I have nothing but amazing things to say about Coastal Athletic Club. When the gym initially opened, I got a membership as it was conveniently located in Oakland Market. This gym is fantastic for content creation, a nice sauna reset, cardio, and more. The owner of the gym, Mason, is always very friendly. The staff at CAC are also helpful. If you are looking for a gym in Mount Pleasant, I highly suggest trying out CAC.

This is an awesome gym! It has a ton of equipment (all brand new), it's exceptionally neat and clean, has a great vibe and the locker rooms are equally as clean. I travel to Charleston quite a bit and this will absolutely be the gym I go to for my training. Highly recommend it!

The gym has everything you need and is pretty much the only non-class-based gym in the area, which is a big plus. However, they really need to focus on cleanliness. The bathrooms and locker rooms are not well maintained, and I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable using the showers or sauna. Hopefully, the owner sees this and makes cleanliness a bigger priority, both in the locker rooms and throughout the gym.

Selfishly I don't want to give this gym 5 stars since it might attract more members but I am so glad I found this gym. Yes, it is small and does not have every single piece of equipment like a big commercial gym ( I do miss a rowing machine or bike) but other than that it is extremely functional. It is always very clean and everyone has been extremely nice. Love my 5am morning crew!

Went here for the first time today and had a great experience! This place has a super cool vibe inside and super cool locker rooms (WITH SAUNAS)!! They also have windows which is refreshing in a gym setting! The staff is also very kind, attentive and helpful!
