Barre3 is an efficient and effective workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness, designed to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. When you work out with us, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work. Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.

I cannot recommend Barre3 enough. Their 'signature' classes offer a combination of stretching/flexibility, balance, strength training, low-impact cardio and breathwork, while their 'strength' classes focus more on weight training. There are multiple membership and class package options, and classes range from 45 min. to 1 hr., offered morning, noon and evening most days of the week. A supervised play lounge for kids is also available during various classes. The studio is clean and the atmosphere is inviting. The front desk staff welcomes you as soon as you walk in and the trained instructors are absolutely wonderful. They are fun, energetic (as the music always is, too!), positive and knowledgeable. They demonstrate many modifications during classes to accommodate different client needs such as using lower to no weights or bands, postures that aren't as strenuous, etc., but they also encourage you to push yourself if you're up for a challenge and increase your weights or try multi-part, more complex postures. No matter where you're at in your fitness journey, though, there is something for everyone. The other clients I've met have been welcoming, too. There are bodies of every shape and size and there is no pressure. It's a place where you're always encouraged to take the time to focus on your physical and mental well-being and leave the rest at the door, even if it's just for a little while!

Eight years ago I signed up for a membership at Barre3 Five Forks and it was the best decision EVER! The instructors and staff are wonderful and encouraging. It’s a welcoming environment for everyone. I have joint issues that make some workouts difficult but Barre3 provides different modifications and I’m still able to get an intense workout without putting stress on my body. Barre3 is my happy place.

Before starting my first class I probably talked myself out of going numerous times with multiple excuses as to why I should wait. Once I took the initiative to enter the first class with my work clothes in to (5:45am) I haven’t regretted the decision since. These ladies have really reiterated how important it is to appreciate and take care of our bodies whether it’s through breathing,stretching or finding other avenue that serve you.

I've taken the Sunday class with Jane and have loved my experience. Jane has so much energy and does a great job of pushing you until your muscles are shaking. The class is an excellent combination of strength and cardio so you leave feeling like you had a full body workout. Jane also does a great job of coming around and checking that you're in the correct position so that no one ends up injured, which I really appreciate. The studio is exceptionally clean and everyone is very friendly.

I visit barre 3 every time I come to town. I love the music, the fact that the class has cardio elements and the strengthening without being impactful. The instructors always make sure that there are options for many of the moves so you can challenge yourself or modify where you need.

I think Barre3 is great so far. After my class yesterday I am definitely feeling sore. This hasn't happened after any group class I've taken before so I know I was working hard. What surprised me the most was how I worked up a sweat in the warmup. I have never sweat while working out (except in spin class). I felt so welcomed by the staff and even another member, Kristen. Everything was so clean. I was a little apprehensive about being barefoot or using a communal mat. I did not feel a single grain of dirt under my feet and didn't see a single piece of hair anywhere which is important to me. I could focus on the workout. I loved how Kyla took periodic breaks to show us better positions and to check on everyone. It was exactly the little extra attention I needed as a newbie. She did great to explain what was coming next and where we should feel the exercise. I really admire her dedication to staying fit while balancing being a mother of 3. It definitely made me realize that I have no excuses not to take care of myself. Can't wait to go back!
