If you are looking for a trainer who will devote every minute of your visit to help you improve your strength, Joel is that trainer. His gym is private. Unlike trainers who work work with a client in a big, noisy gym, when you are with Joel you have his undivided attention. He will create a personalized fitness plan using machines and free weights, and monitor your progress with care. He will also help you improve your fitness with his knowledge of nutrition. He is very professional and handles all aspects of his training with respect for the client.

In working with Joel I found he provided exactly what he described on his website as his philosophy and experience in the fitness industry. He was amazingly intuitive and observant in customizing a fitness program specific to my current fitness level and goals. He knows when to push a bit and when to change course if something isn’t working. He definitely does not practice a “cookie cutter one size fits all” method. He has extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as nutrition. He understands the connectivity relative to the “ flow” of each movement so that I could easily “ feel” the correct trajectory and focus on the specific muscle(s) that was my intention to work. He understands the importance of training the brain as an integral part of reaching fitness goals. He’s encouraging and uses positive reinforcement/ praise. I would definitely recommend Joel !

If you are in the market for a personal fitness trainer, then look no more! Dubose Fitness center is the place to be! I found Dubose fitness center about a little over a month ago via a google search! I had just lost my previous personal trainer due to a personal matter in his life and I wanted to keep the progress going, but I was having such a hard time finding the perfect trainer match for myself. Coming across Dubose Fitness and meeting Joel has been an absolute dream come true!! Joel is very professional, patient, detailed, and passionate about what he does!! Joel definitely knows his stuff, I have never experienced a personal trainer as knowledgeable as Joel! Plus, might I add, his gym is really nice, private, super clean and has really nice equipment!! I love the fact that Joel isn’t driven by the “almighty dollar bill” but he truly cares about the overall health and well-being of his clients, both inside and out! It’s because of Joel, that I was able to be seen by a Nurse Practitioner at a local doctors office and is now being treated for health issues, that would have otherwise gone unnoticed!! I am unfortunately, on a temporary pause from training , but as soon as I get the medical release from my doctor , I will be right back in his gym and back on my weight loss journey!! I am forever grateful for Joel and Dubose Fitness Center! So give him a call today you will not be disappointed!!

Joel Dubose is a very knowledgeable trainer. He trains you based off your individual goals and knows what exercises are best for you. I use to go into the gym thinking I knew what I was doing but I was obviously wrong, he thoroughly explains each exercise and the correct way to perform it. Thanks Joel Dubose!

I am a middle aged female and former NCAA D2 athlete. I have been in gyms and weight rooms most of my life. I have used Joel DuBose as my personal trainer for about a year. I can honestly say that in the first few weeks, Joel taught me things that I had been doing wrong for a long time! Joel’s process is very deliberate and academic. He is passionate about his work.
I could not recommend him more highly. He has really helped me to greatly improve my fitness level and instilled a strong desire for me to continue on my personal path to improved fitness.

DFC was a great experience overall. Each client is worked with on an individual basis through appropriate exercises executed properly to meet their personal goals, explanations of supplements, and custom meal plans. Joel is very knowledgeable about how to get the best results for each muscle you would like to work on. His knowledge of body mechanics helps you see great results without injury. The gym is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment and a trainer who actually teaches you to use them. Great experience & very cost friendly!

I've been working with Joel for a couple of months in prep for my wedding. He's super knowledgeable and pushes to the limit. So happy I decided to do this. I've lost about 10 lbs and feel great! Joel is a great trainer and motivator. He is also very knowledgeable in every aspect of a workout and how to properly workout. He provides a lot of good advice on how to live life the healthy way.
