A little over two years ago, as I was preparing for two separate hip replacement surgeries, a friend of mine gave me the contact information for Katie Girardi and Core Pilates. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Katie has not only helped me physically, but her passion for teaching the reasons why and how your body functions has totally changed my life. That may sound like an exaggeration, but actually those words do not accurately express all that she has done for me. Her passion and joy for educating and helping her clients is something very special. In the 2+ years I have been going to Core Pilates, I have also been able to observe the other instructors, and it is apparent they bring the same values and efforts. Best on the Island - by far. Best instructors (700 hours to certify - more than any other studio I visited and all are upbeat and clearly love to teach others and help). Best and biggest space (high ceilings, light-filled, spacious, immaculate and well decorated). Best equipment (all new plus more reformers, Cadillacs, chairs and wall towers than any other studio I tried).

We took a pilates mat class while at Hilton Head for a bachelorette party and loved it! Communication and booking were easy, and the class was one of the highlights of our trip. Katie taught our class and was so kind and accommodating for our different fitness levels. If we lived closer, we would definitely be back. Thank you!!

I'm thrilled that I chose Core Pilates to start my beginners journey! The studio is extremely clean and I really appreciate the fact that I've been welcomed with such warmth even though I'll only be attending certain weeks throughout the yr. Shout out to Jamal! Core Pilates is an excellent studio. They welcome those of us that call Hilton Head home for 1-2 weeks a year, as well as the locals. The studio is extremely clean and the instructors are excellent. This is a fabulous classical Pilates studio and I look forward to returning in the future.
