Go see Colin at JustYou Fitness if you’re ready to get serious with your health, your nutrition, and overall well being. You won’t be disappointed! Colin is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He takes the time to get to know what goals are most important to you, what motivates you without being a drill sergeant (unless you want that of course! I’m sure he can do that too!), and helps calculate nutrition needs. He also mixes up your workouts and monitors your heart rate in Real Time to help you get the most out of your workout. He’s the best!

This has been my first experience working with a personal trainer, and Colin has been amazing!
I’ve been training with him for just over two months and have already lost more than 20 pounds. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and always explains which muscles each exercise targets.
He'll show you the correct form for each exercise and if you have any injuries, he really keeps them in mind during the workout, and makes modifications to reduce any impact that would further aggravate the injury.
Colin is always fine-tuning the workouts to help you get the best possible results. I also love that he monitors your heart rate throughout each session so you know when to take a break and can track your calories burned in real time.
Another great perk is the app you get access to — it generates meal plans and tons of recipes tailored to your goals, plus it makes tracking calories and macros super easy.
It’s been such a relief to have someone else plan well-rounded, challenging workouts, watch my form, and make adjustments to my meal plan when needed.
Colin is both talented and down-to-earth, and if you’re looking to lose weight or to meet any fitness goals, this is absolutely the place to do it!

My 14yr old Daughter and I both trained with Colin and he was a blast. Very knowledgeable about different workouts and was able to curtail each session to our individual needs. I had never done HIIT workouts before Colin introduced them to me. Now I love them!!!! The app that comes along with the training was also helpful for tracking additional exercise, weight, food macros and much more. I'm very fitness illiterate and did my best working out on my own, but wasn't getting what I wanted out of it what I wanted. So, I decided to kick my fitness up a notch and get some personal training to get the most out of my work outs. Colin in our first meeting took note of what I wanted and what my goals were as well as my capabilities (I don't sweat so I sometimes need to drink and cool off so i don't over heat).
During our workouts twice a week we worked different muscle groups and does well at keeping you motivated. I've been working with him for a month and I can already see and feel the differences.
I would highly recommend Colin if you want help with your form, gym literacy, workout routines, meals through the app, and some good motivation.

This is my first experience with a personal trainer, and working with Colin has been amazing! He has a friendly, laidback demeanor, and I felt comfortable with him right away. He designs my sessions to be challenging, but not to the point of overdoing it. He always asks before, during, and after how I’m feeling. He’s great at explaining things, is encouraging throughout, and makes corrections when needed. He has also helped me tackle some huge mental hurdles over exercises I thought I couldn’t do. As someone who had basically given up on finding the time to exercise, figuring out what to do, and worrying if I was doing it correctly, having someone to plan efficient, productive workouts for me has been invaluable. I used to hate typical gym workouts, but Colin has completely changed that for me! I bought some equipment that we use in our sessions, and I actually use them at home on a regular basis! They don't just sit around collecting dust like the jump rope I bought during the pandemic.
He knows how to tailor your workout, not only your goals, but for your personality as well. He meets you where you're at, and he's mindful of your mental health as well as your physical health!
I came in today after a really bad week, and he had me doing exercises that let me release my frustration in a healthy way. I always feel better after a session with Colin!

Can’t say enough about Colin. His attention to detail creating a tailored plan to help me reach my personal goals has been incredible. After having surgery five years ago I was left with a substantial deficit in my right arm and shoulder along with chronic pain due to other muscles having to compensate for the loss. I spent several years with no success going through traditional therapy prescribed to me by the doctor and had nearly given up thinking this pain and weakness was just going to be my life from here on out. I decided to give it one last try with a personal trainer expecting little results, boy was I wrong. In just over six months Colin has designed a plan that has not only eliminated my pain and deficit but has also built my strength and muscle mass to a point that I haven’t seen since my 30’s. If you’re looking for someone with a great personality that is going to take a personal interest in your success, then Colin is your guy. I look Forward to my progress over the next six months.

Just You Fitness has been a key addition to my kiddos development toward his hockey goals and ambitions within house league and now travel hockey. We utilize our time with Colin as an add on to practice to emphasize and strengthen my kiddos’ skating and stick handling through a targeted series of exercises. I’ve been working with Colin for a few months. This is my first experience with personal training and I didn’t know what to expect. I was introduced to Just You Fitness by my previous trainer who was actively seeking a place where he felt he could transition me to due to him making some changes in his professional career. This was really hard for me because I had been working with my previous trainer for 5+ years and he was my first trainer. However, he ensured me that I would be in good hands with Just You Fitness.
He was right.
Colin is now my trainer and when I met him for our first session, I had a really good feeling that this could be a good fit. When I came back for my second session, that feeling turned into a certainty that I had found my next trainer that would help me to build upon what I had done for the past 5+ years.
I am now coming up to the first month having Colin as my trainer and he is INCREDIBLE! He truly has your back and wants to help you to reach your fitness goals. He creates a plan based on YOUR SPECIFIC GOALS. This was important for me because I play hockey and although I'm your average regular adult league hockey player, I have a strong desire to get better as a hockey player and I know I had to dedicate myself to doing off-ice strength, conditioning and mobility. I shared this with Colin and he went to work putting together an incredible program that is specific to me. This includes nutrition as well!
Other things about Colin that make him an incredible trainer and one that you should consider if you are thinking about making that investment in a trainer:
-First Class Professionalism!
-Great communicator!
-Understands the ins and outs of training because he did it as an athlete himself.
-He's really great at finding that balance of pushing you when he believes you can do more, but also not putting you in a position to get hurt. He always has a modification ready to go if he sees you may be struggling with a particular exercise.
-His attention to detail is amazing!
-He also will educate you if you ask him questions. He's really knowledgable and is open to your questions!
-He truly has your back and really encourages you from beginning to end. He will even go out of his way to check in with you during the week to see how you're feeling and if you need anything from him.
-In my experience with Colin so far, when he says he's there for you, it goes beyond the training session. He truly wants to see you reach those fitness goals and will go above and beyond to ensure that.

Have really enjoyed working with Colin over the past month. He's attentive, helpful, and patient with his clients. There's a detailed exercise schedule for each session, but he can modify it on the fly to accomodate any soreness or injuries. He knows when and how to push you to achieve your best, without being overbearing or aggressive.
