Been going here for a month and a half now. I have to say this is such a wonderful and fun karate experience. I love coming here every chance I get. I was hesitate at first since I'm a big guy but all the sensei's were very welcoming and help me strive to reach my goals. They're also very knowledgeable with many years of experience. It's a great hobby of mine now and self defense in the real world is excellent to have in any unexpected situation. Definitely recommend for anyone. You won't regret it. Unforgettable experience.

I have only the highest compliments for the Martial School in Simpsonville. I have seen the students develop into strong leaders who are able to speak with authority and warm up classes with students who are either older or younger. They also learn real skills that can be used to defend themselves if they need to, but they stress that these skills are to be used only AFTER trying to use their verbal skills. That makes me feel better that they are not being taught to use their fighting skills to intimidate others. The best part, though, is the work ethic. At the Martial School, belts are EARNED, not bought. Respect, leadership, quality teaching and mentoring, hard work, and discipline can all be associated with this school. If you are seeking a place to boost self-confidence, for physical fitness and leadership, all while learning the skills of karate and self-defense, look no further!!! I assure you that there is no better school in the upstate than this Martial School. The Sensis are well trained and teach real skills, not for show, but to really fight. My boys have been training here for 3 years. We love it.
