I was looking for someone who knew what they were doing, was great with kids, but firm so as they would be taught respect, discipline, karate and have a great time learning. I didn’t want to have to make him go to class I wanted him to look forward to going to class. That is what I finally found when I accidentally found this Karate School. I had gone to and checked on a lot of schools and classes before finding this one. But with all the other classes we tried he didn’t enjoy going.There was 2 he said he liked the kids because he had some time to meet some kids. Most class want much more money then this one and most classes only last for 15 minutes, which I felt that they didn’t even have enough time to learn anything. I felt like I was really paying for nothing because he hadn’t learned anything. Honestly I had started looking into music lessons because he was not enjoying the classes and was losing interest in karate because of it. I felt like most of the classes out there was more about the money then the kids and teaching. After I found Black Belt 4 life he is now so excited about learning karate again. So much so he can not wait to go to class. He even gets so upset if we are even a minute late much less miss a class. My son in law is sick and can’t attend the classes to watch his son in class,but he has never missed a class because he live streams every class so that everyone can watch. So his dad can watch him in class if he is at home,work or in his he hospital.The classes are longer then 95% of all the other karate schools and cost wise a much bette deal. He is so great with the kids. My grandson loves going to class now and is so excited about learning karate again and to show us what he has learned that day as soon as he gets home. I have never posted anything on line before and there are very few things I have ever recommended before in my life. But if you are looking to put your child or yourself in to marshal arts classes this one is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed with Black Belt 4 Life. We are so thankful we found his school.

If your child is just looking for fun this is the place for you. If you are looking for your child to learn skills and discipline while having fun I would suggest you stay away. My son attended here for a little over three years. We stayed this long because after shopping around we found out he wouldn’t be able to keep his rank if we went else where. This place is very unprofessional. As long as the child shows up he or she is promoted to the next rank. Standards are very low. My son earned his black belt in June and it is now October and he is still waiting to receive it. I have heard stories of kids waiting a year to receive theirs. Every time we contact them to try to get it we are given false dates. We have given up and decided to count it as a lost and move on.

We tried another dojo before BB4L but Sensei Mac, by far, has the best program. His dedication to instilling the necessary life skills to the children is second to none. I have watched my three boys grow in their confidence, respect, and discipline. If you want the best for your kids, you want Black Belt 4 Life.

For anyone who happens to see this if looking for a martial arts program for you child, BB4L is an excellent option. I do not have child in the program. We did a trial class and unfortunately our location does not work out for the times the classes are offered due to traffic. But my kid asked to go back, I'm convinced he would do well in this program. Sensei Mac said he communicated well with kids and he proved that true. Since we couldn't participate I thought it was worth recommending. Hope its helpful.

Mr Mac is very good with children. He's patient, but firm and the kids really respect him. He teaches adults, as well, and makes learning easy and most of all FUN!
