Today was the first time I'd ever contacted Crims Golf Center about an equipment matter. I called Mr. Crim to ask about getting a Ping grip installed on a used Ping putter I recently bought. Mr. Crim was at his facility to meet someone for a club fitting, but the appointment had just been cancelled at the last minute. Mr. Crim very generously waited at his facility for me to drive over with my putter and quickly changed the grip for me. I enjoyed talking with him while he did the work. I would definitely strongly recommend Mr. Crim and hope that I might possibly work with him again for lessons and a club fitting/order.

This guy is the real deal and knows his stuff. I am visiting from out of town, and have been looking for a seven wood, so I stopped in his shop. I’m about four years into the game, but have been largely confined to indoor instruction due to work and seasons. I explained I was having a hard time transferring indoor skills outdoors. I am 69 years old and have had a few lessons in my lifetime but Crims has been the most informative golf teacher that I have ever had. He is very easy to understand and will work with you. He changed a few things on my set up and I am hitting the golf ball straighter than I ever had with a lot less effort. I've always done my own thing but I had been struggling with my swing lately especially off the tee. I am also getting older an losing distance. I decided to take a lesson to see if that would help and booked it with Leland. He has has a great golf business in Greer SC and has done all my club work for years. I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Leland Crim! I am all the way in Phoenix Arizona and I called him about a golf club that I was interested in. Not only did he have that golf club he had another one I was looking for. The day I called him he explained to me that he was going on a little vacation so we wouldn’t be able to put them in the mail till he got back. What an incredible experience! Leland spent a lot of time sizing and consulting me on a new set of clubs. His approach is so relaxed and non-judgmental. As a complete amateur to the sport with a high handicap, I couldn't have felt more comfortable with the process. Great place to take lessons and coaching. I had lost my swing from watching too many Youtube videos, and had "Topper" to do 3 coaching sessions with me. Sessions were on real grass and within an hour, he had identified 3 things wrong with my swing that were costing me distance and accuracy. Easy, relaxed coaching method without a lot of technical jargon. Highly recommend for club repair and swing repair!

Not only is Mr. Crim SUPERB at his work, he is also an incredible human being. Since I moved to the upstate in July he has regripped all of my clubs, repaired clubs that needed work (club head got loose and he recognized that the people who replaced my shafts originally on didn’t do what they were supposed to do, so he fixed all of my clubs at a VERY reasonable price), he has added inches to my clubs to make them fit me better, and adjusted the loft on a few of my clubs. He sold me a top notch golf bag, and has spent time having great conversation about all types of things with myself and my children. To say that Mr. Crim can do it all is an understatement. He does it all, at a reasonable price point, and he does excellent work. As long as he is in business, he will have all of my business. I have also heard that his golf lessons are top tier as well!

I have golfed for over 30 years and over the years took lessons from 6 different pros. I recently took lessons from Leland Crim that were far and away the most effective golf lessons of my life. He eliminated my long term slice issues. He taught me to chip with confidence. Since taking the lessons my handicap has dropped from 23 to17.
