Carolina stars has been a great place for my 2 youngest children to safely learn and practice gymnastics. We have been going for a couple years now and carolina stars feels like home. Very personal, friendly and energetic owners and staff. GO STARS!!

I joined teams and I hate it my coach yells at me when I can’t do something she just says yes you can and leaves me to try by myself including things that it was my first time doing I’ve hurt my self many times I’ve hit my head tons of time because she said yes you can and made me do it like back walkovers I hit my head so many times and she didn’t care

Our daughter decided that she no longer wanted to attend the classes, so we asked them to cancel the payment for February. We understand that their cancelation policy is on the 15th of the month, we asked if they could make an exception to cancel it on the 17th, just because we were 3 days late to inform them about cancelation they went ahead and charged us anyway today for February a week after our request. What a terrible business, they made it sound like its impossible to cancel it even though we requested it a week ahead of time before the due date payment, bunch of thieves.

My daughter did gymnastics here with the three year old class and we loved it at first. After a few months they added a teacher to the class and double the class size. It was just chaos and they did nothing to fix it. I took my other child here for the toddler time before the summer and we came back in the fall and they doubled their price. They refused to honor the punch card I already had and said each time would be two punches until gone. It is clear they are only worried about money, not the growth and skill of the children.

I tried the Monday play group for my 20 month old today and was highly impressed! This was a great way to see if gymnastics would be something my daughter would enjoy doing. The coach supervising the group was great! Normally my daughter is really shy but my daughter immediately warmed up with her and kept running up to her wanting her wanting her to continue helping her! Another thing that impressed me were how nicely all of the kids played despite there being 1 year olds all the way to around 7 year olds. There were two parts- one for younger kids and one for older/advanced kids, but both were open to any age group. The kids weren't rough and took turns, also using patience for the little ones. Both gyms had a pleasant smell and were clean (didn't smell like sweaty feet or musty like most gyms). The front desk people were sweet and informative when I called as well as when I came, explaining everything and showing me where things were at. I can't wait to sign my daughter up for a class and will definitely recommend this place over any of the other places closer to me to my friends!

The boys team is the BEST! My son has been a member for 4 years and the experience has been suburb! The coaching staff is knowledgeable, encouraging and dedicated to the development of each athlete. His teammates couldn't be more supportive and he has made some great friendships. We love our gymnastics family!

We had my daughters 5th birthday party here. The staff were late and refused to let us in at 2:10 to bring the cake, balloons, gift bags, and juice boxes in. One staff member was on time, but did not have a key. The other showed up at 2:10 and told me they had to setup so she couldn't let me bring the party goods inside. All in all we had 10min to throw everything together and fix things they had left out. I had to ask for simple things like turning music on, forks for the cake, etc. worse than that the owner showed very little remorse for the experience we had at her facility and did not call me back until July 7th. Party was on June 25th. We will not be doing business with them going forward. One positive was the kids did have a good time. Only one staff member participated in the party and she was overworked, overwhelmed, and couldn't pay the attention to all of the kids. One staff members brought her own kid and watched him instead of helping with the party. I paid over $200 to have a party at this facility. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone going forward. Very sad and disappointing.

This place is a joke. My daughter went to summer camp at Carolina Stars Gymnastics this week. At the start, she was very excited to learn some gymnastics, but each day she came back with stories that were concerning -- so concerning that I had to stick around today, her last day of camp, to see for myself. It was awful. To start the day, 10 distracted teenagers danced around for a bit, then just chatted amongst themselves eating donuts -- this was the staff. After dancing (something few of the kids even participated in), one of the teens told the 40 or so kids to stretch out. She'd shout something, then turn back to her donut-eating friends. This went on for 30 minutes. Very few of the kids paid any attention. Like my daughter, they were just thoroughly bored -- but none of the staff seemed to notice. At 9:45, the stretching disbanded and the kids were free to roam around the gym, playing in groups around the equipment. There was zero supervision. Many of the staff were just sitting around. The rest were socializing amongst themselves while kids played on the equipment, some doing very dangerous, and totally unsupervised play. My daughter waved to me and shrugged her shoulders. At 10:15, I finally left. We will never go to this camp again and would advise others to stay away. This is just baby-sitting with music.

Took my daughter to open play and my daughter was not interested to even get out of my arms. We stayed for 5-10 minutes and told staff she wasn’t interested. They offered no refund or anything and knew we did nothing. Also, it didn’t look fun and equipment looked worn.

This gym is separated which is really nice. A small section that my 2 and 4 yr old really enjoyed. The room is surrounded by windows so any parents that does not want to be inside can sit and watch from outside the room. Then the big area was huge with so much to do. I really liked they follow Covid protocol too which made me feel really comfortable. The employees were so nice and the cost for preschool on Mondays was cheap! I'm mad I spent $25 more several days prior at a trampoline park.

We are new to the gym and so far I have no problems with the teenagers teachers or facility.
My daughter is enjoying and having fun.Thats what matter for us and we have no desires for her to be a professional gymnast.
My only problem is : How can a sport facility that promotes gymnastics , exercise and health body can offer that kind of snacks for the kids?? That for me is absurd!!!
I can only imagine is to make money but for me makes no sense at all. I see many kids eating MM’’s, Pringle’s, blue sugary beverage , coke and candy before and after school.
I think even as an exemple and influence to the kids this shouldn’t be allowed in a place like this.
And how about instead lollipop before any holiday give something non sugary or junk food
Related!? Perhaps is just my opinion but it’s ridiculous to me.

*I can’t add a photo of the junk food here on google but I added on Yelp!*
