I love my Club Pilates North Myrtle Beach family! I have been a member since day one and have enjoyed every second of it! From Stefani (Owner), the instructors, to the members I’ve become friends with over the years, I have always felt like part of the family from the second I joined. You could not find a place where they care about you, your health, and your wellness journey as much as they do here!

I worked as an Assistant General Manager at Club Pilates and unfortunately had a very negative experience. While the brand promotes health and empowerment, my time there was marked by disrespect, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism from ownership.

Even after resigning, I faced continued issues — including delayed responses and lack of clarity regarding my final paycheck and commissions. Communication was ignored for days, and only after multiple follow-ups did I finally receive a reply confirming payment. This type of treatment toward employees is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of organization and accountability.

I would strongly caution anyone considering employment here to ask clear questions about pay structure, leadership, and communication practices before accepting a position. The studio culture does not reflect the positive values that Club Pilates publicly claims to stand for.

I am very puzzled by recent reviews by people that have never been in studio that are negative…. Perhaps from disgruntled past employees?? My experience for the last 3+ years is nothing but positive at the North Myrtle Beach studio…..the owner is engaging in your wellness journey…. She has only top teachers but has changed my personal wellness journey. I love the members and all the wonderful instructors that challenge me every single class but make sure I am doing correct moves so no injuries…. The studio always clean and cheerful upon arrival. Very concerned and confused why some small group of people want to write these reviews. I thank the owner and every teacher to help me in my journey and wellness goals!!

The studio owner comes across as disrespectful, dismissive, and rude, even in front of members. It created a really uncomfortable and negative atmosphere that didn’t match the welcoming, professional vibe you’d expect from a Pilates studio.

You can tell the employees work hard and care about what they do, but the owner’s attitude makes it hard to enjoy the experience. I wouldn’t recommend supporting a business that treats its team this way.

I started my fitness journey 87 days ago, and during that time, I joined a Club Pilates studio near me. My home studio is in Clarksville, TN, which is a 1½-hour drive one way, but I’ve stayed fully committed.i have completed 4 months of classes. At my age and starting point health-wise, I wasn’t comfortable with where I was — but thank God I decided to start!

From day one, the Clarksville team has been welcoming, informative, supportive, and kind. They’ve made me feel capable and confident, always taking time to ensure I’m doing movements safely and correctly.

So, when it came time for my family vacation, I didn’t want to fall off track. I reached out to the North Myrtle Beach location to book classes for myself and my mom. After a few missed calls, we finally connected — the woman on the phone was pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately, our in-studio experience was very different. When we arrived, the front desk staff was curt and condescending. I brushed it off and got ready for class, but the instructor’s tone and approach made the entire session uncomfortable. Correction is one thing — I actually appreciate feedback — but this was different. The instructor was rude, belittling, and demeaning, speaking to several participants in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh. Comments like “You need to do what I’m telling you,” and “Don’t watch anyone else, she’s doing it wrong too,” also “ Everyone needs to watch me. Several people are doing everything incorrectly “ it created a tense and discouraging atmosphere.

If that had been my first Pilates class, it likely would’ve been my last. Afterward, I checked the reviews and saw the studio only had 3.2 stars, which unfortunately matched the overall vibe.

I’m so grateful my home studio in Clarksville set the bar high and showed me what Pilates can truly be — empowering, safe, and supportive. Pilates has helped me so much, and I’d hate for anyone to be turned away from it because of one negative experience.

Wishing everyone better luck and more positivity on your journey! 💪✨

The owner’s attitude toward clients is shockingly disrespectful and completely unprofessional. The staff themselves are fantastic—friendly and professional—but the owner ruins what could otherwise be a great studio.

I’ve practiced at several Pilates studios and never encountered such hostility. It’s so disheartening to see employees and customers forced to tolerate this kind of awful behavior. No one should have to tiptoe around someone just to take a class focused on health and wellness.

I strongly recommend choosing a different studio unless you like walking on eggshells. And if you do try this one, double-check for surprise unexpected charges.

Love Love Love Pilates North Myrtle Beach!
We have the most positive and friendly instructors who are encouraging, knowledgeable, energetic, and actually want to see members succeed in our own Pilates practice. #mindbodyconnection

I should have checked the reviews about the lack of customer service before signing up. I loved my Club Pilates studio in a different state, so I was excited to join the new location. They only offered level 1 and 1.5 classes, with very limited options available each day. I tried to downgrade from the unlimited package to the 8-class-per-month package after about a week for several reasons (the studio is far, I am doing a medical procedure, and I can't exercise as much). I asked the staff in person. They told me to send an email. First, they refused to downgrade. Then, when I explained that I might need to cancel altogether due to a medical procedure, they emailed me trying to downgrade. There is zero customer service, and this is not a place I want to do business with. I believe both locations are owned by the same owner.

I love NMB Club Pilates. The owner Stefanie is super friendly. All of the instructors (Jenna, Tiffany, Cayce, Sydney, Carla, Mandi) are passionate, they have great attitudes, and are very welcoming regardless of your level. I'm one of a handful of men in the classes regularly. Initially I didn't think pilates was a 'manly' thing to do, but I agreed to try it with my girlfriend and I've been at it 4-5 months now. As a former athlete that admittedly didn't stretch enough, it really helps with tight hips, hamstrings, and overall core strength and flexibility. Try it out men! It's harder than you think, but you'll see and feel the difference quickly. Keep up the good work ladies. Lisa and I always look forward to seeing you all and getting our work in at CP NMB!

