It’s the only gym on my mom’s town and I love coming here when I visit.

Definitely a small town vibe but everyone is friendly and as a black woman who is definitely from the city it always feels safe and comfortable.

There’s alot of machines, dumbbells, areas for different kinds of workouts. I like variety, some are a little older but still work great. People mentioned broken items, but I have not experienced anything like that and have been there several times over the years when I go visit.

Bodies are to be covered up as it is a religious and modest gym. They are really nice and you can easily it $10 day passes just by walking in(ring the bell) so it’s a good deal.

I couldn't get a membership due to not longer allowing kids under 13 yr old even in the door with parent. My kid wanted to get into the gym and I hyped all about it just for them to act like it's a nightclub or bar

I been stuck in Cheraw for 3 days for work and traveling through, I really needed a shower so I called Fitness Worldwide and I spoke to very nice and southern hospitality gentleman and advise him I been sitting for work for 3 days and needed to shower, and I ask how much would he charge for me to do that? He replied for me to call when I get there, and I did and he walk me through to the showers and advise to just clean up after myself and no charge. The people and gym is great! Honestly overall everywhere I’ve been here in Cheraw for the most part have shown exceptional southern hospitality. Thank you FW and Cheraw, SC!!!!

Had an issue with my membership (one I've had with no problems for five years) and the guy at the counter was extremely dismissive. Went to another location and explained what happened and the problem was fixed in 5 minutes.

Most equipment is out of date/maintenance. A lot of useless machines nobody uses. Space could be used to add some more bench presses as there are not enough. Especially in evening.Management lately has been very spotty. Very hot even in mornings. Still its all we got in Cheraw. And its pretty solid in a lot of ways. But if another gym showed up I would switch. Bennettsville fitness world is super nice but dont have the time to go there.

Lots of updates have been made included the mens locker room which needed it badly! New equipment and lots more weights have been added. Fresh paint inside makes the atmosphere much more motivating. Miss Jenny at the front desk is great and we also appreciate the guy they have hired for the afternoons. Hes always very helpful and keeps things clean! Miss Linda and Mr Chester are also usually there and glad to help out if you need it. We love the changes that have been made and appreciate all the hard work! Thank you!

Plenty of cardio equipment. 6 life fitness elliptical machines. 10-12 treadmills 6 stairsteppers and several other cardio machines.

Tanning is free with membership if you wish.

Plenty of free weights and machines for your workout. (Some are older but are perfectly functional)

The staff was so pleasant and helpful and actually met me prior to business hours to let me join (all nc gyms closed)

Big variation of equipment, but nearly 50% is damaged or broken. Cleaniness is not really good. The locker rooms or the shower is disgusting. But they have luck they are the only gym in a 15 mile radius.

I love Fitness World!!! The membership prices are very fair. Included with your membership you're granted 24/7 access along with a wide variety of equipment and classes for all of your fitness needs. A couple perks are the saunas and the showers. I'd highly recommend this establishment to anyone at any fitness level. ☺️

2.5 stars. Fairly clean and large gym with good variety of equipment. Offers gym classes. However-- has a very strong odor, no locker rooms or showers, no pool, no yoga mats to do body weight exercises, no overhead fans.

The gym in Cheraw conveniently "loses" its air conditioning every spring for at least a month if not more. I suffer from heatstroke and hypertension and cannot workout in a hot gym.
The other problem I have is two of the trainers tie up equipment of which there is only one of in the gym, making it impossible to complete a workout in the time I have available.

TOO HOT!!!! Could not work out today because it was too hot inside. Others were also complaining about the heat. Last year I could not work out for a month because the AC was out.

Tried again today, 3/12/2015. They're solution was to prop the doors open instead of turning on the AC. Cancelling my membership.
