British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Very inviting and warm environment. The staff are super nice and fun to talk with. James helped me with every question that I had regarding my son and eventually, my swimming journey. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a family filled swimming environment!!!! Look no further, this is the best place for swimming lessons 🥰

All of the instructors are super friendly and totally non judgmental of whatever skill level you’re coming in at. I’m an adult who never learned how to swim as a child and now, I am super grateful that I finally started the lessons and have checked something off of my bucket list!

We love British swimming school. My son is 4 years old and in less than one year he has learned a lot. The only "complaint" is that I wish for more consistency with teachers, cause they rotate a little. My son usually does better when he has the same teacher for a while, but I understand about staff availability and it is more about my son's personality. I would recommend this place!!
Edited: Side note: the staff is awesome and the owner is great at communicating with us.

I’m 53 yrs. Old and decide to learn how to swim, so glad I found British Swim School!
can’t believe I miss all this time in the water, specially when we go out on vacation and miss swimming in the beautiful beaches, cenotes and thermal waters, even snorkeling!
This school give me hope!
I learned how to float, hard deal when it comes for first time but my instructor is very efficient and helpful!
Still in the process to learn how to kick legs in the water, hope to make more improvements with my enthusiastic instructors in a couple of weeks!
Very happy I found British swim lessons for this challenge!

My experience with British Swimming lessons has been a great experience. The young ladies that I work with are very helpful and I have a great time working with them. I'm 63 years old and I've always wanted to learn to swim. They make it fun and a learning environment. So if you want to get Swimming lessons this is the place.

British Swim School has been a wonderful experience for us! We have a 6 year old who started out in the most basic class in August but has moved up twice since that time. We also just started our 2 year old in the class with a parent. My 6 year old had a bad experience with other swim lessons and was terrified of even getting in the water. British Swim School instructors worked with him and helped him gain the confidence to swim pretty well independently already and I will be forever grateful for the patience and love that he has been shown. Those instructors are so great with the kids and respond quickly if I ever reach out with an issue. They have worked with my schedule, as well, to make having time with two children in two different classes absolutely stress free. I cannot say enough about this amazing group of people! Thank you so much!

My son is deaf. All of the girls at the Rock Hill location are so sweet. They are doing there best learning signs( he speaks ASL) and the best ways to communicate with him! With just that alone. I would 100% recommend British Swim School!

Signing up for swim lessons with British Swim School has been an excellent investment. I have been trying to learn to swim for years and I finally found people that know how to teach me. I have not had many lessons yet but the few I have had, have enabled me to actually swim! The classes are small and very individualized- no competition for the instructors attention. The staff is engaging and very pleasant. If you really want to learn to swim these are the folk to trust.

Best swimming school for any level right from beginners . This school is awesome! The instructors are so great and professional especially ‘Kayla’.She can handle any kid and her friendly nature is motivational factor for each and every kid. My sons confidence in the water has gone up and we love seeing his progress every class.
