Joined about one month ago. Easy access and no yearly contract for a fair price. They have a lot going on and have a good mix of all ages. I would highly recommend checking them out!!!

This lady takes up the whole gym with her group of girls. They have tripods and video where I and most don’t want to be part of any video. The early crowd comes for a workout to get in and out avoiding crowds. She’s loud and takes over the whole functional gym area in the morning around 5 am. It is really a deterrent for people because they use everything.
-Recommendation if it’s a class it should be in the open area or at the all ladies center to avoid crowding.

The trainer in the morning works with a large group, which is fine. The problem is the people she trains have cameras set up everywhere. It’s impossible to be in the same room with them without being in their videos. If this isn’t fixed soon I’ll have to cancel my membership and tell everyone I know not to go here

Dude works at the W. Palmetto St. place from 8am till 9pm blasts a boombox so loud I could not hear my music in my headphones, and they are noise canceling headphones. There used to be a guy who worked out with earplugs in. I haven't seen him on a while can't imagine why. Guess I'll go back to Planet Sickness. At least I can hear myself think.

I was a member for over 2 years before I left. It started great but has gone down hill. Management has chased off their best employees and most of the serious lifters. The equipment is old and not suited for any lifting discipline. Go to Extreme Fitness instead.

I have been weightlifting for 1 year. I always went to planet fitness because of the affordability. Recently I decided to pay the extra $20/ month to level up my workout experience. I love the gym, the atmosphere, BUT the female “trainer,” was E X T R E M E L Y and I mean extremely rude. She approached my friend and I while we were in sports bra in the corner of the gym working out. She didn’t approach the situation professionally she came in too hot and heavy. I have never been belittled and body shamed before and that’s exactly what this trainer did. A “TRAINER,” was body shamming two women trying to better themselves because of her own insecurities. I have never been treated like that and to be completely honest it will not be tolerated. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This situation is sad considering how much we love this gym and how often we go. I love how friendly Terrance is and it’s such a reprieve after working so much and such long hours. Even when I do not want to go to the gym and I cannot muster enough energy I go because I know Terrance will be there. I appreciate the kind people there

Definitely one of the best atmospheres for a gym I have ever seen. Everyone I have met has been polite. Tons of equipment. I go very early and at that time, there is no issue with getting the equipment you need. The price is also very reasonable. Definitely worth at least doing a drop in to see.

I've been a member at the fitness world on Cashua Drive adjacent Foodlion for a few months now and don't get to go as often as I would like. This morning while escorting my fiancee (who is beginning a new healthy lifestyle) I was rudely confronted by a ”trainer” ( not an actual employee ) who demanded to see my gym card the moment we came through the door. My fiancee explained she had her card and we have a joint membership and she could look it up in the computer, but the ”trainer”was not an employee and she could not. Me and my fiancee quietly and peacefully did our work out and my fiance left our names with the ”trainer” so that she could forward it to an employee and they could clock the hours we were there for our work out. The gym manager I know only as Ms. D felt our behavior was so outrageous that she called my fiance and threatened to cancel our memberships. I'm a quiet person and I do my best to avoid trouble. But it was embarrassing and hurtful to be singled out in such a rude way. I didn't see any other person who came in ( and there were quite a few ) get scrutinized and confronted. It was a real set back for me and my fiancee whose spirits I work hard to keep up in hope she sticks to her new healthy life style. I've been a member at a lot of different gyms but I've never been treated so rudely for doing absolutely nothing wrong in my life.
