I was invited by Erin, one of the lovely instructors, to join a session. The location was easy to find right above the cooking store on king st. Beautiful, clean, relaxing studio where we practiced a beautiful flow. I appreciate how connected Erin is with her community and how she brings her eloquent thoughts/feelings to light with her teachings of yoga. It wasn’t just my body that left feeling great, she also elevated my thoughts. Thank you for all you do and I can’t wait to join again

I had the absolute joy of practicing at this studio while visiting Charleston, and it was nothing short of amazing. Erin Grayce, the instructor and owner, is truly inspiring—her teaching weaves together mindful attention to the body and alignment, the breath, and the deeper philosophy of the practice in such a beautiful way. The space itself is gorgeous and welcoming, and the entire experience felt deeply grounding and uplifting. My only regret is that I can’t be here every day! As a sweet bonus, getting to visit with her pups after Savasana made the practice even more special. A gem of a studio and an experience I’ll carry with me long after my visit.

They had sidewalk chalk board out with "release the hostages". It's an odd choice in a welcome sign for a place that advertises as INCLUSIVE.
Being genocide affirming doesn't fit in with a mindful practice like yoga (imo) but use that knowledge as you will.

We booked a private yoga class for my friends bachelorette trip and it was amazing. Highly recommend! She taylor the class to what the bride wanted. Great for all yoga experience levels. She provided the yoga mats and blocks and cold refreshing lavender towels at the end. We even got to give her dog a treat and the end!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this studio and Erin! We did a private yoga session for my best friend’s bachelorette and it was the perfect start to our weekend. Erin, the owner, is an incredible, personable, and talented yoga instructor. The space is also gorgeous!! If I come back to Charleston, I will absolutely be coming here again!!!

I’m writing this review 6 months after taking classes at Grayce because I still can’t stop thinking about how great it was!
I went to Grayce a few times when I was in Charleston for a month for a work training in February/March. I took Saturday morning classes with Erin, who made me feel so welcomed as soon as I entered the beautiful studio. Erin has a presence that makes you immediately feel at ease; exactly what you want when you step into a yoga studio.
As a yoga teacher who prioritizes functional movement, it’s hard for me to find yoga teachers whose style I jive with, but Erin’s classes were everything I could have dreamed of. Her sequences are unique and will make your body feel strong yet supple. Seriously, if you love your body, you need Grayce Yoga.
After class I was greeted by her sweet lab, Wilbur. The best surprise. My biggest regret is that I didn’t go more frequently when I could. I can’t wait to go back to Charleston for a class!

I moved to Charleston over a year ago and one of the first things I did when I moved here was go on a search for a soul aligned yoga studio. The search came to completion as soon as I found Grayce. This studio has such a warm, welcoming embrace and from the moment I stepped foot in there I felt so inspired. The asana classes are beautifully orchestrated to push you through resistance bringing you into union with your mind, body, breath. Erin and her gals are such kindhearted souls that will welcome you with open hearts and arms. I feel immense gratitude to have found a soul aligned yoga studio that holds integrity in the Yoga practice and integrity within Self. Grayce is inspiring. If you are reading this, this is your alignment, go check out this amazing sanctuary. You won’t regret it.
Also not to mention, it’s absolutely gorgeous in there. The design work is stunning and allows for a feeling of lightness when we are flowing our bodies.

Grayce Yoga is a serene and welcoming space in downtown Charleston; surrounded by antique wood, raw brick, and facing an open window to the light and leaves of the world outside. The focus is on strength-building, balance, and anatomical precision. I was recently in Charleston and joined Erin’s strong and still classes, and look forward to my next Charleston visit to experience Grayce Yoga again!

Highly recommend the “strong” class for a wonderful workout, but any class is great! Clean studio, not on top of the person next to you, and each instructor is different but works you in different ways than the next. 10/10, love this place so much!!

My wife and I were visiting Charleston for just a few days, and decided to try Erin’s strong yoga class on a last minute whim. Wow are we glad we did! Erin’s class was very welcoming, especially for myself as a yogi newcomer, and it was an extremely challenging class that built gradually. The space is beautiful, clean, and nicely laid out. No pomp and circumstance, very genuine in design and their discipline. My wife, who is a certified instructor herself was very impressed. After the class Erin was very kind to share her personal experiences about the city and we really enjoyed talking with her to learn about the local energy of the town. Try a class!

I was incredibly happy with my experience here. Grayce is phenomenal and her studio was second to none. I’ve never had as positive of an experience as I did here. I recommend anyone try this place, even if you’ve never tried yoga before. I promise she will make you fall in love.