The Pilates instructor herself was very polite and knowledgeable. And the facility itself is both clean and well-maintained. However, the unprofessional communication from staff, massive initiation and class fees, extremely limited hours, and almost no actual value to the classes were highly disappointing.

This is a perfect fit for either exceptionally out-of-shape or elderly persons with almost no preexisting state of fitness. If you are starting from a place of morbid obesity or zero muscle tone, you may find that this provides you with a workout. If you consider yourself to be even slightly in shape, however, you need to look elsewhere to feel as if the massive fees are providing you with any value. The fee for a single class will cost you as much as it would in a major urban city, while leaving you wondering if you did any physical activity at all.

Kimberly was rude and the energy of the studio was bad upon walking in. Will not be scheduling a class here and they lost a membership.

The complete and utter disrespect from the owner is abhorrent. The staff? Just as you’d expect and perfectly lovely but the owner? Absolutely the opposite. I frequent a different Club Pilates location and will not ever attend a class at North Myrtle specifically because of her attitude and rudeness for absolutely no reason.

I have attended numerous club pilates locations and affiliated studios, even worked for one affiliated subsidiary company. This location had some of the best staff, best trainers, and best members I have ever experienced. However all of that was made far less exceptional when the owner of the studio blatantly disrespected me and patronized me through numerous emails, phone calls, and voicemails. I have never experienced a small business owner with the utmost lack of business etiquette, personal skills, or compassion for her paying customers. I was faced with some of the most insensitive remarks and persistent phone calls and emails despite the fact that I was in the hospital for a broken leg (compound fracture). Furthermore, notwithstanding the hospitalization for the most tragic and serious injury I have ever experienced I was continually badgered by the owner and then the badgering was passed over to my loved ones as she began calling and harassing them, as I was unable to respond while in numerous surgeries.

With all that being said, the employees and instructors of the North Myrtle Beach Club Pilates are overly accommodating and exceptional at what they do. They are also so inviting and welcoming, i’d assume to make up for the lack of hospitality by their owner. I would love to recommend this business based solely on the employees however with the way the owner treated me and my family during a severe hardship I am unable to recommend this establishment to anyone besides the better business bureau.

I love Club Pilates! The classes are great and you will never take the same class twice. The instructors are all very nice and will help you out as you are learning. The studio is always clean and they have you wipe down the equipment after each class.

So excited that we have a Club Pilates in NMB now!! Spotlessly clean, excellent instructors, a variety of classes. Owner Stephanie is wonderful. You can take individual classes if that suits you better (than a membership). On line scheduling makes everything super easy. Highly recommend!!

This place looks awesome! We had the chance to attend their business after hours with Destination North Myrtle Beach. We learned a lot about pilates and what it can do for you. They have great pricing and flexible times to attend. They even also have an app to make it more convenient. Stop in and check them out. You might end up liking it!

I was visiting a friend in the area and she invited me to try out this new studio. I’ve never done reformer Pilates (only Pilates at my gym). It was such a great workout! The studio is beautiful, clean and new! Being a gym goer all my life, I appreciated how the equipment was thoroughly cleaned after class. The instructor was very good at leading the class, including this newbie. I’m planning on checking out a studio near me and look forward to hopefully doing another class at this studio in the future.

Club Pilates Studio is a great addition to North Myrtle Beach. I believe in pilates and the many health benefits it provides. Having done pilates, body pump, trx, body combat, running, walking and more I find that pilates does more for my body and mind. And yes…..you can sculpt and change your body! Our instructors provide challenging and fun classes. They are watchful to insure each of us are in the correct positions to achieve full benefit of each class. Thank you Club Pilates

I went for a trial class over a week and a half ago. The next day I called the studio 2x with some membership questions and left a message. Nobody called me back. Again, the next day I called and was ignored. After 4 calls and no response I texted the number that confirmed my class. Miraculously, I received a text that someone would call me the next day. I indicated that I wanted to join but just had a few questions. It’s now 10 days that I’ve been waiting for someone to reach out so I’m assuming they don’t want my business. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service!!! I will gladly take my money elsewhere.

This place has the most rude business owner I have ever encountered at any club Pilates I have ever been to. First, I purchased a credit online on my club Pilates app for the North Myrtle Beach location only for my card to be charged and not have class credits. The number listed on google nobody ever answered the phone even with me leaving voicemails every-time I called. It took me finally having to send an email requesting for my money back that the owner reached out to me. I should have then listened to my gut and not even wasted my time going. Giving them a chance I signed up for a class for today on February 4th only to be greeted rude. The communication was not there at all. It was such a big inconvenience because I drove way from North Carolina to come and being a single mother had to make arrangements for a sitter. She signed me up for a class that she didn’t feel confident about me taking when I made it clear the only classes I have taken was an intro class. She claims that she told me a reformer flow class but that was not made clear when we spoke at all. To make a long story short I wasted time and money and had the worst experience ever. I will never go to this studio again and will not recommend anyone unless they are the opposite of my race because clearly that seemed to be an issue too. The environment was not warm or friendly like the one that I went to in Leland NC. Someone needs to teach the owner how to treat people
