was 35 in CT. I have had many trainers to say the least. Weight training and wellness are very important to me. I had a knee replacement 18 months ago which did not go all that great. When I was introduced to Abbi, she took the time to understand what my challenges were and then designed a program that would give me the best chance of improving my range of motion, allieving my pain, and helping me begin a weight training program that had been put on hold for a very long time. Abbi is knowledgeable, professional, patient, and at the same time pushes me to be the best I can! Abbi has given me my life back and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for bringing her into my life!!!

Where do I start? Every aspect of this gym is enjoyable even down to the waiver in the beginning. The trainers and on-site PTs are so passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and with their primary focus being on safety, you'll learn how to progress safely no matter what your fitness journey may be. I definitely recommend dropping in for some group classes and taking their free first Saturday class so that you can see what you've been missing out on on!

I just started at B3 and really enjoy it! The workouts are challenging but not to where you feel so sore and miserable for days afterwards. The workouts are also programmed in a way where you can increase your strength overtime versus being random / sporadic. The members are very friendly — very easy to fit right in! The training is great — they trainers are very involved in correcting form and teaching various ways/different cues to help people.

I had wanted to start weight training but didn’t want the extreme workout that Cross Fit seemed to offer. I hadn’t worked out in a gym in years and wasn’t sure where to start. A friend of mine recommended her gym, B3 Strength and Performance so I tried it.
B3 workouts offer comprehensive strength training and fitness. Ian, Abbi and Peter focus on teaching proper form, teaching what each exercise is meant to do, safeguarding you from injury while pushing you to your limits. Each workout is well designed and done in 50 minutes. Classes are limited to 10, allowing for camaraderie without battling for equipment, space, or support of you need it.
Within a few weeks I saw improvement in how my clothes fit, my posture, and my overall strength. I feel much healthier and will only get stronger. My experience has been so positive and motivating. I highly recommend B3!

I was looking for community and a place where I could workout and stay healthy while balancing work and grad school. I found all of those things and more at B3! The staff at B3 takes time to meet you where you are on your fitness journey. They come alongside you during workouts and help train/correct form to ensure that you are strengthening your body safely and efficiently. And from the very beginning, the staff and fellow gym members have made me feel welcome and confident in myself and my ability. Before joining B3, I participated in some weight training as a collegiate athlete, but after I graduated I became unmotivated and inconsistent. I joined B3 about a month ago. The focus is obviously on health and self-improvement, but the family atmosphere created by Ian, Abby and their team has been the biggest magnet for me. They know everyone’s name and always greet each member personally and positively. Their knowledge in stretching, lifting and conditioning creates a safe environment while continually pushing you to be better than the previous day. They also organize events off campus to hang out with other members in a social environment all while getting some exercise too. I just wanna say hands down to the best gym in town. The trainers are there for your every need. If you have any pain/soreness or aren’t “mobile” enough to do a certain exercise, don’t worry, they definitely have you covered. Ian and Abbi are try professionals. They have made me feel welcome and included. The comraderie with the other members is a lot of fun and it really helps me push myself to be the best I can be. B3 is a great gym for people of all ages and abilities. Ian and
Abbi challenge in me while at the same time recognizing that everyone has varying abilities.
B3 has helped me gain strength , endurance and balance. I feel stronger and in better shape than ever before. I cannot recommend B3 enough.

This gym is awesome! Since going almost a month ago I have learned so much. I started out with some neck issues that seem to flare up when stressed and since being at B3 and focusing on what Ian and Abby have been teaching with our workouts and stretching I have not had one flare up again. Excellent gym. Ian stresses form and safety while also pushing his members to maximize results. The classes he offers are a nice blend of cardio and strength training and I am happy with what they have done for me. The equipment is also new and nice and the facility is well-maintained. The gym is also conveniently located near Woodruff Rd and 1-385.
