Just started my fitness journey here. Have been to other gyms before but Gold’s is far superior. Everyone is friendly, no judgement for my lack of gym experience. I chose the personal trainer route. My trainer is Blair, he is extremely knowledgeable, and credentialed. 10/10 would recommend. It’s a journey you just have to start.

A great gym to work out at, they have great equipment and seem to fix machines quickly.

I do have to say there are times when the staff doesn't show in the AM shift and I have had to wait for the better part of an hour for someone to show, along with the men's showers being out of service a lot and taking a long time to be fixed. (Edit, I write this part as I sit in the parking lot waiting for someone to show up for their shift. We’ve had the gym opened late 6+ times in the last few months)

The staff is friendly, but they have high turnover.

Great gym. I love Gold's. I moved and then joined another gym but it felt sub-par to Gold's. I cancelled that membership and when I moved again I rejoined Gold's. Best decision- its clean, nothing ever out of order. Friendly informative staff and don't forget the protein shakes made right there. Awesome!

Everyone here is so nice and I really loved coming here. The whole gym is always clean no matter what time of the day you go. My boys loved going to the kids club and actually looked forward to going every day. You will always be greeted by a smiling face. Staff and everyone was also so welcoming and made us feel comfortable.

I can't really tell which gym it's asking me to give a review on. So, I can tell you the gym in Greer is absolutely disgusting. They don't clean very well and the manager is very laxidasical. I almost got injured in a machine there and I even want wonder if they took the machine out of service. Considering I'm a certified personal trainer and been training for over 30 years. Now on the bright side of things for Gold's Gym. Go to the South Pleasantburg location. It's much cleaner, the staff seems more courteous. That Greer location just seems like they just don't care.

The gym is great as far as the equipment, by far the best gym in the area for that. The reason this gets one star is because I have to be here at 5 am due to being at work by 7. Since I have been a member since the beginning of September, this place hasn't been open at 5 am multiple times during the week ( Monday- Friday). If you need to be here by 6 am I heard it is open by then, and this place is for you. As for me saddly I will end my membership when my contact ends this September and go back to my old gym that opens at 5 am.

I used to workout at Gold's Gym in Clemson so I figured I would join this one. I have really enjoyed it! The staff is always nice and inviting. The variety of classes really appeal to everyone. All the amenities are worth what you pay. This location even has a pool! The whole place is always very clean which is the #1 attribute I look for when choosing a gym. The location is also convenient, I have never really had to deal with traffic even going around 5-6 of an evening.

This is the best gym I have been a member at! The facility alone sells itself, it's clean and equipped with the top of the line fitness equipment.the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very involed in seeing and encouraging you to achieve your fitness goals! I encourage anyone to check out their fitness classes as well, the instructors are full of energy which really helps me push myself throughout the workout! I haven't had an opportunity to try out the swimming pool or whirlpool they have but other members enjoy it. However, their sauna is a fantastic way to complete my workout! I definitely recommend checking this gym out if you're in the market for one!

I have always had a hard time sticking with a gym for very long. Excuses always come up and life gets in the way. I joined Golds on Pleasantburg in January and haven't looked backed. The employees help keep me motivated and coming back for more. Golds has everything you could want or need in a gym. Great employees and a great ranch of equipment that can be used by a wide range of skill levels.

Bigger than the Gold's at Cherrydale. More squat racks, most importantly. Swimming pool is an actual pool and not a hot tub size. Just overall much cleaner feel and equipment is just as clean. Right now the traffic is fairly slow in there so it's perfect for people who like lifting without a crowd.
