Ignite Dance Greer is an AMAZING studio!? Top notch in my book. Both our daughters have been dancing here for 3 years now and absolutely ADORE their teachers and the classes so much that they never want to leave! Not only have we witnessed our daughters’ confidence and commitment levels soar but Miss Amanda treats you like family whether you are a recreational dancer or a company team dancer. There is no body shaming here and your kids are provided with an environment that fosters the habits, respect and discipline needed for life skills as they move into their future. Highly Recommend!

Amanda Durham puts her students and staff first. I spend a lot of my days with her while she’s working, whether answering emails, checking on her students, or running errands for her studio. I think it is easy to see disgruntled posts when they appear... especially when they are anonymous or listing themselves "A Google User"! Social media makes negative and half truths easy because you do not have to face your accusers directly. It is easy to twist the truth for your own agenda.
Anyone who knows anything about this studio and the staff... knows they are nothing but loving and dedicated. Nobody is perfect, but it will be hard to find a more dedicated dance studio to help your child become the best dancer they can be!

I have read all of the comments that are bordering on slanderous. Some people are so malicious and jealous that they have nothing better to do with their lives but too make others as miserable as they obviously are. These teachers have done nothing but love your children and all of their students. EVERYONE has been treated fairly. I am so proud of the owner (yes, she's my daughter) and all of the staff. Also, the students are so amazing.

I have read the stories below and while I am so sad the children suffered I also know there are two sides to every story. I have witnessed growth in 2 specific dancers that is remarkable. The dance lessons these girls get is unparalleled to the other studio I was previously familiar with. Not only has their ability improved but their confidence, friendships, and love for dance has grown 1000%. If my daughter could attend this school I would send her there in a heartbeat. They truly ignite a love and passion for dance in their dancers!!

my daughter and son love dancing at Ignite. they have learned so much about themselves through dance and movement. their self confidence has grown and so has their discipline. we are currently driving 45 minutes one way, multiple times a week because no other studio can be close to the kind of love and compassion our family recieved here. Amanda, Jody, Sarah, Caitlyn, Courtney, and Tori have all poured into my children great values that I hope will last a lifetime. the instrustors do more than just teach dance here, they genuinely care about the best for our little dancers. they are also open to flexibility and care for those with special needs and young ages. thank you ignite for being our home away from home! and lets not forget about Father Turner!! he is pretty cool and super understanding!

Our daughter loves dancing with Ignite. I know that when she is there she is being held accountable and responsible. She's expected to show respect. She is encouraged and taught to encourage others. I’m in the same situation as Tracy. Explained to the the owner that my daughter would not be returning after nationals. Received several written confirmations that my daughter would be good to stay through nationals. 30 minutes after recital was over, I received a notice dismissing my 12 year old from the studio. She would not be able to attend nationals and I would not be refunded the $730 I paid that allowed others to dance in her place.

Paid for a Nationals dance competition over $600. Gave a notice that my daughter would be pursuing other opportunities after nationals 6 weeks ago. Confirmed email stating that we are good through nationals. I get an email night of recital dismissing my 10 year old from the studio, not allowed to attend Nationals and NO refund.
