This place is a scam. They wouldn't let me cancel my membership dispite moving and not being able to go to the gym. They wanted a $250 cancelation fee to end my contract early so I just let them charge me for 6 months without using the gym to avoid the fee. After the contact ended, the increased my monthly pay (without permission) and are still not letting me cancel. Card has now been canceled due to this place scamming and cheating people. No wonder they had to sell as Gold's Gym to this new name so they can continue scamming people.

Do not go to this gym under any fitness plans or specials that they offer. They will tell you you can cancel any time with written cancellation then deny your request when you follow their direction.I haven't attended this gym since July and has recently gotten a bill for over 500 dollars. This gym is not worth the pay or headache. Unless you're into free weights just go to planet fitness. More affordable and less scams to take your money when wanting to leave. Also I have the documentation to post of me sending off my letter to cancel per YOUR policy. Do better

I constantly travel, due to work, so I’ve been to plenty of gyms around the country. This gym is hands down one of the greatest gyms I’ve been to. The facility its self is extremely clean and well taken care of. The best part, in my opinion, is the staff; they’re extremely friendly and never fail to ask how your day is going. I haven’t been at this gym in over a year and a half as I no longer live in Orangeburg .. they have been taking the $55 membership fee out of my account for a year and a half… in order for me to cancel I have to write a note and pay $165 for a 90 day notice. Due to Covid my funds are not the same. They have no sympathy.. I’ve literally been giving them a free $55 for a year and a half but they won’t cancel my policy unless I pay $165 to leave. This is terrible I will NEVER get another membership at this place .

Excellent gym! If you are looking for a good workout they have all hammer strength plate loaded machines as well as plenty of free weights. There is cardio equipment downstairs and an indoor track upstairs with more cardio equipment. They have a ladies only weight room. The gym also has an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and saunas. To top it all off, there is a restaurant In the same building called Fit Street. If you are ever in the area, stop in for a workout and great food. You will not be disappointed

This Gold's Gym has it all. All the machines you need CrossFit area powerlifting area racquetball I mean it's got it all it's definitely worth visiting if you just want to get a day pass work out. It was the only gym that I could find open within a 1 hour radius from Charleston during Hurricane Dorian. Staff was very friendly restroom for clean, weights were in all their positions and not all over the floor. This particular Gold's Gym even has some awards. Now after working out there I can clearly see why fantastic gym

It is a good gym with a lot of options and all new equipment. Unfortunately they do not offer many of the discounts that golds offers seeing as they are a franchise. Started working out in august of 2015 ended up spending everyday in Golds Gym of Orangeburg. Started working as Golds this year and have loved every second of it. Fit Street is a awesome healthy restaurant that is open during the week and is great to grab a healthy meal at after working out or just on your lunch break. Ever since I stumbled into the gym just to fulfill a promise that I'd check it out; my entire world has improved.

The tour was the best. But they didn't end there. They worked to ensure my family could afford their payment plans. The staff continued to address any questions I and my wife may have had, as we became acclimated to the gym.

Our kids enjoy it to. They feel safe and free enough to test the equipment.

My health has improved since joining in December 2015 and I look forward to getting even healthier.

I suspect the atmosphere of being health conscious is partly the reason I prefer Gold's Gym over the YMCA.

Golds gym is the best gym around. There is something for everyone. From cardio, spin classes, swimming, Hot tub, steam rooms racquetball, lifting weights and much more.
My dad starts his day by going to the gym at 5am everyday. So, wether your an early riser or want to go at a later time they are open until 10 pm Monday - Friday. So, if you have never checked it, stop in for a full tour of the GOLDS GYM Facilities and tell them Buford Dibble sent you.

This Gold's Gym is truly one of a kind, only further exasperated by the fact that it's located in Orangeburg SC. The only negative I have may be a positive attribute for you, it is a family gym. There are plenty of activities and child care options to allow parents to fill the gym with kids, young and old. Also- cleaning wipes were not readily available. I had to search and eventually ask where cleaning wipes are to wipe down machines!

Daily rate: $10

The weight room is large and well stocked. (Plenty of squat racks to go around!) I was there midday on a weekday and the crowd was so nice! However around 3 PM a group of teenage boys did make their way in and begin to easily overwhelm certain pieces of equipment, which is not ideal.

The cross training area is incredible, full turf to allow sled pushing/tire flipping. There is a large jungle gym to allow for diverse and versatile workouts.

The gym has two types of locker rooms, a quick change which has about 30 lockers (bring your own lock) and two full bathrooms. Also executive style locker rooms which are plush and include saunas.

Their gym cinema option is awesome. It has treadmills and ellipticals, in front of a huge movie theater screen in a darkened room.

There is as pool!

The manager and his son are pleasures to work with! When I'm in Orangeburg I'll be sure to stop by again.

Stuck in a non cancellation contract which is crap. My job is downsizing and I can't really afford to continue but cannot get out of contract nor sell contract to someone else. The staff made it so nice to come to them because I was originally at the YMCA. should of stayed with YMCA at least I could cancel when I wanted to and maybe go back later. This stinks.
