Be aware that signing this contract locks you into three months of payments with no early exit option, even if the service is inadequate. There are fees for every cancellation and the mandatory Level 1 booking times are extremely limited and unfriendly to busy schedules. Customer service is reportedly unhelpful with these issues.

I recommend this loc especially classes with Maife she's amazing. She makes sure you're in correct form when doing the exercise. She's attentive to those with injuries and makes sure to give you alternative positions to prevent further injury. She's very knowledge in her field very approachable

Pilates is the best fitness/exercise I have ever done! I have had both hips replaced and some other physical limitations but they do not hinder me from doing Pilates. I am nearing 250 completed classes and I am getting stronger, toned, and more flexible with each class.
The results I have had are unbelievable.
This is the best thing I have ever done for my physical and mental health.

Jess, Christine, and Aliana are all great instructors - I have never had a “bad” class with any of the instructors at the Ft Mill studio. Each instructor teaches a little differently so different muscles are always getting worked.

Rarely leave negative reviews, but I genuinely think people need to know of what to expect when signing up here.

The intro class with Ainura was great and I was immediately intrigued and wanted to return (her and Mia are the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review). The girl at the front desk walks you through how to sign up at the end and mentions that you are required to sign up for 3 months up front. I thought that was a little weird, but went for it anyways. I decided to do 8 classes per month and was super excited to get started!

She tells me to go on the app to register for classes, so I get in my car, eager to return, and the classes are completely booked out for WEEKS. So here I am, just paid upfront, and I can’t get a secure spot to a class for another 3 weeks.

I called and asked what happens if I don’t get my 8 spots secured and she told me I can “come to any class 5 minutes before and if there’s an open spot (no show), then the spot is mine.”

So essentially, I’d have to plan my day around a spot that isn’t guaranteed to me while driving 20 minutes to the studio to MAYBE get a spot…

I told her that I was a bit let down because the lack of availability wasn’t at all communicated before signing up, but she didn’t seem to care.

Their waitlist system is okay, but it’s extremely inconvenient for any working individual out there. You usually don’t know whether or not you’ll get into a class until the day before. Planning your day while being a member at this studio seems nearly impossible.

Fast forward to one of the classes with Christine and I literally left in tears. I’ve never felt so singled out in my life. The entire class, she said my name and ONLY my name multiple times, correcting me every few minutes— Nobody else’s.

And before a staff member responds and says it was to help me, I’m a very active and in-shape person. I am trying to regain my strength after having a traumatic c-section a few months ago. Although I am new to Pilates and learning, I also know there is no way I was the ONLY person in that room who wasn’t doing every move perfectly. Singling out one person for an hour isn’t okay. It’s embarrassing, and no one should be made to feel like that ESPECIALLY in a health & wellness environment.

I emailed to speak to a manger or owner about the situation and was basically told no.

Genuinely, I rarely have negative experiences at places, but was extremely let down by Club Pilates FM. I will not be returning now that my 3 months is up and will be finding another studio with a better and more fair system— Or at least one that better communicates its processes upfront.

I’ve been going to Ainura’s classes for ~ 4 months. I was sedentary when I started.

With each class, I developed strength and confidence in my abilities. Thanks to her lessons, and those from other amazing instructors at CP Fort Mill, I was able to recently complete some challenging “bucket list” hikes while visiting Sedona, including Devil’s Bridge and Cathedral Rock!

Pilates is a fun and effective way to build functional strength, improve balance, and be mindful in your activities, all of which are important to maintaining overall health. Best of all, it’s accessible to all abilities!

I have worked out with a number of the coaches and it has been amazing. I started August of last year and they have helped me improve my physical health. This is a great way to build muscle, core strength as well as increase mobility. 100% recommend.

I will say it makes sense to sign up for the unlimited so that you can book out further and have a somewhat consistent schedule.

