Where do I start? As someone completely new to yoga, I was nervous about trying my first class, but Beth at Dwell Somatic Studio made the experience absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly welcoming and created such a comfortable and calming environment.
Beth works with students at every level, shape or size and does a great job of connecting. She took the time to understand where I was as a complete beginner, what my goals were and guided me through each movement with patience and encouragement. Somatic yoga is beautifully different from traditional yoga, while it includes familiar poses, the focus is on internal awareness and truly feeling what's happening in your body rather than achieving perfect form. Beth's expertise in this approach really shows as she helps you develop that mind-body connection and release tension you didn't even know you were holding.
The studio atmosphere is so relaxing and nurturing, which perfectly supports the somatic approach of moving with full body awareness. As I moved through the movements, I found myself smiling because my body was relieved.
All I can say is I’m hooked! Dwell Somatic Studio is definitely one of those special places. Go for a yoga experience that emphasizes healing, a nervous system reset, and a gentle awareness back to all things YOU! I promise you will love Beth and everything about Dwell✨.

One of the best things I did for myself was join Beth's online yoga studio, DWELL. It was so easy for me to start a regular yoga practice with this forum, and I've met so many wonderful, genuine people. I can join live classes or watch recordings any time, filtered by parts of the body, length of time I have, and specific types of movement. Beth's retreats are also top notch. So much so, that I continuously attend year after year. They are the perfect balance of scheduled practice and free time. She really embraces the location you're in to provide the best experience possible.

I attended an in-person class in Charleston in 2022 and attended a retreat the same year at the urging of a friend. I am so glad I did! I have made some wonderful connections, and even though I live in the Pacific Northwest I am able to practice yoga with an amazing group of people through my online class membership. The monthly subscription is much less expensive than the cost of drop in classes at most studios and we often spend time checking in with each other before class online. I haven't even mentioned the actual classes or Beth yet! As I have told Beth a few times now: as soon as I hear her voice my blood pressure drops. Practicing yoga with her online has truly been transformative. These classes are truly for all levels and Beth has created a special community.

I have been doing yoga as part of the Dwell community for almost a year, and it is one of the best things I've ever signed up for. The live virtual yoga classes are at convenient times, and I love that I don't need to leave the house. Having a personalized experience is important to me for my yoga practice, and Beth is so welcoming, she makes me feel like I'm not hundreds of miles away! The yoga itself is perfect for all levels. I can't recommend Beth and the Dwell online yoga community enough!

Absolutely LOVE the Dwell online platform for Beth Cosi Yoga and Somatic Movement!!
I began as a complete novice, knowing NO poses, breath work, or anything! I have learned SO MUCH about my own body, my strength, and areas that need more work!! I often come to class so tight and stiff, and leave feeling renewed- every time!! If not for the virtual platform, I would rarely make it to class! ❤️ Beth Cosi and Dwell

Signing up for the Dwell online yoga membership with Beth Cosi was the best gift I could give myself. 2 live classes a week and huge library of recorded classes & the website is super user friendly! Even with it being online, it still builds a great yoga community!

Such an amazing, magical and emotional Retreat. Beth Cosi, provided the safe space to feed my soul, feel my feelings and nourish my body.
My biggest take away, and this is going to be wordie is,
I am never alone in my journey. The light and the love is always around me and us! I need to open my heart, mind and spirit to embrace and see what has always been there. Being graced to share my week of pilgrimage back to self, light and peace with this group of ladies has been just what I needed at this time in my life. Beth and Kendra guiding me throughout my stay, is going to continue to be with me for the rest of my time. My heart is full! ❤️🙏🌲

Just returned from a NC mountain yoga retreat. Beth thoughtfully guided us in a movement practice reflective of the space; the weekend was a blend of introspection and outdoors. Equal parts community, beauty and stillness.

I just returned from a Mountain Yoga Retreat that Beth carefully planned. She really attended to every detail that not only allowed us to experience a restorative location while enjoying a yoga-centric fellowship, but there was also - and just as important - room to breathe. Beth's presence was not just as guide/leader, but also fellow practitioner and FRIEND. She gives from way deep down and her events show it. This yoga retreat was the first at the Tryon location, and she admitted to some nervousness about the offering. But the Tryon house was perfect! It's an old house, with old bones. All the guests however were immediately on board with what the house came to be - incredible character, smells, sounds, a bit of community living, space to spread out and BE. Beth's yoga retreat leaves you feeling different and better - in ways that show up days after you've returned to the real world. I whole-heartedly recommend any of Beth's retreats to do some good for yourself, and make meaningful connections with new friends along the way.

The Tryon Mountain Yoga Retreat was absolutely amazing! The yoga practices, scenery, location, food, activities, and especially the community were just perfect. Beth's attention to detail and obvious care for each of us made it a unique, special experience. My heart is full and body is relaxed.

I just returned from a mountain yoga retreat with Beth Cosi and it was WONDERFUL- the most wonderfulest. Beth thinks of everything to make her guests comfortable. Her pre-retreat communication really helped me to feel confident that I knew what to expect and I knew how to get there. She also uses the pre-retreat communication as a way to begin to make COMMUNITY and I love that. She also carefully gets to know each of her guests and goes out of her way to make them comfortable and feel uniquely welcomed. She sets an agenda at the beginning of the yoga retreat but she feels out the group and makes changes to accommodate what the group needs- rather than rigidly following the schedule. As an example, on the first morning almost everyone slept a bit later than they intended- the first morning after a day of travel can be that way. I rushed to get ready for the yoga class and someone said to me- 'Beth is going to let us miss a yoga class' and they were right.
For the most part, we did not really know each other before the yoga retreat but Beth had a way of bringing us all together in a supportive way. There is some magic juju she does that makes people cooperate with each other and not be competitive.
Another great thing about the way Beth Cosi puts together a mountain yoga retreat is the yoga itself. She teaches hatha flow and yin always with a focus on body work. She emphasizes the importance of listening to your body and paying attention to the fascial connections to maximize strength and agility. Oh and of course- breath work. Now take a breath, hold it at the top, and let it out- pay attention to your exhale- make it longer.
Finally- the MOUNTAINS make a great backdrop for a Mountain Yoga Retreat. We got out and into those mountains with a wonderful guide she brought with us- Todd Roy of themountainwanderer.org I can't wait to go on another Mountain Yoga Retreat with Beth Cosi Yoga!!

Beth Cosi was an excellent yoga teacher!!! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking to lead a private yoga class. We had her come to our rental house and teach outside on our deck, and she was prompt and communicative. She asked what kind of class we were interested in, and created the most perfect flow to match out vibe and varying yoga levels. Afterward we all felt energized and restored. We also lovedddd her playlist and were talking about how great the music was for the rest of the trip. She had a wonderful, calming vibe, and we felt totally safe having her come to the house as she maintained a good distance and arrived in a mask, which was a big deal for our Covid-conscious group of ladies. Will definitely be using Beth again if we find ourselves in Charleston in the future!

Bendy Brewski Yoga brings the best of 2 worlds together - beer at local breweries and yoga! The instructors of Bendy Brewski Yoga all come with different teaching styles, but are all patient, kind and excellent instructors to ensure the safety and education of the students. I love attending classes and enjoy the company of the fellow Bendy Brewski yogis!
