We sent my niece here for a few months shes 6 (she really wanted to try karate). It wound up not being her niche but this place was fantastic. If your kids or even yourself want to learn I would definitely recommend this place.

Have seen my son grow up physically stronger and emotionally more stable with Karate. He has become engaged in the lifestyle, and apply what he has learned to other facets outside the Dojo. His teachers and Sensei(s) are very engaged and care for each child. Highly recommended!

I have 2 children at Hobbs Family Karate and we love it there. We have been there close to a year now. They do weapons training and two types of martial arts. My kids enjoy their classes and instructors. They are learning a lot!

Aaron, Mo, and staff are the absolute best in the business! This is coming from an elementary school educator with 2 autistic boys who aren’t enrolled in karate anymore(due to therapies and Boy Scouts), but I still have to give this school and staff the biggest kudos! They were patient, helpful, and so knowledgeable teaching my boys and myself as I took the adult classes and one-on-ones with my boys. It was a great bonding experience for us, and we learned so much while working on physical fitness and skills like perseverance, self discipline, strength, and growth. Hobbs Family Karate is the epitome of class business and school! Also, when you earn rank in this dojo it is certainly that: earned and never bought! If you are interested in martial arts there is no better place than at HFK!

They have been a Godsend for us! My daughter is autistic and ADHD and can be a struggle to teach. I have never meet a group of teacher more dedicated to holding her accountable but also giving her just the right amount of grace. They also promote a great family atmosphere, and all the other students are so good with her. She has grown so much in the last 5 months, and we could not be more pleased!

Way over priced, beware the terms, "we help single parents" they'll only do that if you can afford to pay. There's no help for single fathers. Nobody, even these people give a damn. Just about money. They even charge you to quit their school. It's all about the money.

Just checked out the facility because a friend told me about their new after school program and because of my new job I won’t be off in time to pick up my daughter. This place is awesome, and the staff is even more awesome. My daughter is going to love being able to learn new skills and meet new friends !

I am new to town and my son was very interested in karate I found this place and it was the best decision I have ever made. That staff was so loving and taught my son a lot of martial arts moves . Love this place. I got to learn from two amazing humans, Senseis Mo and Grady. They’re truly invested in learning and teaching and do it in a way that is entertaining as well as effective. I can’t wait to start learning from them both on a regular basis!

If you are looking for real karate. This is the place. Okinawa kenpo has roots going back to the 1600s and is a very powerful karate, Plus Sensei Hobbs is a amazing teacher and has an amazing dojo here. If you want to try karate or your child to try karate, give this a definite chance it's worth it