I called and left a voicemail and also ended my membership on the club Pilates app in January 2025. The app accepted my resignation of their membership and no further instructions were provided that further action was needed on my part to officially confirm my membership was rescinded. So, of course 2 months later I am still being charged their monthly membership fee of 99$. I have called and left voicemails asking this to be corrected and reimbursement occur. I have received no reimbursement, only voicemails to call them. I have cancelled my membership and called the facility and entered information on their app that accepted my cancellation in January! When subscribing to their gym they only stated verbal confirmation was required to cancel membership. I have been charged every month since I cancelled my membership in January. I have not been reimbursed and keep getting charged. Since they are taking no action, I now have to call BBB and file formal complaint which I am currently completing. Unfortunately, another company that once they have your credit card information to auto debit it is impossible to stop payment. DO NOT allow club Pilates to auto debit your account. Pay monthly and please learn from my mistake. Hopefully I will get refunded for the $400 that was taken from my account without permission.

I’ve been a member on and off at Club Pilates Fort Mill for the last few years and absolutely love it. Great mix of instructor styles and class types, so you really can play around and find the right fit. LOVE that Pilates is for everyone…. so many body types, ages and abilities in every single class. My fav instructors are Jess, Niki, Maife, Dani, Hayley, Christine and Andrea! Their classes are challenging and creative — and taught completely differently depending on the day and the instructor. I’ve been taking 3-5 classes/week consistently since November and cannot believe how much stronger I’ve gotten and how much my body has changed. Hooked on Pilates for life.

I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist, Aliana, today. I approached the desk with a question regarding canceling my membership. I stood there for a few minutes while she was busy typing and, despite waiting patiently, she did not acknowledge my presence. When I politely asked if she had time for a question and began explaining my concern, she was visibly impatient and interrupted me without allowing me to finish.

To make matters worse, she wrongly accused me of using free classes without checking my payment history—despite the fact that I have been paying $250 for an unlimited membership. Her attitude was unwelcoming from the start, and I left feeling disrespected and frustrated.

This is not the level of professionalism or courtesy I expect, especially given the commitment I have made to this membership.

Update:
I want to be clear—my issue was not confusion about your freeze or cancellation policy. It was about how I was spoken to, accused, and treated during the interaction.

Aliana was rude, impatient, and made a false accusation, cutting me off mid-sentence and speaking to me as if I was trying to exploit your system—when I had in fact paid for my classes.
To make matters worse, she then gave me the wrong email address for the manager—intentionally—which raises serious questions about professionalism and transparency at your front desk.

This isn’t just about a one-off bad moment. It’s a pattern I’ve now seen reflected in your responses to other low-star reviews: a refusal to take responsibility, and an immediate attempt to reframe the issue as the customer’s misunderstanding. That’s exactly what’s happening here again.

This was not a policy issue. It was a respect issue. And vague apologies without specific accountability don’t repair the damage.

How do you plan to respond to the fact that I was:
1. Disrespected
2. Wrongly accused
3. Given false information deliberately
4. And now being brushed off as though I misunderstood something?

All instructors are amazing! Hate the that there is a waitlist for the classes i can take, but that shows you how great their classes are, everyone want in! My schedule only allows me to take a class a week which is typically on Sunday, Christine teaches them and she is incredible. Expand the location to add more reformers (next door is ‘for lease’ 😉) because being in the waitlist is stressful. I have also taken classes with Jess during the week (when I can’t get in on a Sunday) and I absolutely love her.

Having recently recooperated from spinal surgery, I was very nervous about starting up my Pilates routine and doing any movement which would cause pain or injury. Jess gently guided me through and constantly checked on any pain or discomfort. I didn’t have any which gave me confidence in returning to classes. Her knowledge, kind words of encouragement made me confident that she will always be alert to any bad form that might cause injury.

Club Pilates is the only workout I’ve stuck with— coming up on 300 classes!! Jess & Ainura are amazing! Totally different teaching styles and no two classes are the same, which I love. They will kick your butt but keep you laughing through it. Nothing beats that next day “good sore” after a great workout.
