This studio continued to charge me for MONTHS after cancelling my membership in July and I have the receipts to prove it. The classes were good, but they’re always filled making it impossible to use my credits.

My name is Georgette Danci and I am posting this under my husband's profile but I have to say I have found my happy place in Mount Pleasant! I tried other studios and I love it here. The instructors are patient and informative. I have learned so much and I have over 100 classes under my belt! There is always a welcoming smile for me when I enter the studio. It is very clean and well equipped! I also love it because I am continually challenging myself! Thanks Diane!!

My most favorite place! I have been coming here for almost 2 years and it is the first exercise program I have ever been consistent with. I actually look forward to every single class. I absolutely love the manager, Diane! She is mature and very professional. I enjoy her smiling face every time I walk in the door!! All of the instructors are amazing. They all have their strengths that every class you take you get a different work out. I cannot say enough about this studio!

I have been going to the Mount Pleasant location for over 2 years, and have to say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. These women are like a family to me. My body has never looked or felt better. The instructors are top notch and Diane at the desk is always so helpful. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. Thank you CP!! ♥️♥️♥️

I took my first class today at this location, and am uncertain if I will be back after how the instructor treated me. I walked up to her to introduce myself, and to let her know this was my third pilates class. She was very cold and unwelcoming. She quickly explained how I needed to grab some certain equipment and set it up. I told her I was confused how to and she walked past me and ignored me two times. It was very off putting. I asked her again to help me and she just stood there and watched me struggle. I finally figured it out myself. I was hoping for a relaxing workout after a long day of work, but the way she treated me at the beginning bothered me my entire workout. On the contrary, I did feel challenged during the workout and enjoyed the physical part of it. I am still dismay about how she treated me though. It was a complete 180 from the experience I had at solidcore in Pittsburgh. At solidcore, when I told them it was my first class, the instructor helped me and was cheering me on the entire time. She created such a fun and positive experience. I was hoping to have that same level of welcomeness at Club Pilates in Mount Pleasant. Overall, it was a very unwelcoming environment but decent workout. I am going to try other Pilate studios around Charleston before I go back to this one.

They are not well communicating. They blame a lot of their issues on their application and internet not working, and continue to charge you even though you don't have any bookings available. I have also tried to call multiple times to see if I could get my membership canceled, however they do not answer the phone. Make sure to read the contract before deciding to sign up there are a lot of things they don't mention on there. I signed up for the unlimited bundle, could not get to book any classes and all they said was "our app has been having problems" and would not refund me for the "No-Shows" even though I never signed up for the class. So just watch out, these people are not the best to deal with.

I appreciate i picked a flow class and the front desk lady is so kind; however, the instructor never acknowledged me and my friend or that it was our first class. The workout was not challenging at all and she decreased my levels after me saying not to during it. Not very impressed and very expensive.

Honestly this was terrible. I have taken other pilates classes, and I workout 5 times a week and it felt like an expensive stretch. I know that there are different levels of classes, but it felt like this class could’ve been the into class. The instructor was not very friendly and felt uninterested.

Pilates here has completely healed my nerve pain from a spinal surgery I had in 8th grade! I’ve gone to 37 classes so far with a variety of different instructors and always enjoy my time at the studio. In my experience, all of the instructors cater to their specialties (this can be from more of a physical therapy approach to a general well-being and flexibility approach). The variety of teaching styles is really great if you are looking to resolve a certain issue, like me! You just have to try out different classes and instructors to find who suits your needs best. Eyren specifically has been really great at coaching me the past two summers and I am so thankful for her!
Booking is super easy - if classes fill up early you can go on the waitlist (which has always gotten me into a class).
It can be intimidating to begin Pilates, even as a 22 year old, but I am grateful I stuck with it and grateful for the patience of all the staff at this location. :)

Very poorly managed and greedy franchise owner. This company has gotten free money for over 6 months, unable to attend classes caring for elderly parent, forget to cancel membership and have gotten 6 months of fees and they won’t budge on 30 day notice. How gross, and no compassion, no way to cancel or change memberships online , very poorly run business.

Nice studio, and the teachers are nice. There are a lot of classes, not always consistent, and many different teachers. You have to sign up with packages. It is difficult to book classes, they can all be booked a week in advance, leaving you with little to no options when you already paid in advance. There are fees for missing a class even though you pay in advance for packages. Retail items are expensive. There aren’t many advanced classes. You can certainly do things incorrectly because teachers can’t watch everyone, but they make effort. I know a few people who were injured in the cardio sculpt class. People really enjoy the TRX classes. A good way to get introduced to pilates.

This place is the best workout experience I’ve had in Charleston. I never write reviews but had to share how great this place is. The facility is clean, all equipment, mats, and purified water is there for you (big improvement from most gyms charging fees for that these days), and the classes are small and incredibly personalized. It feels like a personal trainer experience, and I leave each class feeling like my entire body has been toned and stretched, (for me it’s been waaaay more effective than my previous yoga routine)! It’s even helped totally relieve back pain that I had for over a month. Try the intro, you won’t regret it!

Sad to see such a great business opportunity be so poorly owned. Because the owners cannot keep any managers on staff for very long ( approx 1-2 months from what I’ve seen with one exception), the owners take over much of the schedule and happenings in the studio. The owners treat employees as slaves and don’t know anything about the business they’ve bought. Having never taught before or been involved in a gym setting, they force unsustainable and unreasonable expectations on staff until they just get fed up and leave.Owners don’t listen to either teachers or managements needs and only care about quantity and new members. Owners will also interrupt classes and instruct the instructor on how to teach, something they know nothing about. They would rather have 20 new members rather than 10 members that will be dedicated for years. They only look at quantity and not quality. Owners make it very awkward and uncomfortable for anyone with a fitness teaching background to take classes there as they beg and hound them to teach at the studio since they cannot keep staff onboard. I’ve been embarrassed as an employee numerous times with the way the owners beg for new teachers from members and people taking intro classes. I would’ve gladly been involved with the studio for years to come but with such poor ownership, it was an unbearable business to remain in.

I’ve only done an intro class, but I’ll be back. The equipment is high quality and it’s a welcoming environment.
