This is by far the least stressful swim program we’ve ever tried, which is why we have been members for as many months as we have. Every instructor has been patient and kind while helping my little people learn to swim. My kids look forward to their weekly lessons & as a parent I have loved seeing the progress every week. I am very thankful Columbia now has this service!

British Swim School has been fantastic for our 2 1/2 year old! He was very wary around water last summer so we enrolled him this spring in hopes of building his confidence and fostering safety skills. We have been able to do just that with the British Swim School. Everything has been wonderful, from the sign up process to our weekly interactions with the instructors, my husband and I have been so pleased. I think having repeated exposure to the pool in a routine format has been key for building his confidence. He knows what to expect and looks forward to his pool time each week. He sings the songs and practices skills in the bathtub between lessons. John and Jean have created a wonderful environment that I thoroughly recommend!

My baby goes to swimming class with them since he was 6 months and he loves it so much.
The coaches are very friendly. They really take good care of the kids. They are superb 101%. Highly recommended if you are looking for a swimming class for your kids.

We really love British Swim School. Extremely organized, great instructors, easy to use app. Last time, I confused our class time and arrived 30 minutes late. They squeezed my 3 kids in with another instructor last minute. Completely my fault but they were so flexible and accommodating. My kids LOVE going to swim lessons each week. They've had a few different instructors and each one has been amazing!! They are so kind and patient with my children. I trust them 100% to care for my kids. My kids actually prefer british swim school to gymnastics, dance, and martial arts! Oh and they also have little changing tents so you can get your kids dressed after class. Very convenient set up. The different skill level classes are so cute and its good to see a structured and organized progression forward.

We've had a fantastic experience with British Swim School Columbia! The owners, John and Jean, are wonderful and truly care about creating a positive environment for kids. They went out of their way to make my son feel comfortable in the water, which made a big difference for us.

One class, my 1.5-year-old was having a tough day and refused to participate, and they generously credited us with a make-up class. That kind of flexibility and understanding is so appreciated. The instructors are professional, patient, and skilled, and their teaching methods have helped my son feel confident in the water rather than afraid of it.

I also love that lessons are in an indoor pool, so we were able to take lessons in the winter and get ready for summer. It's a well-run program, and I’d definitely recommend it to other parents looking for quality swim lessons!

We love British swim school! Our 4 year old has tried so many other swim lessons in Columbia for the last 3 years and nothing has worked until BSS. The instructors are so engaged - today we had coach Brooke and coach Marcus and they were both so helpful and worked really well with our son.
I highly recommend. It is also much better priced than alternatives. Lastly, the owners John and Jean are beyond sweet and make everyone feel so comfortable!
