I’ve only been to 3 classes in Mt. Pleasant (for reference I was in LA prior) and the instructors at this studio are so fun and care so much!!! I’ve had the pleasure of taking sculpt classes with Sofia L. and Ava M. so far and they were both amazing!!!
One thing that stuck out to me in sculpt was what Sofia (our instructor) said when advising us to choose an intention for the day. Sofia chose to pick courage for her/anyone who didn’t pick an intention. She went on to say: “never let fear be the reason you don’t do something” which really resonated with me!
Also Ava’s classes are so energetic and fun and her routine had me feeling so accomplished by the end of the day! All the girls in her class who continue to push themselves during higher difficulty sets influence me in such great ways and motivate me to keep pushing. Truly an incredible community and I’ve loved every class I’ve taken thus far!!! I have another sculpt class tomorrow with Isabelle so I’ll keep y’all updated!!!

Offers free training, but only for BIPOC individuals. This blatant racism must not be tolerated!

ALL of the instructors are fabulous. Can’t speak more highly of them and thank you. I’m coming basically every day and love the workout. To ownership, two things. Please please reduce the Yoga Sculpt class size by 5-10 people, it will make a huge difference in the class experience. Also, in a warm room with truly maximum capacity and strenuous exercise, the air becomes very stagnant and it almost becomes hard to breathe. We could work harder at the end of the workout if these two minor tweaks were made!
Edit in response to owner’s response: “There are several factors that can account for a larger/more crowded class, like the time of day and popularity of the instructor. Generally, the capacity is based on building/fire code standards.”
This response is disappointing. I am intimately familiar with building/fire code, HVAC, etc. While building code MAY allow for the capacity of persons you currently are utilizing in that room at a single time because the room has 3 means of egress, doesn’t mean you should based on your use. YOU as the business owner decide the capacity (ideally below fire code capacity based on your use) of every single class for client comfort during their exercise experience and to maximize their exercise experience. The air gets stagnant and the instructors have to swing the front door repeatedly open and shut to get air to move. Even a reduction by 5-7 people would make a difference. Bottom line.

As a beginner yogi, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Andrea at CorePower Yoga. She’s incredibly helpful—always demonstrating the poses and offering support when anyone needs extra guidance. Every class feels fresh because she introduces one new challenging pose to focus on, which keeps things fun and motivating. And the cold lavender towels she hands out at the end? Game-changer—such a relaxing and thoughtful touch (and I’m pretty sure she’s the only one who does it!).
The rest of the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and I’ve got to say—Claire’s Sculpt class is hands-down the most hype (and most intense!) yoga class I’ve ever taken. You’ll leave drenched but proud. Highly recommend checking this place out and booking with Andrea or Claire!

Loved the workout but can’t justify spending the money when the 15 minutes before class are just spent constantly picking your mat up to make room for someone to squeeze in to overly crowded classes! PLEASE add stickers/guides on the ground for placing down mats!!! All other corepowers have had this and it helps so much

Had three excellent classes while visiting from California. There are two yoga studios and lots of class choices. Best sculpt yoga I have had outside of Northern California and just as good.

The studio is small but quality of classes heavily out weigh this. The instructors are very seasoned and if your looking for a truly relaxing and transforming hour this is the place to be! The locker rooms are always clean and spacious for the amount of space they have to work with.

My first Yoga class ever. Went to CoreRestore with Jossalyn at the Mount Pleasant Studio. An unbelievable experience in stretching, calming down and also touching base with how you are doing at the moment. Highly recommend it!

All of the instructors are so kind and so knowledgeable about their practice. The studio is always lovely and clean, and I felt welcome from the get go. Despite not having tons of experience, I never felt judged or uncomfortable in this studio. 10/10 :)

I lived in DC before moving to Charleston and was a religious CorePower sculpt-goer. Was very excited when I learned of the new studio and it has not disappointed. The Sculpt class is incredible - basically hot yoga with weights and some cardio mixed in. I've also done some C2 with them as well, which is a good change of pace, but also a great workout. The schedule is good too - they have two great studios running around the clock, so you can get one in pretty much at all hours of the day. Staff/instructors are great too. Highly recommended.

CorePower is an incredible yoga studio!!! Every instructor is motivating, enthusiastic and awesome. I absolutely love the sculpt classes. They give me a a great sweat, work my full body but also feel very safe. I look forward to going every week. I would recommend this studio to any one because they have classes that fulfill everyone’s needs. You can sweat it out in sculpt and then recover in core restore! I love this studio and can’t wait to continue going!

I have very limited Yoga experience and not only were the staff at CorePower welcoming, they recognized my skill set and assisted me in adapting the movements to a scale that would help me build to the more common movements. The instructor Kali was patient and took the extra time to make me feel comfortable in the studio and in my thin Yoga skin. I’m so excited and have a new confidence in my yoga practice! I’m making it a part of my weekly routine!

Great job by Ms. Wedny Atmaram - great work - it was touching today - well done, maintained- Super good.
I used to be part of PALA earlier while during White House Government ..i was about to get selected in National Yoga Organization in US also
yes i have done Kundalini Yoga and other Yogas while i learnt from Asian India.
As you know Yoga was invented from Asian India
and like similar to Mathematics originally Zero was invented from India but Arabs took it then to middle east and then to europe
same way Yoga has come here
