I’ve been going to this gym for about 2 years and I love it. The staff is always friendly, the layout was thought out, and the locker rooms/bathrooms are always clean. The cross fit room with the squat racks and sled is greatly appreciated.

Making cancellation of membership a nightmare. "read the contract is BS."

Appreciate the reply, maybe instead of “you signed the contract.” Help the average person out to not have to spend and extra $40 when they no longer live there. Life’s hard enough without having to send a piece of certified mail proving I moved….. I was hung up 3x while trying to get this handled. Reviews are a way for people to comment on their experience and you don’t want to help resolve that.

I only commented on your contract cancellation. But now I’ll just just leave the comment cause your customer service skills lack too.

If you are looking for a personal trainer contact Kurt Petty…. I have been in Myrtle beach for a couple of weeks, wanted to keep my exercise routines going, and reached out to Kurt….has been a great experience - he runs a solid training program, is flexible on schedule, and does a variety of exercises. Was not sure what to expect but Kurt has been great to work with - will reach out again when I am in Myrtle beach for extended stay.

-the hours of operation suck
-1/2 the ceiling fans are never turned on, so when we start working out it's really stuffy
-some of the songs y'all play (dirty talk about women) can make it uncomfortable for us ESPECIALLY when we r the only female n the room.
+ its NEVER super busy/noisy like planet fitness almost is.

Do not trust them with your card information they have charged me for a year past my contract date although I’ve put in constant calls and emails for them to cease charging me I have not even lived within Myrtle Beach for the past year and they continue to hit my card

5/5 gym experience, by far one of the best gyms I’ve been in, for the size of the place it’s amazing how there are so many things to do, employees are very nice and respectful, it was very easy to sign up, a beautiful woman by the name of Gin helped me and my friend get signed up and it toke less than 5 minutes, 10 out of 10 would recommend

Started off with them charging me $25 for the free 1 week trial they have posted on the billboard outside, not really a big deal because I was looking to get a second membership somewhere closer to where I live but the gym itself is atrocious. They take a picture from the top corner of the gym to make it look bigger than it is, gym equipment was meh, priced higher than an Anytime Fitness with less equipment and no reciprocity. It seems like it might be good for older gents and women who don’t want to be talked to at the gym that’s the only reason why I gave them two stars.

Love this place. When I moved here 7 months ago I was overweight and depressed about it. I joined Carolina Fitness and just started going 3 to 4 times a week. The equipment is top notch, the staff is very friendly and helpful.. And 6 months into my fitness journey, I've lost 40lbs!!

Just joined this week... so far... so good.... could use more tanning beds... first time i tried it ....it didn’t work but no biggie....i’m a morning person and it’s not overly crowded early so i am happy about that and the men’s locker and bathroom are very clean.... A peer of mine begged me to join PLANET FITNESS with him... said carolina fitness staff was “snooty” was i think the words he used but everyone has been very polite and friendly to me .....so ???????

The customer service from the owner of this gym is absolutely reprehensible. I have recently suffered an Injury and due to that injury my DR has stated that I’m unable to use my gym membership until my rehabilitation is completed. My Dr wrote an email to the owner of the gym explaining to him that I am unable to work out due to my injury and that my membership should be canceled since I can’t use it.. The owner lacking empathy and or compassion for what I’m going through is still trying to force me to buy out my contract and is refusing to release me of the membership. The discriminatory behavior that the owner has and is presently showing towards me, clearly negates his gyms culture of “looking after my well being.” If you’re looking for a gym that actually cares for your well being and treats you with respect, I highly recommend you find another gym. This gym is NOT for you.

My dad and I got the weekly membership while on vacation this week and have made good use of the gym each morning. I absolutely LOVE this gym!! I've been a member here since day 1 of Carolina Fitness and have never enjoyed working out and going to the gym as much as I do since starting. Everyone at Carolina Fitness encourages one another and pushes one another to be the best they can absolutely be. The equipment is amazing and a lot of it is new. There's a separate cardio theatre room, separate spin class room, leg room and even a separate room for doing your own thing with tires, boxing bag, etc. Everything is super clean and always taken care of each day. The staff not only is friendly but they actually invest in your life and your fitness and care about seeing you meet your goals.