Grayce Body and Breath is not the usual yoga studio. It has been designed to facilitate a biomechanically aware practice which can be done by anyone, regardless of previous experience. Yet, there is very little about it that does not challenge the mind or the body in ways that are positive and powerful. Erin, the studio owner, is an accomplished and intellectually acute teacher, who also, is blessed with personal warmth and a good sense of humor. She understands the anatomical details of yoga practice with great precision, but also the mind and body implications of what a good practice provides. The essence of this is that she has developed a practice that is both healing and sustainable. She also is blessed with an excellent teaching staff – Danielle, Lauren and Daisy are all sophisticated in their understanding of yoga practice and importantly, make everything that they do accessible and intuitive to their students. With Grayce Yoga, I have built, and am continuing to build, a yoga practice that I look forward to taking with me into the years that come. I heartily recommend coming to their studio and building along with them.

Grayce Yoga is one of the most genuine, authentic yoga studios that I have ever practiced at. I strongly believe that a yoga practice has the ability to create a powerful shift in your life, and Grayce Yoga is a beautiful example of this. The space is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Erin leads a beautiful practice, and creates a space that is welcoming to students of all levels. You can feel the authenticity of a leader who pours their heart and soul into being in service to others, and Erin is the epitome of this. I could not recommend this studio enough. I was introduced to this studio after my girlfriend spent a month in Charleston, and I can honestly say we considered making a move to Charleston because of Grayce Yoga.

I moved to Charleston recently and said that the only thing I really need to feel like this is home is a great yoga studio and I found it with Grayce yoga. Classes with Danielle and Erin have grounded me and I almost did a handstand yesterday after a month of the Soar classes. Such a special space and group of instructors.

I can’t quite express just how lovely this studio is in just a matter of a few sentences. From the initial conversation of planning a private, personalized class, I felt that Ms Erin Gray would be exactly who I had been searching for. The studio itself was beautiful, clean, and had an undeniably welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. In that hour that my girls group of 5 spent strengthening, connecting, and breathing on the mats during a weekend away, none of us would’ve guessed that it would become the highlight of our trip to Charleston. We came to the studio bright eyed on our first day and truly left feeling rejuvenated, more connected with our own body & mind, each other, and talked about it for the rest of the day. I really could go on and on about how lovely Grayce, and specially Erin, were. She was a wonderful instructor, but even after the class she happily carried on conversation and gave recommendations, like as if we had been friends forever. All around I would say that if you ever find yourself in Charleston, take a class at Grayce and feel the difference it can make in your life in just one hour! I am already looking forward to going back.

I was looking for a yoga studio where I could continue my practice while visiting Charleston for a wedding and I feel so lucky to have found Grayce Yoga! I visited twice, one class with Lauren and the other with Erin, both were wonderful instructors - welcoming, warm, and knowledgable. The space has beautiful energy to it too. I highly recommend Grayce Yoga to anyone looking for a nourishing yoga class in a lovely space!

I am a long time yoga practitioner. When I arrived in Charleston, I searched for yoga near me. Fortunately, Grayce Yoga came up. The Soar class looked interesting as a lover of inversions. Danielle was warm and welcoming. The studio is beautiful- spacious, with natural light pouring in. The class was amazing. Funky Dolphin into a one legged flying baby crow! I returned the next day and the next. Erin is knowledgeable, not just about asana and breath; she also incorporates the gaze and the nervous system. The practice layers glute/hamstring and core engagement with an intentional breath and a long gaze. I left class with that wonderful feeling that I challenged myself, but I didn’t hurt myself. Charleston is a great town. Grayce Yoga was my favorite part of my trip!

I was visiting Charleston and randomly selected Grayce Yoga based on its proximity to my hotel. What a lucky coincidence. I loved the first class so much that I went back for a second longer class before we left. What a lovely space, vibe, and practice!

This space, the practices, the instruction, music, and instructors, are my special home in the heart of Charleston. There's a reason that everyone's reviews cite practicing at Grayce Yoga as the very finest experience. I practice here as often as I am able. Every time, I depart feeling elated and replenished.

I’ve been practicing yoga for several years and am typically drawn to hot, energetic workouts (which I do still love). But Grayce Yoga Studio provides a different approach that is accessible for every type of body. The practices are both mentally and physically rigorous, and I admire studio owners who continue to remain students themselves.
I appreciate the beauty of the space in downtown Charleston, and I love the way I feel when I arrive - and leave.

I took a class with Erin a few years ago and found her to be an incredibly thoughtful and effective teacher. When I heard she was opening Grayce I knew I had to check it out and I have not been disappointed. Erin teaches body-breath course called STRONG that enhances mobility by preparing the muscles and focuses on alignment. After years of exercising incorrectly and not knowing very much about my muscles and bones, Erin's class is a learning moment, a moment of peace and time to explore all the things my body can do (not to mention the environment/space she has created is stunning). If you want to explore yoga in Charleston, let Grayce be one of the first places you go.
